  1. No, you can harvest while its dark. Theres many ways to work around the perk. A/D training included by going to indoor arena's and not training outside. Harvesters could just harvest at night marking map and map walk to cave. Caves would be visible. Only outside at night. GREAT perk for a full ranger. Seeing as you only have to see during the day. I guess it would be a perk for the desperate like hellspawn. You can fully deal with it its just annoying.

Yup, lenny trolls the dark alleys. :hiya:

Edit: Strangely this might actually boost pk a little if there are more people training in arena's. KK make up your mind for yourself now. :)

  3. Not sure if this is known yet or not. Its not a big thing, but when you cast remote heal it will continue to have the wand icon even after its casted when you scroll over people. It just gives you the error message,

Switch maps and it stays on. The spell still works fine you just have to recast as normal.

  4. Got a few pictures of some deer today. They eat the stuff that falls out of the bird feeder. Kind of fun to watch them when no one is there, they don't really seem to be affected by moving objects in the house.

    I like this one best.

This one is also good, the one under the feeder was scaring the other ones away. Thats why the one on the right looks really submissive and the one on the left has his back arched. The fawn first walked up... He's done this before and always gets scared away. This time he waited outside the fence for his (mom I think) to come and see if she could coerce the other one to let them eat. Didn't work he jumped over the fence and scared them off. :)

  5. I think they know that already... I believe they are asking so if someone asks them, "how many books have you read", they can simply press stats/counters/books. Not stats/knowledge, 1,2,3....104,105,107.

Could maybe be coupled with events instead of adding a new button. Its an "event" finishing a book right?

  6. Exhibit A:

What is the best way to make fur gloves:

Answerer 1: Mix 3 brown rabbit furs and 2 threads, it will take 1 food for each so maybe run around IP and find some bread to mix with.

Answerer 2: Buy an elven bow, fire arrows at 3:30+ and fire away. Shoot rabbits then sell them for coal. Use the coal to trade with someone at c2 who has cotton. Mix the cotton to make thread, sell the thread and buy warm fur gloves with your gold.

Answerer 3: Mix 4 leather and 4 thread.

Answer 1: 50 votes THumbs up.

Answer 2: 2 votes Lots of thumbs down.

Answer 3: 0 votes All thumbs down.

Best answer A is displayed at top for easy viewing.

The answers would be limitless but anonymously voted upon by the viewers of the post. It is not normally to this extreme, it varies slightly. I am only speaking on the object of efficiency. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings but if you've ever tried to follow the help or newbie channels its sometimes the low lvls with good intentions that try helping people. Not the high lvls with experience and knowledge.

    Edited: Revision

  7. Was just looking at something from yahoo answers, then I looked at the skills forum. Brain said okay fuse 2gether.

Just sort of something like yahoo answers for the skills forum. A lot of people give advice without actually knowing what they are talking about and normally the general population as a whole will get the right decision. So just say someone asks a skills question. People post what they "think" is a good reply. Then basically the best answer is voted upon. The organization would probably help from previous posts being looked over if it were compiled correctly and easily searchable.

Granted we do all have brains and can make a general analysis of advice being good or not good, but sometimes facts are construed in such a manner in which the construer gets confused. Typically if they are asking about a skill they don't really know enough to make this decision so why not have other people make it for them.

I guess the main drawback to this is the beauty of being individualistic. If there is only 1 way and everyone does it that way things can get kind of boring. As I say with all my suggestions (when I remember to type it) I don't know if this is a good idea or not, my brain just tends to agree with itself ya know. If it is actually feasible then I guess it'll get good replies.

    Edit:

Quoting myself "above" to answer your question "below".

but sometimes facts are construed in such a manner in which the construer gets confused

You know how sometimes things sound good in theory but have no practical application. I know your a smart guy so you'll understand this.
