    Just re-installed D2.

     

    I'll buy some stuff there for items here. Since I lost my account cos Blizzard delete them after 90 days. I lost 8 level 90 chars, and my smite paladin with the best of everything.

    He did say that he was not going to punish those who did so in the past since the rule wasn't clear.

     

    I read that, but it wont make any sense to do it in the future.

     

    Again, first ppl are allowed to give their money to the shop, later they get banned.

    Tell me what's right about people using rl $$$ to bypass illegal multi. If somebody wants to get stuff from character A onto character B (for any reason, such as selling a character and wanting to keep the stuff, or using the character to farm gold to buy stuff for the other character) and decides to sell the stuff off for rl $$$ then turn around and put it all on the other character, that's wrong.

    All that does is make a separate set of rules for the people with rl $$$ to play with. Character A cannot benefit from Character B in ANY way and vice versa. That is the rule. It never said...Character A can benefit from Character B if you spend $$$.

    As is specified in the addition to the ruleset, this is NOT about the people who choose to spend rl $$$ on a items, or about people who choose to sell gc for $$$. It's not even about the people who do both as occasional random separate events. It's about the people who are abusing both legal situations to get around a rule.

    And if that is "right" for you, this is not the game for you.

    it is right because EL MUST NOT take RL into account.

    My 'leave-it-to-the-last-minute' brother is now having a dinner for his 21st birthday on Saturday night (the current time of the tournament, for me, is 1am Sunday morning)... idk for sure that i'll be home in time, prolly not tbh... buuut, Vanyel's Thelinor comp is now canceled, so the Showdown will probably be happening when that was scheduled to start (which is actually the usual time-slot i go for with Showdown tournaments).

     

    So the tournament will probably be happening at this time now:

    I may make it a few hours earlier, i'll confirm the definite time within 24 hours.

     

    I will try to not be too drunk :)

     

    Sorry for the change to event time this close to when it's meant to happen, but RL is annoying like that... i hope all competitors can still make it.

    due to the new time, i can't take part in the tournament, count me out.

     

    edit : i talked with korrode and the time may be posponed again, so if he changes the time again, i'll he here :pickaxe:
