  1. I noticed that it's possible to fight one opponent as a team in a single combat map. If there is 1on1 melee fight going on, a mage can come in and harm any of them in that single combat map. But archers, on the other hand, can not attack any of them as they are already fighting.

However, multiple archers can fight one enemy in a single combat map and that's logical, since they don't actually engage in combat.

So basically what I'm suggesting is removing the possibility to harm a target who is already fighting in a single combat map.

  2. @ Cruella: on the contrary. if you want better exp and you are over Ran 30, I'd recommend you to use a nightvisor and train at bad conditions. you won't hit that many monsters as in well-lit areas, but the exp rating will be better.

and FYI, I stopped training ranged for a while (lack of funds)

  3. Go Bret!

Would have done the same if I were you lol :D and would have stayed quiet if I was Redsox lol

So basically you're letting everyone know that if they try to ask for a spawn that you're on, they will get cursed at and posted about here in Disputes. How hard would it have been to be nice? :D This topic should be renamed lol

  4. teleport to range OR asking politely FTW!

Some storages are too crowded, that's a known issue. If you noticed, the SRM storage has been made larger in the update, don't know about NC storage (the wooden walls in the middle of the sto should be removed IMO).

@ LabRat: how exactly was it fixed? could you give a screenshot? (forum PM if you don't want to spam here)

  5. The only thing I like in this idea is... well... nothing. Only maybe the sort-yourself thingy.

However, the storage could be improved, for instance, make the window a little bit larger so that you won't need to use scrooler in the left menu. As well as that, there could be a possibility to open two tabs at the same time, like food and flowers (might improve mixers' life a little).

  6. I was thinking of actually making two-handed weapons have a special attack to freeze opponents for 3 hits (like the spider does), but it would have an area effect, that it affect opponents who stand 1 tile further from you - as if you fling the weapon and hit everyone around you, just not doing any damage, only freezing them for a short period of time. of course, it would have to be a really low chance, say 5-10%

  7. if rostos were 5k instead of 20k, people would probably go to PK four times more. you lose one cheap rosto, go get another and go back to PK, while if you lose one expensive rosto, you don't want to come back and lose another one. I think people would be willing to spend more all in all if rostos were cheaper

  8. @ Zeddicul and Radu.

Imagine Zeddi being a/d 60's and magic 70+, he can enter an instance, designed for 60's a/d fighters and beat all the damn waves alone. (having a few mules to restock him once in a while, or 2-3 fighters to tank the main damage).

Considering that, I second Zeddicul's idea to make the NPC re-check your stats (ok, make it magic 85 for 100 a/d instance, whatever; summoning 100 and ranging 60-70 (no one has reached that yet but hell, they'd pwn everything when they do), would be a good decision IMO) - more rostos used, since monsters would probably flee from fighters every once in a while and attack rangers/summoners/mages who would be lame enough to not use a diss ring, more gcs leaving the game since they'd need to buy arrows/possibly ess/summ stones from NPCs as well.

Whatever you decide, Radu, I think there's a lot of true in Zeddicul's idea.

  9. Healing arrows? are you serious?

Don't forget that there will be explosive arrows too, and I very much support the idea of poisoned arrows (or arrows that freeze the target for some time (10% chance to do so?))

Talking about new ranged weapon possibilities, I might think of catapults and balistas, that would be stationary on some maps, and someone would need to use it with special arrow types to be able to shoot with it, and the higher ranged level, the better chance to hit the target. Or they might be manufacturable (pretty expensive and heavy I guess), placed on a map (like the mines), and then used by someone.

  10. Depends on your point of view - you invest an enormous amount of gcs to extend your EMU beyond the limit. then, when you use it to actually haul something to sto, it takes much less time. So investing some gcs to keep yourself in mule shape isn't that bad. Other idea tho, when you're muling for someone else, ask them to provide food.
