    Firstly, what MP said, PK strength is relative to the other players, so if they're capped as well then it's fair. And secondly, it won't be harder to train a/d for pk because you can get nice exp without having to worry about recovering a reset (to go from training build to coord build for PK).
  3. Restoration based on rationality

    One of the good things about the attribute cap, is it will add more character diversity by not limiting the players to only being able to compete by getting mostly coordination. Restoration being based on rationality would have the opposite effect because then everyone would be better off with a p/c/r/w build since it has dex, health and mana (although lacking a bit in reaction, but there is still some coord). So, I would rather not have it on the pk server. Maybe I'm wrong, but it would atleast be nice to try it out first before implementing. on that note, will there be a PK Test Server after the Beta?

    Other major changes have passed with less majority (such as cooldown). And also I agree with asgnny that most of the people who voted no did so because they disagreed with '48' as a cap, not the idea of capping attributes in general. Edit: You know you can raise other attributes than just p/c, right? There would still be plenty to do by increasing the other attributes, not to mention that the skills *aren't* capped.

    I got my p/c pretty high, and I'm in favour of this idea. If you're current p/c is 20/60 you shouldn't have any problems training from thease caps. in fact, you should be more free to make the training easier by getting other attributes than p/c

    It's not just for PKers, though mostly so fighters don't get imbalanced stats. Mixers could benifit from increasing reason/will for more exp though. Most mixers already have more will to get more experience. Most mixers already choose to mix between emu and experience because it makes sense. The problem is that reasoning does mixers no good at all except more experience and that is not enough reason to take it. Mixers who are not PKers just do not get much of anything at all if anything from a cap limit. It does not help them in any way. The playing field for mixers does not need to be leveled. You earn what you do as a mixer and lowering attributes will not help that at all. TirunCollimdus And most mixers don't have 1k+ EMU. Besides, Ent can always add an item to increase EMU to make up for the cap. EDIT: What I meant with that post was that it was not only to balance PK, but fighting as well. It only benefits the mixers in that there will be an increased demand for their items.

    Yes from me. Even though I'm negged up and have ebul coord, plus got 1 hydro nexus. It's a much needed change and I think it would make the game more fun. Exactly. The pickpoints people have won't dissapear. 384 Mana chars will be kinda commen, and will be impossible to kill since the max might you have is 48. Will anyone be able to kill anyone without items of 'death' or the rings that do massive damage and massive mana drain? Health and might limited while mana goes through the roof. My first post is so long because I tried to cover every part of the argument I could think of but this is something else. It will be bad enough that so many people will be forced to retreat to lower level monsters for training but what about PK with this situation for PK? Is this really good for anyone? How? TirunCollimdus PS Read each paragraph of my first post seperately instead of the whole thing at once. A big problem that cooldown introduced is that the SRs had too much cooldown. Combined with a low Toughness:Might ratio it made fights very short. I believe the cooldown was intended for people to have much more balanced attributes, and adding a cap would enable people to do so without getting pwned by ebul-coord-players (like me ) It's not just for PKers, though mostly so fighters don't get imbalanced stats.     Lol, no, I won't change any votes. I already said in the first line of the thread not to vote like a bovine. You should have asked first. That's fine, it would only be a conditional yes from me anyway, I'd still be ok with "No" votes winning. But does that mean the drop rate would be increased as stated in my earlier post?     Umm, no, the reason is totally the opposite of what you just said. The original idea was to make them more accessible to everyone that knows how to manage their items and training properly. Which is surprising, because I would have thought that people would actually want to get one and would vote for my idea. If I could be sure that the drop rate would be increased to the point that the price would definitely go below that of a CoL, I would have voted yes. Edit: If it is true that the drop rate will increase A LOT (not say double or triple what it is now), then feel free to change my vote to yes.

    I voted no, it would make it like half the risk of breaking thermal serp all the time when you are training. And also, what exactly is wrong with there being a lot of nmts ingame? 1) if people hoard them they won't be affecting market anyway 2) even if there are tons of drops and they got unleashed on market thus lowering the price, what would be wrong with that? Cheap NMTs aren't a bad thing imo. Besides, there could be some quest or NPC to take NMTs out of the game. Even if they must be removed from game, it doesn't HAVE to break. ~Senia

  21. High level monsters adjustment

    acctually 44/100 is about right for boxing yetis asuming around 125-130 def. Forest chim only doesn't get hit much by people with low p/c like 44/82 because of the armor, not toughness. Armor is pierced by critcal hits, so you'll not hit it then suddenly hit it very hard because the critical will go through the armor; much like cockatrice. That is why Phantom Warriors seem to not get hit alot, it's not from high coord or some magic perk, it's just uber armor. Also, after yeti was reduced this last time, you will lose money boxing them unless you have alot of luck. most drops are extremely rare and gc was reduced, from 0-450 to 0-390. It may have been true at one point that yeti was a 'gc machine', but not now. it only looks good when compared to chims.
