Yesterday, when I finally got my EL to work, I was happy. Now I get this : I asked DNS for help and it didn't work. I tried : Turning off Global Filters : no result Turning off Global Ignores : no result Turning off Save Global Ignores : no result Applying Entropy Windows Patch : NO result I seem stuck. EDIT : OMFG. IS all I have to say. Here is my error log and my fears have come true. I seem to suffer the same thing as many others :

Extra stuff that could be important : EL config I explain the 192.168.0.1 adress for server as it is my proxy server adress which actually made the game connect from my network computer yesterday night. And my EL.ini file, taken in screenshots, separated in 5 parts (they follow each other, as if you scrolled down.) If you have reading trouble, tell me. ok, applied Entropy's Patch. Got this error log : Another Info : Sometimes I get Lots of Packet Overrun, protocol = 72 .... messages and sometimes I get just one.

Do I have to conclude you are too incompetent to fix my problem ? I USE PROXY +. I have Kerio Personal firewall. It will work on my machine that is directly connected to the internet (without having to pass through network.). Eternal Lands says : Can't Resolve Server Adress. Perhaps you are not connected to the internet or your DNS server is down. There is no alert on my Kerio. THat is the main problem, need more details ? ask.

Sorry, it worked for a Night. Now I get packet OVerrun, Data loss. Disconnected from Server. Ill post a screenshot here shortly. Has it got anything to do with todays update ?

Yes sorry, I was slightly "annoyed" when I posted. Im sorry about the incompetent. I can't give a permission with Kerio, since the message doesn't seem to be getting to Kerio, as no alert appears. EDIT 1 : Btw Sildegaar. Donation is just a fancy work for salary. They don't get payed, but they live off the naive that donate money. Who says Entropy isn't a huge crook ? (j/k) EDIT 2 : Another Answer to Sildegaar : Last time I had the same problem, I was patient for 3 MONTHS. now ive been patient since June. I feel my patience is limited. But I will grant myself another Month before EL goes definately down the drain. (don't feel aimed, it doesn't work with ANY online game neither. Probably messed up on my end too )

Can anyone tell me how to set my proxy up so that it allows Eternal Lands to connect ? Im using an application layer proxy called Proxy + and a firewall called Kerio Personal Firewall. I hope someone can help me. (Btw my problem applies to ALL online games and apps like Xfire.) EDIT : I tried replacing the adress by 62.93.225.26 but without success.)

No thats the problem, but the network is working fine. I don't get any alert on Kerio. Thinking its the proxy fucking up.

Take Sulfur. If its all locked in CC, newbies have to walk to Morcraven Marsh, which is quite impossible unless you have 20/20 att/def and if you come armoured. For some things like Lilacs, its just fine. But for some ressources, it just won't work. Positive point is that the FE prices will blow up, including the EFE prices. It could force people to walk further to get their ressources, thus making the trip longer. And personally, making my HE is quite long enough Im not expressing a total disagreament with the idea, im just showing that on some ressources, it might reserve the simplest thing to do in alchemy (FE) and other essences for higher levels to people who developped att/def. Then if I follow the path of a FE & EFE, it could possibly make weapons and armor more expensive, because if FE become as expensive as ... hmm... 6-7gc each, EFE will also suffer perhaps a 2k increase, making it 9k (I think). Manufacturers will also suffer, as their ingreds cost more. They allready have trouble selling top notch equipement (plate&serps) because of their prices, it would be not too good to increase the price even more. As I know a bit in Map Making, I think the rock has been placed under the ground. Small error made by the map maker. Nothing dramatic, but I felt it was good to point it out
