OK, I uninstalled the game, deleted it.......then redownloaded it so I have brand new up to date version, but I`m still getting "EL has performed an illegal procedure and will be closed down" and same as before, I have to reboot to get back into the game, it crashed 3 or 4 times in an hour last night!! <_< I looked at the error log, and its still going on about Moon Bubbles!! Please someone tell me what the heck thats all about, and please tell me how I can fix the problem, if I have to keep rebooting my PC every 5mins, I`ll have to stop playing the game, and I really dont want to do that Any help or suggestions would be great, thankyou.

Ok, just an idea here, the problem reared its ugly head last night, so I thought I`d post on forums to see what everyone else thinks. Storage areas are becoming a bit of a problem, esp since we can now make items at several locations now, the main problem is when the area becomes crowded, that in turn can lead to problems finding the storage bots and actually getting to him/her. A lot of people are standing next to the bots, and while this isn`t actually illegal, it can be deemed as a little inconsiderate to other players that are trying to use the facility. So please spare a thought for others players, and SIT down rather than stand, it just makes it easier for everyone, even if your only going to be there for a minute, it only takes a few seconds to sit and then stand as you leave. We all wanted more storage areas to make stuff at, and we`ve got that now, so thats fantastic, but please, lets be a little more considerate and try not to block the store bots. One other point I`d like to make, people who are AFK, we all know what Raven is/was like for lagging, the reason being as I see it, is the amount of people there, and this is now becoming a problem elsewhere too. Can we ban AFKing at storage areas?? This would free up so much space and make life easier for those that want to make stuff and for those that want to drop off,or collect items. If you`re not at your keyboard, why do you have to sit in a storage area?? Cant people simply walk outside, or just move away from the area before they leave their keyboard?? I know some of you will argue,well, when I come back I want to grab my things and go, well fine, but how long does it take to walk through a door, or cave entrance?? The game already has the program to teleport players while harvesting, so why not use it to teleport people who are sat at storage areas on AFK to a nearby location?? I`ve seen people sat there ALL day and ALL night, c`mon people, MOVE and let those people that want to use the areas for what they`re there for in. Thanks for your time.

:lol: I got teleported into the huge rock next to the fruits in NC while I was harvesting!! I couldn`t get out, so Jezebelle had to teleport me out of there

If people are chatting, or working on bags, they cant go AFK because they are activly doing something, its only when the player is idle and doing nothing that he will go AFK. Sometimes, as was mentioned, players cant help it if they leave the keyboard, if someone has been playing all day, you cant expect them not to run and use the loo, or grab a sandwich or something. If people are only gone for a short length of time, its not a real problem, I was refering to the people that sit there for hours on end, and they`re not chatting otherwise they wouldn`t be AFK. Kami was right, to a certain degree, that yes, if players go AFK while sat on a bag, there is always the risk that the bag will go pop, as for the 12mins, I was always led to believe, thats not always the case, but it depends on how many bags there are on that map at that time, so 12mins might actually only be 9-10mins. To compensate for a few problems, why not make the AFK delay, a little longer?? Roja I`m glad to see ya read my 1st post in detail :lol: Thats what I said!! Hehe. We already have the teleport program in the game for harvesting, so surely it wouldn`t be difficult to adjust the program slightly to teleport people that have been inactive at storage areas for what, shall we say 15mins? That way, IF people have left for a few mins to answer the phone/door, grab a drink or something to eat, or go to the bathroom, it gives them time to return to their bag IF they`re working on one. Sirdan, while you suggestion is helpful, it wouldn`t solve the lag problem, because they would still be there. If 20 people are sat at storage, its going to lag, if 20 people are there working, it cant be helped, but if 15 out of those 20 aren`t even there, thats what I would like to see stopped. But yes, you`re right to the 1st part of my post, it would help with the access side of things. Again, thanks for you time

Why do people still post, moaning they were killed in a PK Area?? EVERYONE knows what goes on there, and yet you still went, unarmed, without knowing who this guy was, and you got jumped.....MUPPET!! One thing puzzled me, if you were naked, what did you lose?? (Apart from pride :lol: ) Surely people should be smart enuff to know, TRUST NOBODY!! Jeeeez you`ve only gotta spend 5 mins reading through the Abuse or FLames sections on here, and you will see 95% of the "Fighters" names mentioned over n over, doesn`t that tell you something?? There are a few of the PK guys who are decent guys, and they will give you you`re stuff back, I dont go to PK Maps very often, but if I do, I go to roam around and watch a few fights or an event, but I take as little with me as possible. I`ve been killed a few times, big deal, but I guess I`ve been lucky, coz I`ve always been given my stuff back.....LOL I believe Satan kicked my ass once :lol: But he did give my items back But you`ve learnt a valuable lesson, lets just see if you learn by it.

Failing that, check ya prefs to see if you have Sit Lock on, if its on,doesn`t matter how many times you try and walk off, ya glued to the ground, make sure its off, and then try clicking on a location on the map and see what happends

I`m using the EL client, I downloaded the game, and I`ve not done anything to it, i`ve not taken anything away, nor have I added anything to it. I wouldn`t even know where to get another client from Besides with all the illegal ones around, I`ll stick to EL`s one, that way I know I wont get into trouble!! Just had a thought (shocking I know) I did have some of Freds maps, would that make any difference

Forgive me if a similar thread is on here somewhere, coz if it is, I aint got a clue where My question is......once a Guild has been made, is it possible to change the Guild name and intials without having to destroy the Guild and recreate it again?!?! Just wanted to post a quick thanx and a goodbye for now to all my friends on EL. Thanx for the free game Ent, had a lot of fun, but the harvest update took the fun outta the game for me, so I`m gonna have a little break and play some other stuff for awhile. Good luck with EL2, I wish you all the best Only one real hate in this game, and thats bag jumpers, thieves, and the teleporting harvesting kinda makes it far too easy for even more jumpers to get loads of free stuff from hard working players. I`m reluctant to harvest anything and do any kind of project now, and without materials, I cant make anything to gain XP. So I`m on EL vacation as of now, hopefully I`ll come back soon refreshed and ready to get back into the swing of things I`m not giving up on the game, so plz dont delete my character, thanx!! And to all the friends I`ve made on here, thankyou so much!! Ok, Ent if you feel you need a break,then you take one bud, you deserve it. But take a break because ya need one,not because peoples BS is getting you down. There`s a very old saying "ya cant please everyone", and its very true, everyone in the world has their own opinion on whats good and whats crap, if everyone was the same then this world would be bloody boring!! People that just post in forums swearing and cursing at you and the developers should just have their posts removed, as I`ve said in my previous posts, everyone has a right to say what they feel, but they need to do it in a sensible,mature way. Ent, you have created a game that people feel passionatly about, hence the hundreds of posts on the forums, and I also stated in previous posts, if I didn`t give a shit about this game, I wouldn`t be here now. If you want a game to be a success, you need players, and those players at the end of the day are the ones that will keep the game going, so its important you listen to what the players are saying, and before anyone says anything, yes, I know you do, but walking away from a problem doesn`t solve it, because it will still be there when you return, and I hope you do return soon. While the game is in Beta people should expect changes, things will be introduced, some good, some bad, its then a case of developing the good and scraping the bad. You have created a really good game, take credit for that, again, you deserve that, the very fact that a lot of us have been playing for a good 6 months or more should tell you, you`ve done something right to keep those players here. I for one, did not agree with the new harvest update, but thats not to say the idea was wrong, it needed adjustment in my opinion, as I hope you saw in the Flame section, being killed while picking fruits is daft, you have to admit that. The honest players on here want to help you rid the game of sad ass macroers and illegal clients, only cheats like cheats, and as someone that has worked their ass off to try and improve my skills and to make some cool stuff, it pisses me off to, to know their are people out there taking a short cut to get what they want. Ent, people have posted on this thread that you dont hear enough of the good stuff and hear how much people enjoy the game, just look at the amount of people that play and look at the amount of people on here asking you not to leave, I think that says it all. We (the honest players) are very grateful for all you have done, you have given me hours upon hours of fun and enjoyment, I have made new friends on here, and thats because of the game you created, so thankyou. I wish you would change your mind and come back and fight for what is yours, lets ALL try and think of a way to stamp out the idiots trying to cheat their way through EL, and lets try and make the solution, one thats not going to upset all the honest players. Throw a poll onto the forums asking for peoples ideas on ways to get rid of the shit nuggets, hopefully there are a few people out there with some good ideas. Best of luck bud

Wow, I`ve been up for like 5 mins and already I`ve spoken to several people who are talking about quiting the game after just one night!! Not bad going. Ent, what were you thinking buddy?? I know all the people using illegal programs pisses you off, and rightly so, but what you have added here is going to kill the game once and for all, not only for those who have stuck by you and supported you, but also for anybody new to the game. Ask yourself this question, someone hears about a cool game called Eternal Lands, the find the site,make a new character, they start to harvest to get some much needed XP to gain some levels, within 10mins, they`re killed several times by bee stings, splattered by falling rocks, teleported to an area they know nothing of,and then killed by a bunch of sad muppets in PK maps that think its funny to kill nOObs or players with no armor or weapons because all they were doing was picking some roses, how long before that person says, whats the point, wheres the fun in that?? I know how hard you`ve been trying to stop people from macroing and using illegal clients, but you really have to rethink this, this is NOT the way to go about it. If I`m gonna lose 2/3 of my hit points every 10 mins by a rockfall, or get stung by bees or get teleported to a PK map, I`m not gonna bother harvesting,and if I dont harvest, I cant make anything, and if I cant make anything, I cant gain levels and if I cant gain levels and improve my skills......whats the point of the game again?? Please remove this update, for the good of ALL the honest players and for the good of YOUR game

As a former member of OX, its sad to see old members fighting, c`mon guys and girls, its a game, its s`posed to be FUN!! If people are buggin` you, just log out for awhile, chill out, play some tunes, have a drink....CALM down, then log back in and carry on playing when ya feel again. Damn, so much emotion in a game

Ok, as joint Guildmaster of BanE,I felt I needed to add a little something here. As Aza stated,BanE was in the middle of a Project,and yes Capa did get in the way,but I DONT want to see him banned. He`s not the only one to use that IP address,and to ban him,would also be punishing other people that had nothing to do with the inncident. I dont know the ins and outs of all the programming that goes on in the game Ent,but please could you punish him by reducing his XP instead,I`m sure you can find a way somehow?! I`m fully aware that using Macro to harvest IS illegal, and we`ve all heard the "it was my brother playing" routine, BUT, as I said, it wouldn`t just be him you`d be punishing by giving him an IP ban, others use the same IP and I dont wanna upset other good,honest players. We only made the complaint because he was in the way of our Project and wasn`t responding to our PM`s, as BanE made the complaint, shouldn`t we at least have some say in his punishment Its up to you in the end Ent, but please think about the innocent players as well as the ones that misbehave!!
