I have read alot on the main server about what is outlaw and what is not. I was able to come to this conclusion. THE PK server is like the wild West in America. Back when there was alot of outlaw or lawless people. Howerver even the outlaws had a code. As do we we have a code we follow. Will that code change yes it wil. Their are even codes amongst thieves in RL. YOU could also represent the PK Server as like true mideval times Europe. Since we can multi many of us have come to use a non politically correct term for our alts. We call them slaves. We control them we are there we do not use bots cause that is GAME ILLEGAL. But they are expendable. THey are used to do some of the most boring tasks like harvesting while our Mains do the fun work. NOw what is the same in both of these examples THE CODE OF the LAWLESS is only able to be held by the iron fist. What that basically means is that when more people come on get stronger or even gain better popularity that CODE can and will change. WIll it be for the better we can only watch and find out. The current community likes the CODE of the LAWLESS. Are any of the codes written down NOPE. What we do have because of these CODES, that have been passed on, is no whining when a person gets pk'd. LOL in fact I have gotten some funny pm's after killing a person. For the time Being Handyman, Yaser, and Myself do our best to maintain a CODE of the LAWLESS for this server. The only reason we can is we are the top 3 ACTIVE fighters in game. I would like to see this change and it is their is some fighters catching us, due to lvl slow down. but they will run into this same issue. (lvl slow down) NOW why would you want to play on the pk server. 1. about as many non PK areas on PK server as Pk areas on Main server. 2. There is still alot of time to start a character and catch the top chars. 3. MUlti is allowed (no worries about being banned because "my brother" also plays and lives in the same house. 4. Alot of new things are being implimented regularly that can really increase your the great play already on the pkserver. 5. Radu and Learner are being great with listening to us and how we are trying to build the server up. 6. there are people already setup to help new people to the server grow quickly by supplying the stuff we could not in the beginning. (IE you can get sr's and he's within your first day of playing.) you can get aug armors and up to tit-longs and possibly some tit serps within the first couple days. I think it was 2 weeks before the first tit serp was in the pk server. THe idea of Well I won't go over cause there are not enough players is what is keeping the server from growing. We broke the ground and many who helped break the ground have left but will come back as they say when the player base grows. Now is the time to join the PK server the ground is broken the land is free and waiting for you to reap your riches.

I think the highest manuer is 6 right now, so you have a lot of work to hekp there. I personally welcome any testing you wish to do with ants or any other learning type critters. Well greetings, I am Lonewolfe your = opportunity PKer, also rule enforcer for the time being. I have the job until someone else can take it. MY personal rules of PK I will pk anyone anytime but will not herass PK. Meaning unless you come back to me I generally only pk you once in a 6 hour period. Their are some exceptions to this rule. Basically means you killed an alt of mine. Have fun PK hard play harder.

If they are too weak, help them level ... thats all the level Entropy wanted added. Even though this is a PK server you are still free to decide to help or hurt the ants as you see fit, just remember they have long memories and they will be gaining features. In the weeks to follow I'll be enhancing there positive experiance tracking as well to make things more interesting. TYVM Learner. Today I hosted my own style pk hide and seek. plus kill. It worked out nicely. the rules were. 1. I will be nekkid 2. I will not be armed. 3. I will not restore in middle of fight 4. I would not engage unless range attack used on me. otherwise they had to engage me. FIrst up sego found me and tried on his own by poisoning me. he valiantly died. Next was spyra and Prohibited. I MI'd Never said I wouldn't do that. THey both valiantly died but took close to 100 hp's off me. Third they new what to do. Sego, Spy, Gambit, and Pro all attacked me at once. Sego did not last long. But they did get me with the 4 of them ganging me. Great job. The winner of the Mirror cape was Prohibited.

I may have copied the old .elm files thus fixing the issue. OK for all maps with issues if you copy your old 1.5 elm file you will fix this issues. I checked it and that is actually what I did. I copied my whole 1.5 maps folder off my server over to the new client.

Lets use this thread as our journal of the events of the pk server, specifically the invasions. I will attempt to gather my stories and if everyone else could keep the story alive it would be great ty for your time. Where shall I start? "handy Man" My Name is Handyman I was bashing fluffs in skf when a message appeared "There are rumours that a strange ship heads towards Naralik coast" So I didn't take any chances when to store stocked up on pots and ess and off to Naralik I went On my arrival I saw a strange man called Mrhide sat there looking out to see As the wind started to pick up darkness came across the land, then a deadly still I turned to look at MrHide his eyes fixed on the coastline He knew what was coming! Before I knew what was happening I was crawling in rat's savage rats biting at me As I fought them off MrHide turned towards me and in a chilling voice said "This is just the start many will die before this day will end " As I fought off the last of the rats I was overrun by Goblins then female and male goblins I shreaked out across channel 1 for help Vowled that there would be no PK if we were to defeat this foe we would all need to come together and fight as one When I thought all might be lost out of the mists of time Lonewolfe appeared just as the shores were overrun by attacking ogre We fought side by side as soon as we killed one three more would attack are blades dripping with blood of the ogres, They screamed out as we sliced through their fowl smelling flesh. Just as we thought we were getting there we saw them first one then another would there be no end to this Before we knew what had hit us hundreds of Cyclops were violating Naraliks shores What were we to do even with the strength of the Lonewolf at my side I knew we could not hold out much longer Then he appeared with the strength of a hundred men Spyridonas the mighty came slicing his way through the monsters to our rescue I could not believe it! What is this enemy guilds working together for the greater good of the land. So now united as one we fought side by side through wave after wave of monsters Until final it was over we had defeated them this time The once peaceful shores of Naralik were now covered with dead monsters the beautiful blue sea had turned to red As Lonewolf was cutting off monsters ears to use as trophies I fell to my knees and looked across at Spyridonas the mighty We both knew the next time we meet it would be each other we would be fighting For this is the PK server and we live to PK From Lonewolfe I was in a very cold map I awoke laying in the snow and through the portals a Call came My god They are everywhere. I knew the Voice of Handy. I started to dig through my pockets and there it was a shiney ring that read naralik. As I chanted the magic words. I appeared very close to my good friend as wave after wave of ship hit the shore unloading more foul creatures. The great elves still have not got all the blood off my armor. We fought side by side and defended the lands from the ebul people from accross the sea. Several days later PL is being overwelmed from their neighboring lands. THey all came as a peaceful gathering for BOB's Birthday. It did not take long for the pushing and shoving to start. Runners ran to the 4 corners as the call for help came out and the fighting started. Quickly the small army of PL was overwelmed and slaughtered. but one Lone mayor got away and found his way to IP where he put out the call. Quickly the great fighters of the land showed up. Battling back the creatures and eventually pushed back regaining the city. Just when they thought they had every last vile creature rounded up and hung or place in jail, reinforcements started pouring in from everywhere. The grounds ran red of all the blood. SOme of the defenders got abused. Luckily the gods shined on them and breathed live back into their bodies. I was fighting off 3 fluffs when my best friend and great Warrior Handy Got stabbed in the back by a clops while trying to rid the lands of the little white wabbits that poured in. After the blood flowed from the last fluffy I ran to his side. Just to catch his final words Life goes on. Be the best you can be. MR HIDE This time the evil Bob hosted a BBQ in Portland. And, as usual, his annoying and misbehaving friends and relatives came to join. But 3 brave fighters, Miss_Nomer, BKC56 and Gambit defended Portland and finally sorted out that mess. At the end, inferno joined them and from then on, Bob's hooligans had no chance and after 30 minutes, Portland was peaceful again as we know it. LoneWolfe I was visiting the wraith when the call came out "My God they are everywhere". I ran to sto and grabbed my gear and was off. The poor guy in Grub pen was screeming HELP!!! HELP!!! yaser and I hit grub pen in a hurry. blood was flying everywhere. ogres, trolls, clops, and fluffy's were raiding the lands. hours later I am still trying to scrub the blood off me and my armor. We managed to save that poor fellow in Grubari Pen. at the loss of some of the younger fighters who valiantly died to the creatures.

Tuesday May 6th Diary A group of us set out on C2 looking for the mischeavous Leopard named Leonard. We were all scattered around the lands. THe land seemed to turn red, I looked up to the moon and saw that it was red as blood, Just than I recognized the wind changed as well. A call came out across the Air elementals. Their here. They are coming, Can you stop them. Than a cry came out accross the lands "My god what do they want with PV." I grabbed my sigils and chanted to the Spirit essences and was teleported to PV. Just as I entered I was already drawing my sword and slashing through hordes of goblins raiding from the north. arriving within minutes, the first wave was dessimated by some of the fastest reacting CHampions and warriors in all the lands. I dropped to my Knees and prayed to alluwen about blessing all the warriors and champions. I asked her to please watch over all and to send their spirits back to their bodies and allow them to return to the living. SHe must have answered my prayers for the fallen hero's did again walk with the living. I was unsure why PV was targeted. I thought about it and realized that it is a land of worship to Alluwen with all the wonderful flower gardens. Plus there are some special places that can lead to other lands quickly. Lonewolfe 1,2 Lonewolfe's coming for you 3,4 better lock your door. 5,6 gonne die by sticks 7,8 you gonna be my bait 9,10 The underworld AGAIN.

LOL yea and me breaking my sword and continuing to fight unarmed and still killing a DC. That was like the ultimate challenge. Ran out of DE's and LE's and had to go old school on that DC's BUTT. Yea I tend to prepare more now especially with the hint of a great mob coming in. Seems word has spread that there are some champions in the lands now and all the creatures want a peace of us. I would say out of active players you put handy, Yaser, Dekke, and I together and give us some support from other mages and We could take down a dragon even in leather armor. Edit add in. Handy I think we need to keep and EYE on SEGO. HE just started and he is already killing fem goblins. Won't be long for sego to join the champions. . I think I am specifically going to have to add "SEGA" to my PK List to slow him down just a little bit.

That actually sounds like a fun idea. Use some contained place (like an arena or something) and allow time for everyone to get equipped and staged. Then just start summoning one critter at a time (perhaps starting at the ogre or fluffy level) and working up and see the team work together to bring them each down. Yes I did like PV for this. It was a little hectic but as you got into a rhythm on this map it worked out great. Yes we did specifically try to protect the weaker fighters. But if we didn't it would not be a successfull defense of PV. My personal oppinion is to let the fighters fight what they can. what good would it do me to rush in and trash mobs that I can afk nekkid and let the weaker fighters die. My idea is let them get that good exp and us higher fighters can post at the areas the big mobs will come in from. I do like this style invasion I do like all the invasions. However any missing part and it could go bad real quick. 1. We do have a great community that acts appropriate and works together even on a PK map. 2. A great host for the invasions. 3. A great area where all have a chance to fight there level. Mr Hide I know it is very hard for you to figure out what to spawn for us high lvl fighters. IT is a hard balance if you go to High and we die it could adversely kill everyone. I think though with the 0 cool down it may take us awhile and we may need some people to jump in especially the mages I think we could even take down a dragon.

Agreed, i had a wrong #data_dir on all 3 servers main/test/pk. o There was a hole in DP sto on PK server o No hole in DP sto on main server o No hole in DP sto on test server Then i fixed the 3 EL.INI's by specifying a correct #data dir o There is a hole in DP sto on PK server o No hole in DP sto on main server o No hole in DP sto on test server So my conclusion is: The PK server has (again?) old maps. (i thought, that was fixed once, but im not completely sure about that) Piper Edit: you will fall into the hole when you just go from the entrance to Grim or vice versa. It may be the way Mine setup. For some reason Mine setup that all the player stats including maps are in c:\users\username\mydocuments\PK, and main server is c:\users\username\mydocuments\main. now the only issue I have found and needs to be updated for is the R map for WVF. Also I know of this issue from one of the updates. I could not see where the iron was moved in EVTR until I updated my map sets. REason being was that I had an old map that still had rock covering where the new iron was. I went out to ranger map reinstalled just that map and it worked fine. So far I have not found any of the holes that you guys are talking about. I was told in Main that what was happening is that I was telling the server to harv here (where old iron was) and the server was responding no harvestable here. therefore I was unable to harv iron. My maps did not match the server map. THis could be the same with the holes in the ground. Your maps are saying it is solid floor at x lvl, and the server is returning no the floor is at this lvl. THerefore you see ground but there is no ground there. Lonewolfe

actually yes your map files are pulling from a different area. I had major issues at first. I looked to see where the pk maps were kept and moved the map files to that area. That got rid of most of the bugs
