I don't think it would be a good idea. People would harvest, it would dissapear, and everyone would run to the next spot. Whoever got there first would clear it out, and the slowest players wouldn't get a chance to harvest.

This is more a suggestion for the mods/Entropy. We are all familar with the people who constantly go off topic in-channel, and are asked to either stop or change channels. We have all seen the people who won't. The mods have no choice but to mute them. My suggestion is that there should be a command that allows moderators to kick a person to a specific channel. While they would be able to return to the channnel they were kicked from, it might serve as a good second offense punishment instead of straight out muting, and may show to the offender that s/he is dealing with a mod, and should follow the rules. Ie: first offense-warning, second offense-kicked to approprate channel, third offense-muted.

Last I heard, you had to pay Entropy 50 USD for a house. (Don't know if thats changed)
