  4. Ok I searched and nothing came up so I thought I would speak my mind. I was watching some of the chat in #GM and just got to thinking that the Orc Slayer of Mana Nullification is ridiculously over powered. I can understand 50 to 75 mana taken away, but 150? That's just crazy imo. Most PKers probably don't even have 150 mana, or if they do it isn't much more than that. So I just suggest decreasing their power a bit just to make it not such an insane advantage for rich players. Oh btw before all you people start complaining about how it cost you 500k+ plus for it, I don't want to hear about it. So fire away

    Make physique/will give +20 health instead of 5. Longer fights and more time to diss and tele. Although some smart person will come up with a way to bash that idea but whatever

I think this would be cool: Splash Damage- An area effect where when targeted and attacked by multiple combatants, the currently equipped weapon (and/or armor) has a chance to do an area effect, or splash damage, onto multiple opponents for a high amount of damage. The less the opponents, the weaker the splash or the less chance of the effect. So when ganged by many enemies you have a better chance to inflict more damage to all of the combatants instead of just focusing on a single foe. Armor or Weapon Augmentation- A gem or mineral (a rare gem found while harvesting or by rare monster drop) with magical properties that when infused with a weapon or armor gives the holder a slight bonus in armor, strength, accuracy, rebound (mirror), etc... An emphasis on *slight* increase because obviously we already have several powerful items ingame already. -Talixim

  9. Reward System

    Let's get right down to it. The Reward System. As most people know, lots of games are coming out with "Achievement Systems" and various other things along the lines of that. I thought about it and formatted the idea to fit with EL. Reward Points would be awarded when reaching a certain goal or completing a certain quest. Those points would accumulate sort of like pickpoints but these points would be spent differently. An NPC would be stationed somewhere easily (or dangerously ) accessed by players in the community. The NPC would offer things such as items or experience bonuses or even special temporary (or permanent) perks. The easier the goal, the less Reward Points. A possible scenario: 'Playername' has achieved the status of: "Rabid Rabbit Slayer"! (Achieved by killing 2,500 Fluffy Rabbits) You gained 75 reward points. Congratulations! or: 'Playername' has achieved the status of: "The Patient One"! (Achieved by harvesting 500,000 or more of a harvestable item) You gained 50 reward points. Congratulations! Different amounts of points could be rewarded depending on the difficulty of the task. They could also be rewarded for advances in levels. *I'm not quite sure what to put if someone were to reset...your thoughts? Thank you for your time, TalixiM

  21. Combat System Suggestions

    I would like to see a change in something other than skills and items for once. Instead of focusing on getting gc out of the game why not improve graphics or the combat system? But no let's add some pointless skills instead, that sounds more appealing. Atm I don't have any worthy ideas for a combat system but I will chat with some people ingame and think up ideas there. :/
  22. Pickaxe Breakage

    This is really starting to tick me off, iirc 11 pickaxes broken in two days and I am Skeptic. I just sat down to do more coal and 4 coal into harvesting what do you know? A broken pickaxe. 208 coal into harvesting and I break my second pick. I usually only carry two with me but now I have had to increase it to 4 so I can get a full load of coal. Anyone else with Skeptic been having an unnatural break rate?
