By far all of my best PK has been on the PK server for a number of reasons: 1. No cooldown helps A LOT (I've chugged many BRs while fighting an opponent with far higher a/d/p/c than I and made them diss) 2. Most people fight in cheap gear 3. Rostos are only $1

Grigore Ureche (NPC in EVTR) was a Romanian author. I haven't read anything by him, but I lived on Strada Grigore Ureche and asked about it once. Edit: there may also be a city of breasts or some other reference to breasts, but I could be translating that wrong, and I'm forgetting where I saw it.

I certainly would. On the PK server, I like to train one of my alts through summons, and penguins would be great exp for both characters.

.. It's a potion!? Yes, but it's also food. It does get tedious to go through all of those sections. I think adding it to food as well as potions would be helpful.

Some of us choose to be non-p2p races because we prefer the look of these. This doesn't mean we're not still paying for other items, servers, bots, etc.... I for one would be pretty upset if I had to become another race to see this map. EL is not a country club.

Roja, I see what you're looking for, but I have to say, I really think Guy's picture is fantastic. I know it's missing the stats bar, but the composition is perfect, it demonstrates community and team effort beautifully, and there is a mix of character movement demonstrated. I think it reads nicely and the character names/health bars are small enough as to not be distracting. Perhaps he has an uncropped version? Nice job, Guy!

Whole-heartedly agree. IP is newbie-friendly in game-play, and to me that is what is important. We're always being reminded that this game was not designed for children, so I agree with Ateh that having the spooky "there's more to this game than just bunnies and flower picking" element of the Wraith on IP is a good thing.

I loved the little details in the last update, and I don't know if this would be a hard one to add to the next update. Could we have an option to turn off creature names? I mean, Roja's artwork is beautiful, and sometimes I feel the word "Rabbit" hopping around sort of clutters it up.

Another way to do it might be make Alt-N multi-functional, meaning the first time turns off only creature names and the second time turns off all the names. This option could also work with Alt-B? (sorry, not logged on atm) with health bars.

I just thought it might be interesting to know where we all fall. I know some of the statements are sort of silly, so just answer by # amount rather than by statement. I honestly can't even guess what most of the answers might be.

I completely disagree. I predict that all those kids who run around bagjumping/scamming/etc...just so they can see their name on outlaws (excuse me, "disputes") will run and grab this neg for the pps and end up getting their ass blown up every time they try to harvest some lupines. Now your average joe peaceful harvester doesn't have to go complain to the nearest draegoni in full dragon about to walk into KF. He or she is free to stalk down his or her prey at liberty without fear of retribution since this isn't a PK map. No, this will breathe life into those death contraptions on more than just peace day.

That's great for screenshots, but not really practical as a regular setting. I'd still like to see player names (sorry if I wasn't clear on that).

Honestly, I'm not ready for bots yet. They're too impersonal. The greatest aspect of this server is its human element. I understand that maybe you know so-and-so is the only person selling SRs ( ), and they aren't on, and that's a pain in the ass, but there's always Gossip to send a message, market forums, and EternalBroker. I know eventually this will change, but I'd rather not rush it.

Currently we have a few rules enforced by the majority of the server. This is perfectly sufficient for the size of the server. I know that there will be some people who will break no-trade punishments, but so what? They'll still end up raising the prices and if they're discovered, there will be the natural consequences (others won't trade with them and they'll be on PK lists). Sounds about right. The fact that the highest a/d players are willing to help out those who need help is a strong enough "government" for the size of the server. A few assholes decided to blow the whole thing out of proportion. Don't listen to them. What we have is just fine.

Same for PK server? While trying to give me his character, Spirit_Legend (Verdune on the main server) changed the password. The new one isn't working now. We think he may have misspelled it or something. If it's still $5, don't worry about it (the char is too newb). As for verification, he did it at my house, so the IP should be the same as SyWren. Oh hey, look, just found this thread. Been busy elsewhere... I'm not thrilled with Rule #2 either. Personally, anything that isn't an "I'm not Mortos..." invasion should be PKable, including hide-and-seeks. The potential for PK is part of the fun of those. Now, I've never actually been PKed during a Mr.Hide contest, but I'm always ready. There should be times when people "gather" that are PK acceptable. If you don't want to PK, don't go to those gatherings. If the rest of you disagree, I'll support it of course.

You are very wrong. Pay $5 and come over here and see. This community is entirely different and until you experience it, you can't say what will or will not work.

I knew when I was writing it that I should have kept it shorter or people wouldn't read it. I'm guessing you missed the part where I said: Seriously...way out of proportion. We happily have a couple people willing to step up to a rather challenging task. They have no true powers. I hope you can see the irony there I'm not sure if I'm completely missing your point or you're completely missing mine. Just so we're very clear: Step #1: Join the server Step #2: Have an opinion about how its run I appreciate that you are trying to help us see what will attract new players and what won't, but we've been here since December and we've had countless people tell us exactly why they won't join. This is not a recruitment thread. This is an outlaws thread. Do you think most people who read the "disputes" section of EL would start playing after reading only that? The only way to judge this server and the way the community acts to come over here and play. People who read forum posts regularly should better than to judge the game by just that.
