    5 seconds/ diamond before 4 seconds/ diamond now at 63 harvest (it's harvest attempt rate, it doesn't include failures) it's nice to get anything better, but i expected much more ... infact i still do

    Thx Lyanna, i hope the things you have mentioned will get implemented, especially making fighters more dependant on makers (cutting drops of final items) and increasing xp gained from things that now take longer to make. I also understand that we can't see all the changes together. However step 1 would be much easier to bear with, if we knew that steps 2 and 3 are being planned and we had at least general ideas about what would they concern. (btw: i think it was one of Honeybee's points too) I think it would be cool if developers could play open cards with us, present their general ideas and allow discussion and suggestions from players: what do they want to achieve, how money and skills should depend on each other, etc... That would hopefuly reduce future complains significantly and help discussion about tweaking and tuning changes.

    Nice post Honeybee, i agree in 100% Lyanna: I can't understand why mass-production is so bad. In real life it's a common way to get rich. We don't have enough players to simulate RL demand, so NPCs should buy some low lvl items (like iron shields). After all players MUST have some way to earn money. If we can't sell manufactured goods to NPCs with profit then the only source of gc for players are : -monster drops (for fighters mostly) -selling raw materials to NPC (which is already poor way to earn money and with new system it will be even HARDER) Now, how could you expect someone will level up in manu/craft without money? It really take LOADS of cash to lvl up even to lvl 30 (which isn't high) - look at top 20 lists - manuers, crafters and summoners have lowest lvls. It was never easy to lvl up in those skills and it was one of the best way to drain money from the market. As for making 20-30k items of one type. Maybe it's possible with fire ess (i took part in fe project in which 5 ppl made 12k fes and that's most i know of), but with iron shields?? 40-60k steel bars, 160-240k of iron bars and 80-120k fire ess (only if you DON'T FAIL) ??? These are just insane amounts, someone would have to spend his life on it. 100 shields in one week would be pretty fast. And the impression that you earn 400gc on one shield is false. One could sell bars to Karn for 310gc + few gc from selling fire ess without RISKING failures. So one earns ~80gc on processing metals into shield, but he looses 320 when he fails. Simple calculation shows that he must fail less than 20% to make ANY profit. I didn't notice there was too much money in game. From what we experienced on the old server one of the sympthomes would be dramatic increase of prices especially for low/medium lvl items. I didn't notice anything like that

  12. Leeloo: with previous system i could get 120 diamonds in 3-4 minutes. Now it takes me around half an hour. What do you think: whould i rather go afk for that time now or before? the longer it takes to perform action the more it tempts players to use macro to do it for them and not wast their time I try to explain that for XXX time. all latest improvements hit honest players and encourage macroing (altough making it harder probably). I doubt if you can make system that will be in 100% immune for macroers. But if you will make it, it will surely be 100% immune to human players

[sarcasm] Maybe cyclopes and ogres should spawn once / half an hour to stop it? Maybe we should introduce Male and Female Ogres and make they spawn only when such couple meets somewhere on the map?   15. Why? I don't understand why it would be so good I got 4,2 million harv xp and diamonds are lvl 40 (913k xp). Isn't mine 3,3 million additional xp enough to speed it up to 1 second?   18. What Is Up W/harvesting?

    EXACTLY Things seem to get more and more complicated for non-fighters with every update. Sad ... If things continue to go in this way, EL will end up with population of all fighters at the average age of 12. Harvesting is too slow - it took me 25 minutes to harvest 120 diamonds at lvl 62 harv (without teleports luckily). My friend (less lucky) spent 20 minutes on mining 60 emeralds It's almost impossible to lvl up manu now - how can manuer get money for leather pants ingreds if he can't even sell iron shields ? Ah, and it takes 10 seconds to make pants to make it easier.

Leeloo - there is alot of mindless clicking now, i agree, but it does require to watch the screen. The new system would add more mindless clicking ( interaction with scree? heat drops below desired lvl - u click something is just like food drops - u click on food ). It would make it more complicated and boring to manuers (at least major part of them that i know .... ummm all except ogerawa ?) and encourage ppl to use macros If you don't want manu to involve lot of mindless clicking, make it so single weapon takes much more ingreds and/or tools to make (= much more time and attention of player) but gives ALOT more xp (1000 for steel shield, 5000 for serp for example) This game is oriented on fighters atm. It's easier to fight than make. You're not bothered with harvesting, making various components from raw materials (dealing with failure rate), making final items ( failure rate again ), walking back and forth to mines, storages, Baostas ... (with your smaller-than fighters-have load).You can stop training at any time without loosing stuff in bag. You don't have to care about new harvest hours. You can get weapons, armors, books and cash from monsters (when i was fighter before stats wipe out i was earning more money from monster drops [7-20gc per ogre] that i could spend). If you put some effort in lvling alch and potions to ~30 lvl you are basicaly self-sufficient. Given those facts it's nothing unusual that majority of players shooses way of fighter. And it's nothing unusual that they like ideas of complicating makers lifes. I'd like to know how many of those ppl who posted here that they like Roja's idea are actually manuers ... As someone said here, makers must be more important and needed to have real fun from playing. Monsters should drop books (sorry Lynn) and serp stones, but not weapons and armor. this way fighters would have to rely on makers as makers already rely on fighters

    I found a different bug related to sulphur, but i don't want to make too much mess with adding new topic, so i'll post it here for now. i'll make new topic if i don't get devs attention though I came to Morcraven Cave straight from Garg Cave to help my friends to make fire ess. After harvesting diamonds i still had my pickaxe equiped. Knowing that i don't need it to mine sulphur, i didn't bother to take it off. But then, to my great astonishment it broke ! Wtf? I don't think that "breaking pickaxe" event should be asigned to resource that doesn't require pickaxe to harv it
