If money's a problem sell novelty stuff or etc from the shop. I'm not a game owner and I don't have the exacts on it all and such but why not assign a dedicated team/person to develop changes for the skill in question? Sorry to say this but the not so recent change to ice dragon armor.. you changed the wrong thing. It wasn't the magic protection or etc people were complaining about, it was the high armor. it's only a few armor up from titanium and what not but with the might:toughness:armor ratio, combat inside PK is quite boring, a battle of the hes/srs so to speak. There is many things you can do to change this, but the player base doesn't like change so I see where your coming from worried about your income and what not, but can I ask you one thing? Please start playing your game, level some skills instead of making changes from feedback of other players. Go out and PK, experience what we experience and make changes according to what you see in front of you. Idk if you're too busy irl for this or worried about making an income but even if you just give a char some levels and items and go out and experience the game from the players POV I think even that could make a big change to the way you see your game and then how you develop it.

Stop trying to "solve" what can't be solved. @ateh: the ratio came from people that bought items from players in game. GC was getting sold for a year+ at 4k:1$ when rosto's were 15k so don't try and act like it's actually making a difference. If people expect $->GC rates for their goods that's their decision. Radu made it harder for people to farm, look what happened. GC:$ rates went up from 4k-5k->1$ to 8k->1$. It's a lost cause.

this, along with other stuff won't be changed. best stop trying. remove the ability to be able to get ahead with $ and the game economy will be fine. you can't track $. heaps of people break rule 5 using $ as the middleman and even though the mods know who does it, they can't "track" the $ so they can get away with it. $ is the main problem. there is other obvious problems in the game play such as the attributes/armors/weapons combo, but it looks like they won't be changed. (the ice dragon armor was changed and removed some of the resistances when they weren't even the problem, the problem was the armor-toughness ratio with the weapons. It's rendered black dragon torso better than ice dragon). You need to remember radu needs to make a living off the game, and that makes your perspective 10x different. What I'm swaying towards is that the game needs developers who actually practice that skill/sport. i.e a PKer for PK related changes. people who know what they are doing, watching people PK and PKing yourself are 2 totally different things.

lol'd holar is a sneaky bastage and the people following him have to be brain dead. gg infa, but sad thing is the game atm hasn't had a bright future for a long time and this along with other factors won't be stopped so no point as the main fucking problem with this game is the involvement of $, and when the development of the game revolves around the game creator making his ends meat from it, it can never truly be "changed" as he needs to change the game in a way that he'll make enough $.

Yes, the ammount of evidence of ignobel economy prize keep adding up... Of course you can still apply economics to virtual worlds, here is a start. In the short run, it'll help for the first few weeks/months. In the end, another waste of time. It's gotta swing one way or another, Figure out how to STOP Black Market COMPLETELY or don't bother at all. The game has had more then enough half-cocked suggestions and look where they've situated.
