Not sure if anyone else had this problem or it was posted, but thought I would post it as it took me an hour of research to correct it... If you cannot leave IP or cannot enter the tavern in IP, check your server port and ensure it is set to 2002 for test server. One of the installers I used was defaulted to 2000.

I got hit twice... Once with mostly carry items about 3-4 days ago... damaged tit chain, axe many diss rings... Then storage items within the past 48 hours... 21+ EFEs about 12 serp stones 2or3 EWE 3 ELE Tit axe (maybe 2) tit chains (forget how many total) gold coins - alot but not sure how much ros stone all my capes - ps, excavator, ?? tit serps (at least 1) I forget the rest - sent it to lord_vermor all in all about 12/13 slots in storage in the past few days. Got me good! Deadhead Kudos to the team for quick reaction to the exploit. This could have been much worse.

Haven't been on too much in the past week or so and now am missing 21 EFE's, 12 Serp stones, 1 ros stone, and additional items from my storage. Never gave password to anyone and still have decent items that I would expect would be gone too, if I was hacked. Any insight appreciated... Went through server reset and now this??? Even donated real money to the game! Help before I bail. I have put alot of time into my char and really like the game, but enough is enough. Thanks in advance Deadhead

I had a similar problem long ago, but can't remember if it was EL or another online game (actually, I believe it was Americas Army). Anyways, I couldn't create a character and I never recieved an error message. The resolution turned out to be that my security settings in IE needed to be modified. Sorry, I don't remember exact details, but just thought I would offer a suggestion as the problem pissed me off for weeks.

Anyone going to post what the book was? Instead of bickering about how the offers came in, I think it would be better to post the book and enstill trust wih all of us. Are you planning on doing another blind auction in the near future? I may be interested seeing as your last winner seemed happy and I have learned to bid in gold coins instead of cash. lol
