  1. Is there also a bonus to a/d experience gain since the monsters has a bonus to theirs?

Yes, this day seems to work similar to scholars day, so a/d-increase is measured in %.

Today we had ~7% a/d increase (measured on dchim, which gave increased xp like it had

    107/107 a/d instead of 100/100 a/d - similar with fluff 101/101 instead of 95/95).

I've later discovered, that stronger monsters stay until killed even if the day passed. I got lions for daily quest and first one gave significantly more experience than the rest. Since it was right after the day has ended, I can only assume, the a/d entity bonus stays with the entity until it's killed even after day has ended.

  2. "That explains your "i am a superstar" in 6 and "there are winners and losers".

Tbh, you are just an attention seeker. An unfortunate guy which wants to have attention but are not really good at anything, so just try to be an ass to have the spotlights on you."

WOOW you understand, now stop trying to piss me off and leave me alone

People will leave you alone, when you leave THEM alone and not bugger them :) Is that too hard logic for you? :) If you want to play the bad guy, you should really be able to withstand the insults and negative attention. If you're not up to it, better lie low and don't make too much fuss :P

  3. No, its not the same thing Gordalf.

You can defend yourself from being pked. You aren't even required to be there. Even if you was there and died, there is a way to stop NH to get your items, namely rostogol stone.

Its really stupid to compare normal pk action, and bagjumping.

EDIT: My point is: in NH's case it was your fault. All yours. Maxine could not do much to prevent Morath's bagjump. And no, i am no friend of Newhope and attack him on pk maps.

Ok: 1.:It was DPA no drop ... so no rosto

2.:Did i knew someone would wait there to kill me and take my stuff? was my first time and i was n00b ... even if it would have been fair action i hadnt carried a rosto coz i didnt knew what this is at this moment

3.: i went there to train ... no clue to newhope

4.: I didnt compare newhope with bagjumping, i answered to players who spoil fun ... and btw he bjs himself

5.: "Maxine could not do much to prevent Morath's bagjump." could i do something with newhope??

I think u forgot what being a n00b is ... and it was the first time there ... + that "trick" to get drops on no drop arena, that newbs definately cant know

Was it my fault that Newhope uses "tricks" (to not to say "bugs") to get drops, that he is that a unfair guy?

Wait a sec, no drop and you lost stuff? How come. And one more thing, you can always defend in PK, for example hiring a bodyguard, avoid going there, carry a rosto. You HAD a choice, Maxine didn't. If you die in PK, it's your fault and yours only, this is totally different as Maxine could not prevent this from happening in any way, whilst you could have...

  4. Combination of damage counter (we have that in gatherer medallion)

It may be more coding than it appears though. We know damage can be tracked for a melee combat session, but damage from mines/ranging/etc. doesn't have a 'session' in the same fashion, well, i doubt it does.

Well, I'm not a programmer, so I can only come up with "common sense logic" :) But since every mine has a flag of who put it (engineering level based damage), it only needs to mark if that particular mine/caltrop/heap of dung really did damage to Neno, no?

  5. For a programmatic solution, you use the most feasible; damage counter.

Or, in the case of the Neno, Radu could just be like "no one is allowed to 'bagjump' the Neno drop bag". I know Radu himself brought up the idea of exceptions to the usual rules for the Neno... i'd rather the game engine provide the solution, but whatever.

Combination of damage counter (we have that in gatherer medallion) and automatic picking up of drops (again in gatherer medallion). That could be applied to Neno, that who placed the most mines, which have hurt Neno will automatically get a drop inside his inventory, when the Nenorocit is in certain range of him (so if he logs off, leave the map or whatever else, he is out of the game). If that person is not available for this, either a standart drop bag could appear or there could be like three counters for three most damageful sappers hurting Neno or whatever else...

  6. Well, what good is to jump day stone for anyway? I mean, it doesn't matter, who uses it, everyone gets the benefit of it... And I don't like to make more hurdles for ordinary players just because some jerk makes a bad move (speaking in general, if you control something too much, only the law-abiding will usually get punished for that, villains always gets through no matter what sanctions are in the progress...)

Neno also drops 50k gc's which the hunting team really like to have to help pay for all the supplies in the hunt.

The stone (as long as it is not already a special day) gets used automaticly upon the monsters death.

One non-restrictive thing could be done about that. Under e.g. 200 HP, Neno will become attackable as usual monster, that way, you can use gatherer and finish him the usual close combat way. You would still need to use sappery tactics to get him down to 200 HP, yet the part of finishing him without engagement in combat would be gone... I know, this could be abused as usual, but if you make Neno as strong as Trice or Yeti, that could eliminate many troublemakers IMO...

  8. I would like to see this discount from the Crafting god priest. As we know we can get maximum 4 rank worship level instead of 5 at other gods. We should have a 5th rank here too, and at rank 5 the priest would sell you in bulk gem sanders.

Very good idea. This way, it would only go to those really devoted to crafting skill (so I coulnd't use it :D)...

  9. Poll options are too limited, i did not vote.

Can we just stop the 'fighter vs mixer vs harvester' crap, please? We're all free to do as we please, but going for one extreme means you have to sacrifice something else, well unless you have unlimited funds and can buy all your attributes and nexus with hydro, then you can simply do everything you want to do. In addition: far from everyone is 'just' a fighter, or 'just' a mixer. there are top fighter characters that have all the skill levels to make the so called zomfg evil profit a mixer makes. Any mixer is free to level their a/d, or their ranging level, as is any harvester.

There are very few pureblooded mixers IMO. I think that every mixer has to be a warrior to a certain degree. I consider myself more a mixer, yet my greatest levels are attack and defense. Why? Because it's the fastest way to raise your OA (you can carry more, mix more, have more nexi...). So IMO great part of the mixers can go on the instance as well (not WFT one particulary, but you get the point), I know I have been to 50+ so far :)

  10. Voted: As a mixer, I'll support this idea!

But only if the mixers get a cut (no matter how big) of whatever the fighters win.. Cause it is also some mixer's money they're using to get the loot...

If I get this idea right, the reward for the mixers (myself included) would be the special day stone from the instance. I don't know how about you, but for me, one more Joule stone is a bliss, I don't need another cut from the gold drops there :)

  11. I think the real issue here is 'respect', which YARR is clearly lacking. It sucks not everyone can be a clean and honest player. Would make this game 10x better than it already is.

You need to see bad people in order to differentiate from the good people. Without comparision, how would you know, they are respectable? Good and evil - there is none without the other :)

  12. Does anyone know a good spawn with unarmed skeletons and nothing stronger in it? After the chims moved in there, I can't think of any to tell the newbs about. All C1 spawns that I know of also have armed skeletons.

Does anyone think it might improve things if a larger area around the tree trunks was not walkable? (perhaps this should be a different topic, but I didn't feel like making a fresh one and trees being an issue mentioned here)

Low level mobs such as skeletons are easily substituted by gargoyles, male goblins or even large spider to a certain degree. FWIW I think gargs are far better mobs to train than skeletons...

  13. A new player will train skeletons for what? 2 hours before they can move up. A player at 115 a/d might be stuck on fchims til 130a/d depending on their build. Many 100's of hours of trainning. I think your beating a dead horse here.

Wizzy, this just shows you are too pro to remember what it is like to be newb. It will take them more than just a couple hours.

Anyways, I guess nobody thought it was a good idea to have the forest chim out in the woods even if you added a third, so we might as well drop that idea.

I wish you high level fighters luck filling in your over-active training gaps.

I guess I am just that pro, and thanks for the good wishes, Part of asking for fchim spawns in a cave, is to avoid the dam trees and runaway spawns. And between goblins, spiders and gargs, really one or two a/d levels makes a big difference, yes I will still stand here and say a person will be stuck on forest chims a Heck of a lot longer then a newb on skeletons.

100% agreed. It can take one week to move from a/d 20 to a/d 40, but it does not take even dozens of week to move from 110 to 130... There are plenty of places for newbies to train, but there are not that much places for high-leveled players to train...

  14. Even if noobs do go there to train on skells they can probably still do it fairly safely seeing as the chims are most likely going to be kept busy by higher lvl trainers. Its just like being able to use the cycs in bethel on tzu because you can almost be sure every dcw spawn will be taken and not wandering around much to kill you.

You can also train on skeletons in more like 10 other places, while on FCW, you can't, so I think we are all talking about something, which is completely not neccesary to talk about in the first place :)

  15. sorry can anybody explain, rationally why you would simply loose the book if you chose to stop reading it for awhile?

wouldnt the penalty of not being able to start another book until you finish that one be better?

why the lust for ridiculously over weighted punishment for something as simple as reading a book and wanting to stop?

I dont understand , other than for some reason people in EL expect some sever punishment now and again lol

First of all, the book has already been removed from your inventory when you start reading, that means to return the book it must be recreated.

Secondly, on fast reading days it would be abused by constantly starting/stopping reading until you get it instantly.

Third, to make people actually think in game about the consequences of their actions and to think ahead a little bit.

    Fourth ...

Add a 1-6h cooldown on stopping/re-reading the book and you cannot abuse "print day".

Considering how the current cooldowns are implement do you really want something with a 1hr-6hr cooldown? If you want to have a chance of implementing, the solution needs to be simple or it won't be worth the time to add!

You could use "daily NPC algorhytm" - you would need to visit NPC to stop/restart reading (could also implement some kgc fee) and that NPC would not allow you to stop/restart a book until next game day. It's all here, no need to add anything new IMO...
