    So I am sure you all know those incessantly annoying people that spam your screen with the same lines over and over and over again... Its even worse when they have a repeated typo so heres one of those and my response to them...

     

    Random Newb- Anybody have a wampon i can have

    Random Newb- I need a wampon

    Random Newb- Wampon please

    London- Wampon? Oo is that like an absorbant cotton numchuck?

     

    I typed it and pressed enter before i even knew what was happening. The responses around beam were... lets say varied :)

    It is so easy for us to point out the bad... I got bag jumped or scammed, or i lost my brand new col pking boohoo... Its nice to see someoen pointing out the good. Kudos Mora and Kudos yndiana :icon13:

    I was rather angry about this one... First tankel ruined my shiny new iron greeves that I had gotten as a Birthday gift... and When Bubba offered to replace them in return for helping him buy thread (antisocial) Hody hopped on the bag as bubba and I were trading off... He got all my food, A bunch of health and magic essences, several srs and The Beautiful Shiny New Iron Greeves that Bubba was helping me replace ;) I tried to ask for them back, but he would not respond. Watch out for this one... Hes quick... so if hes around DONT LEAVE YOUR BAG!

    It is quite easy to point out the negative...

    We have a forum section specifically for outlaws, but what about the people in this world we belong to that go out of there way to be kind to others. People that put there time and materials on the line to help others. We talk about Bag Jumpers and scammers. But we do not talk about the people that return and guard our death bags and other items. We do not talk about the people that are generous and give more than they recieve.

    Certain people will do anything for attention. If we focus our attention on the bad, it is only logical that attention seekers will do bad deeds to recieve the thing they desire... attention... all be it negative attention. I understand the need for an outlaws section. It is great to hear other players opinions and responses to scams threats bag jumping etc... not only does it give us as players a heads up on who to watch out for, but I have seen several threads where misunderstandings have been cleared up, and friends have been made in the process. However Would it not be a nice thing to point out the good as well. I have met many wonderful people in this game who are willing to help in your time of need. They will drop what they are doing to come to your rescue. They will help you aquie materials when you yourself dont have the ability or knowledge to do it yourself. By pointing out the good we focus some of our attention on the positive instead of the negative. Dont give outlaws the attention they crave and maybe some of them will see that you can get just as far in this game by focusing your energy on helping others, instead of hindering the progress that people have made.

    Obviously we will always have scammers and bag jumpers and generally rude players. But I personally would really like to see a thread on the good people. The underdogs that dont get the attention they deserve because all of our attentions are focused ont he negative.

    So if you know someone that is worthy of praise, I say post it here. Give people what they deserve. A positive for a positive and so on and so forth...

    nice...she hsould re-design her site tho

     

    She has a gentleman helping her with the site... she has control over the content, but not the layout or anything else for that matter lol. He is paying for the site for her so its basically under his control :P but yeah suggestions are welcome, but the artwork is the focal point. and I think its amazing... if you look closely you can see alot of details and what not in it, hidden messages and pictures... everyone sees something different... its pretty rad B)

    I heard alot of people saying that they didnt have keys for the bag... maybe next time announce it in game a bit earlier... so as to give people a chance to get a key if they dont already have one *shrug* maybe :)

     

     

    was great fun though :P
