There is a safe way to AFK in any PK situation, just log out. Of course there's no guarantee you'll log in safely, but it's better than walking away from the computer for a half-hour while Harvesting.

My vote is for no change at all.

There should a few changes as possible from the normal game if for no other reason than keeping it simple for Entropy to set up and us to deal with! Over time lots of adjustments will probably have to be made anyway, and I don't think anyone can predict how the PK server will operate. It will completely depend on our behavior once we work with. It's a lot of fun to speculate, but the sooner it gets going without a ton of changes, the better for everyone I believe. In the normal game, I pile on the negs with a new character and reset at least once getting rid of them. I'd like to do the same in PK, but probably with adjustments.

One funny thing for me is the new PK server. I am completely fascinated by it and I am as far from a PK'er that a player can get. There's something just compelling about it for me ( arfin' midlife crisis, probably ) and I've noticed other non-PK'ers interested as well. I have no explanation for it! A new server isn't necessarily an 'update', but it's an addition to EL, that I expected to not be interested in. Guess I'm stuck on EL.... How many Picky-Points can I buy for 1500 shares of Google? If um.... such a thing...

I apologize for flogging a dead unicorn... so to speak.. but it has now been a full month that VixeyRose has not logged into EL. I am her only guildie, and for better or bad jokes I wear the tag proudly. My original search for her (or him?) began with this post: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37260 That which I'd rather not bring up again, other than I've lost a friend and am stuck alone with a guild and not high enough of a level to create a guild she was trying for.... If anyone, possibly CEL members, know anything of VixeyRose outside of EL, help me find my guild mistress! In the current meantime, I am holding the R@SE tag and would like to make something of it in her name unless totally convinced otherwise. Hey! It's a quest, for a friend I only knew for three weeks, and looks like a bunch of pixels..... Hell, Frodo was messing with jewelry.... I'm not upset like my posts sound, just not used to web collaborations, and have no idea what to do with an empty guild! Maybe I could quest out and be boss of R@SE.... maybe I should drop the whole thing.... I like the quest part best!

Lol Thanks, gang! I won't bring it up again till six months goes by! As far as the guild goes, I'm fine as is. I'm not a big joiner, and it took a good while for me to join R@SE, so I'll keep it! Maybe I can make something with it someday.....

My true opinion is no rostos at all! However, the higher price the better. I'm fine with the same updates as on 2000 server, but if there are any that may change the PK situation, maybe they should be discussed first. Cooldown I voted for the same as 2000. No worries there. In the long run it seems the fewer differences from the main game, the better. Things will probably have to be adjusted over time anyway, may as well begin with familiar rules and go on from there. And I've got dibs on the name "Piggy!"

Um... is the question here how many countries do not allow cash to be sent by mail, or how many countries open your mail to find out! After using eBay for some time, I have seen these kind of restrictions. However, what is in the package is still known only to the sender and receiver. Unless you are mailing something potentially harmful, there should be very little to worry about. Plus there are services like Western Union in every country. Maybe barter would work... Entropy might just accept $5 worth of Belgian chocolate in trade, I know I would!

Vote, folks vote! Good, bad, or ugly! The players willing to try this are stuck at 68, everyone else has nothing to lose... and there are a lot more than the 200 who have not voted! This is a good example of why.... OK, no politics. Think of it this way: It is a valid experiment, five bucks is diddly (and getting squatter,) we never lose the real game, those who get bored with lilacs have a chance at pwnhood! Lots o' reasons, there no reason to argue over the idea, and Entropy's original concept makes great sense to start with.... then we can smother him with suggestions.... Let's try it!
