Slavia, the first one was hard, but the second one was too easy! I was thinking of an old movie from the 1940's! In honor of Halloween: A real easy one!

Aaaaanndd..... next year.... How about them Cubbies!! J/K

I dunno.... it's just not meant for Dwarves!

Ryan and Tatum... Paper Moon! I'd never have thought that from the first photo!

That's a good point. Tailoring changes the whole issue, if the same accessories that are bought can be made in-game. Still, Sygon's complaint began before tailoring was being generally discussed.

Instinct Removal Stone in PV, southwest tree mushrooms.

Peino, I thought you were an artist! Fantastic story, once I started reading I actually had to log out of EL. That says a lot! When's the movie coming out? ~ Mugs

Hear, hear, Shuj! That's my point on the docks, city gates, etc. Why bother waiting for cheap kills? Train up to get the big guys (and their stuff!)

Considering the original clothing we choose can't be changed.... and never breaks.... why not the same with vanity accessories that cost money? As has been said, it isn't armor or helpful in any way. Armor can be bought with cash, which has the risk of breaking, and can be bought in-game. Maybe the Vanity items should be exclusive to the store only and non-transferable in the game itself. More players will spend the cash knowing that is the situation. Role players who know they die with their tiara or crown and keep it will be happier and more likely to buy the items. Um, not to be rude but.... what would it cost to be truly nekkid? That's how I play EL in warm weather.... After all, the shirts, pants, boots that we choose with character creation never break. So why not skin color all over? *Ahem* ... with the current bodily details, no enhancements, of course! Meanwhile... Roja! Where is that thong I asked for? That's the one and only accessory I'll pay cash for!

Hey, I'm the one who wants no modifications at all! Probably also will be the one who get PK'ed the most!! Seems city areas being safe so trade can go on is reasonable, but then there will be lurkers at the gates just like at the docks. Who knows, maybe players will hire themselves out as bounty hunters, mercenaries, or bodyguards.... maybe I'll start the "Blackwater Guild" and call myself Prince!* It already takes place in RL.... Learner, that's great! I was wondering if someone would post that "Noob" page!! It's just like the PK forum categories!! *JFYI Blackwater is one of the American private companies in Iraq protecting VIP's. Many bloodthirsty stories about them. The CEO is named Prince. Blackwater USA (clicky)

I agree with Sygon, these items really have no other use than looks so they should be permanent. Also keeping them breakable might frighten away some cash customers!

How about the town of Lakeside including the docks be kept safe? Also I do recall some invasions, Giants in Idaloran Cemetery where we were all pinned in the Underworld. If we rushed the door at once, some players would make it out. In this case, the only thing of any value to leave IP is the Newbie armor. There really isn't any reason to bring valuables there just to leave again with them.

It's curtains for you, copper! See?

I might be flogging a dead horse here, but honestly.... who of all of us will waste their time even near the docks waiting to pwn players that do not provide a challenge? Show me some hands, you lazy PK freaks! Let's see a count of time wasters who would do that! You already know the rest of us are going to pound you to piles of pickles with the levels we earned from not hanging around the docks! There is no good reason to waste time picking on newbies unless you intend to be picked on yourself! Grumphfff.... Edit: Scarr, I mean "newbies" as all of us on our first visit to the mainland. I'm assuming we begin the PK server as we first logged into EL. No matter what we already know, we still will be "newbies," levelless maggots poking at each other with bones and branches.... That's my point, why bother? Get some EXP first.

Um... I'm losing some context here! Questions: How quickly are we going to reach levels high enough to do major damage to each other? How many 'goodies' can we buy from the store to beat everyone else down with our cash, not our smarts? How soon will the first guilds be created? Why are high level armor and weapons being discussed before we even meet the Wraith naked and start out? Who will create rules in a world without any? And who will obey them? I've got no problem with a pack of newbs with ebul names trying to strangle each other at the White Stone docks, but it seems like that will be what happens after the first few hours! I know I'll be heading away from that situation as fast as I can, then go leveling. A lot about the PK server involves cooperation between players. That's hard to explain, but it will become evident fairly quickly I think. The opportunity for us to go rushing at each other, no holds barred, will teach many lessons and create many interesting situations! Heh, heh, the Evil Finger of Pointy is in your direction, Mr. Wise Guy! I have a feeling we will all survive the PK server for years to come, newbies and pros alike....... I got 5 gc on it!

I'd think that would be a novelty that would wear off really quick. I know I wouldn't waste any time PK'ing newbies, the only "prize" is tutorial armor..... frankly I'd rather harvest mullein for a living! It might be worthwhile to move Trik to WSC or elsewhere to avoid that kind of temptation, but I think anyone PK'ing at the docks really needs a life!

Keep C2!! There are only a dozen or so maps on Seridia, that will just be a chase fest. May as well just have one big arena and go at it! I need lots of space to get lost in so I can level up, and I'm sure others will want the same. It might just be me, but I believe the excitement of a PK server is not just bashing heads but also surviving the head bashing! I remind you of Piggy from 'Lord of the Flies'..... heh, heh!

Don't worry! Lotsa Lynx Left!

Ayup! How about Robinson Crusoe?

Here are a few fun sites to play with for finding music: http://www.songtapper.com/ http://www.midomi.com/index.php http://www.wildbits.com/tunatic/ To be honest, they don't work very well but they're fun! The last one I didn't try, though. It looks like there are plenty more like this out there, too.

You should be able to order them from a local florist, they can get anything they want shipped from overseas. For a small amount of flowers you will have to go through a middleman anyway, unless you can find a grower in your area. Try checking for greenhouses and growers in your area and ask them for advice by phone, they must have connections. Then again, there are really fantastic looking artificial flowers available too...

"The Amazing Adventures of IPB Image and the Lost Temple of Servers" ~ I know I'm out of turn, but just in case there's a wait..... I think it really is Chaoogie's turn so this doesn't really count.
