I can confirm Detraks post. I had just entered NC store when I saw his death message and immediatly pmed him. He pmed back and let me know Flecha had his bag and I suggested I took over to watch it for him (what else are friends for right?). As you can see from the log DT posted he did just that. Heaven from Just was also present and asked Flecha if he was saving the DB for Detrak. At that point, having PMed him and gotten no response, I made it known in local that I was waiting to collect the bag and initiated trade with Flecha. Flecha had at this point picked up the bag and wandered around store for a few moments before leaving. I pmed him once more...again with no response and on the next attempt he had logged off. Please guys be very careful around him! Wolfy

Hi Guys, I suspect this may be an ISP issue but wanted to run it by you Techno Wizards before I call my ISP and shout. I play EL on 2 machines at home, laptop and main PC....both have played the game fine since I started playing 12 months ago and no recent upgrades to the hardware. The problem I am having is that some days I just cannot connect to the EL server...I get the "cannot connect to server...press any key to try again or alt-x to close the game" message. Some days it lasts a few hours others I cannot connect the whole day. I have the most recent graphics card drivers...I have configured the fire wall to trust EL and port 2000 since the strange thing is that I CAN get onto the test server. I have rebooted all equipment, by passed the router and pluged the modem direct to the PC and laptop and I can access other online games. I have made sure I have no virus' adware or spyware on my machines since I figured this may block it and I have even reinstalled the game on the PC in case I had courrpted files somehow (not that I play with them I was just trying to cover all bases). To be honest I am not sure what else to try....hence the post....any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks for you time WolWitch

Hi again all. OK thanks for all the ideas I tried them all (hubby is on the trace idea to see if the signil is being blocked part way to the server). The strange thing is, I put everything on my system back the way it was and at 8 pm GMT last night I could connect to the server (had not tried since 5pm). Now the last time I was locked out all day was Friday and I did not attempt to connect in the evening....worked fine ALL weekend...would not work yesterday till evening and is working this am (7.30 am ohhh thank you Daughter Mummy SO loves an early start). Having by passed the router, firewall and antiviris on both comps effected and talking to Hubby about this we are drawing the conclusion either: Someone already using EL is doing something dodgy or as learner said some trojan is using the same port, and the routers firewall is blocking me and sending information to the isp to do the same (not very likely). Maintainance work going on on the ISP side is effecting access to the EL server (this would also explain why its effected some days and not others and why weekends and evenings are not/less effected). I will need hubby to do the trace to proove that one. I don't really know what to tell you except today I can get in game and none of the usual test (thanks again guys) have solved this. It may be something I have to live with......or I may well be changing isp if this carries on. It's either that or I have to get a life *shudders* been there, tried that.....no portal rooms I had to WALK!!! Thanks againg for trying to help me with this. Wolfy

That seems like a yes to me......worst case scenario is that we DO loose the perk completely and with no cape and I get richer selling the bars I made in the hopes Ent does not change his mind ) Have to look on the bright side Wolfy Edit coz I messed the quote thing up

And once again the mentality of the masses spoils what i consider to be one of the best perks in the game. I know the wraith says it doubles the chance but you know I never really kept track of the % of things I produced with this perk, I just know its a hell of a lot higher than those produced without it. I recently reset and one of the first things I did was retake the perk and it showed its benifits immediatly. Thank you Ent for at least allowing those of us who LIKE the perk to have a cape in replacement, after the constant and mindless repetition of the same complaint I am not sure I would be so considerate. *runs and starts making hydro bars to increase whichever nexus I will need for the cape* Now i just need to find someone who whats to sell it BTW any chance of making it pale purple?? *g* Wolfy

A guild Storage bot cannot be in the range of any storage. PURE are looking for a guild storage bot and I too thought that it would be acceptable, unfortunatly it is not the case. If I understand it correctly: Guild Store Chars must be declared and registered as a bot ($20 a year) The are not allowed to be in the range of any store so level up well or pay for a Blessed Bot As they are paid they can move to storage twice a week for the purpose of depositing items and removing items from store but I do not advise you try and trade there as I am certain this is against the rules. Guild Storage chars cannot sell to players as this would put them in the commercial/trade bot catagory They have to follow all other bot rules (no leveling, not near harvables etc) that can be found on this forum. Please feel free to delete/edit/comment if any of this is wrong. ***PLEASE NOTE*** These are the conclusions I have come to after reading all threads and chatting to a few other people who understand bots well they have not come from the mods/admins Wolfy

I officially give up on this one my brain hurts lol. Ok when i first got the clue i checked alot of spots on bethel, my gut tells me it is in the searing sands in Sedi but this is only instinct. I have checked across the name of searing sands using both the official map and the rangers map, I have checked under the archway in the rocks, around the tree that is half sunken in the grounds, in the patch of quicksand on the way to the cave and in a straight line from rock to path ABOVE the searing sands name on rangers map ( i really should record co-ords :S) Good luck on this one guys Wolfy

Not that hard (a shock for one of Ents clues they normally fry my brain) Dictionary def of Confluence: 1. a flowing together of two or more streams, rivers, or the like: the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. I simply checked all maps that had rivers to see where they join, disregarded maps already used (for the time being) and decided to check them one by one. I was very lucky to be in PL tit mine while compiling the list and checked PL first............a lot of good luck and of course a small amount of judgement

I can see why many would jump at this chance, esp the pkers but I see several Issues with this: 1. As has previously mentioned potioners, alchemists etc would stand no chance at all of defending themselves and you would then get 100% aggressive guilds. 2. This may have a negetive impact on raising any other skills as as soon as an enemy sees you out of armour and with no weapon you are as good as dead. 3. I love the style of the game now and to allow enemy attacks on any map may reduce its enjoyment factor for many as everywhere you go there will be "bar room brawls" I can however see how many of the top pk guilds will enjoy the freedom to kick a$$ with no restirctions and it may well make going for hydro ore and mercury safer for lower level players as pk maps may well not be as populated. Personally I will not use this feature as I would like my guildies to be safe to harvest and raise skills without fear of attack.
