You can do that by either clicking on 3D then new (which gives them in a list, no pic) or shortcut with Ctrl-b (select the catagory you want to view the tumbnails). There is also a great manual posted on the forums with all the info you should need in it Wolfy

Roja addressed this with the release candidate: known issues Its out of the programmers control since the bridge is a 3d object and not a ground tile, personally it makes me giggle. Wolfy

I have made this mistake myself in the past (fortunatly on test server), luckily I realized what I have done and fixed it immediatly. Not so easy to spot if you dont know the map has changed. If you are using Windows, try sorting icons by type, that way you will seperate your .bmp from your .elm in the list and are less likely to copy over the wrong data. Wolfy

hmmmmm since I am new to PK this topic made me think about my reasons. For me, I always thought PK was ebul...you were all just nasty people who had nothing better to do. I guess that opinion came from my first guild, the many lovely people I met there and thier pk policy. Then *R* happened . As our (the guild) friendship with *R* grew we got to know the pkers on a personal level, they were great guys and explained thier choice to pk in detail, not just a "hahah coz I want to NOOB". At that point we started KF fun on no drops day and had a huge amount of fun...I got to know Blee, PKG, Die! and S&S and thier attitude towards PK impressed me. So we took the plunge and thank you to those fighters that helped us with tips we still die but not so often *g* So now, PK is for fun, YES if a friend attacked me I would take it personally (unless its no drops then we dont care ) friends are meant to have your back not stab it I happily attack people with double my a/d to help a friend/ally and really don't care if I die, loose pk points whatever. Its all about the fun. The prep and planning makes it even more fun, planning stratergies when you are in a group etc. And to be honest I enjoy a group on group fight over a one on one anyday. Its faster, you have to change stratergy part way through, one second to late on casting magic immunity can change the entire fight etc. And if you can walk away from the fight with a "nice one" or a "great fight, thanks" then even better. And funny little ig's JOKING about dying add to the fun IMO, never bitch about dying if you in pk but most guilds are happy to get joking messages iged after death. the "hahaha you died...NOOB" I am pretty sure they can live without though Wolfy

Judging by all the f*** you comments etc the Mods have to listen to, I would have to say NO its not obvious. These guys put in a lot of work and effort to make our game play more enjoyable, saying thanks now and then is not sucking up, its recognition for a job well done. And with the stress of the update they need all the encouragment they can get. Roja KNOW her artwork is good, but I doubt she would spend hours and hours making new clothes etc if people did not post thier thanks. *drinks 3rd cup of coffee at 9.20am* OMG how much fun did I have, did not get to bed untill 2.30am because I did not want to miss all the fun!!! Everyone was working together as a team regardless of tag colour/pk status and it really made the whole thing a very enjoyable experience After clearning MM of as many monsters as we could find, we all re-grouped and waited for the next wave: Hard to tell from the pic but there were at least 25-30 people there. We even managed a quick version of the conga Bethel....EEEEKS...HOW many giants?? Did that stop us?? HELL NO. Run in....attack one that a higher level fighter is attacking....fire off 5 restores in about 45 seconds....no more mana..DEAD.. *rinse and repeat*. I think I died about 80 times hard to tell exactly since I switched comps part way through. It worked though kinda *g* The idea was to take the damage for the higher level fighters so that they could cause more damage...so thank you to all those brave lower a/d players I was happy to die along side you Then I took a break and went to KF for 30 mins...kitted up and joined the mages on the rocks (fantasitc idea whoever came up with that one!!) From there we all harmed and posioned as the fighters kicked ass on the ground, everyone was sharing ingredients with no thought at all which was great Once one section of the cliffs was clear some of the mages went down to the battle field....*harm and run like hell* seriously If we all did that amount of exercise in RL the whole world would be super skinny (and have no hair since the dragons would have burned it all off). Now I am a HUGE fan of Aces invasions....but WTG GICU this was one of the best invasions I have participated in and thanks for the time you guys put into it!!......Did you all learn the lesson yet??? No matter how many times you all complain that KF is not fun because of a few higher level players that "control" it.....look at what happens when you work as a team *hugs everyone....yes even *co* (rofl sorry peach I had too) Thank you all for a great night. I consider an inside storage safe, but viewing that screeny there was an invasion inside the storage. So actually there is no real safe place Traditionally, inside builds has always been safe. I don't know if that's written down anywhere (official) but as a newb I was often told that if an invasion came get inside a building to be safe. I usually figured that included caves too, but that was invalidated by an invasion specifically to kill all the cinnabar harvesters in Glacmor some months back. Portal rooms aren't safe either anymore. And now it looks like an inside storage can be a target too. From a role-play perspective I can see invasions anywhere outside and in most caves. But somehow I have trouble believing a giant is going to walk up to storage, open the door, drop down on all fours, and crawl inside. errrm since a god summoned it he did not need to get on his hands and knees and crawl in....but in the interests of making the role play work....maybe he ate a mushroom and shrank....OR he could have lifted the roof off and climbed inside....then again he COULD have dug a tunnel and entered through the floor?? Seriously folks....its a game....if I wanted everything to make sense I would play Real Life for a while Edit type fae is at my comp again *burns sage*

PURE are 1 year old On saturday *wipes a proud tear* To celebrate we will hold a small (ish) contest at 9.30pm BST (other time zones HERE) and then have a party The comp is fairly simple: Wolfy and Stormie wanted a huge party to celebrate our birthday and to make it fab we cast a spell (yeah coz pure cant party without magic ). In true PURE style we messed about and mucked up the spell and Stormie and Wolfy have been transported to unknown locations!! Wolfy took the brunt of the spell and lost her mind (errm....yeah it was the magicks fault ). Your task is to first find stormie who will give clues to her location...she will give you a clue as to what item will bring back my mind (good luck finding it coz my mind has been gone for years ). Then...follow my ramblings to my location and give me the item to restore my sanity (*coughs* no comment). Once im back to N....Nor.....Norm......my usual state, its time to party!! I don't know what to say really.....I HAD A BLAST and thank you A.....Mortos ...for playing with the witches last night:). The whole role play side of it with us jibing back and forth added to it IMO and it was one of the best invasions ever. 3 Rostos out of game for me (I can see Ent jumping for joy well PK event today will probably loose 5 more wonder if that warrents a proposal? ) Now most of you had a blast but as usual are a few people moaning.....well... 1. There are invasions all over c1 and c2 now so if you going to go afk do it somewhere safe!! 2. If you don't want to loose rostos and break items (and yes I did both last night) go and sit on IP where you are safe and help the newbies out for a bit. 3. If you choose to participate and you die then guess what? Tough! Now I admit that the lag was a little much...I died twice with my comp locking up even on poor man but I shouted at Mortos in PM and he did spread them out a little more after. At one point I have about 200 armed gobs round me (easy kills so np) and had to force the client to close and reload it (damn I need a better processor ) but at the end of the day....if you don't want to die hide somewhere cosy and warm, read a book, help the newbies..there are 1000's of other things to do in game no one forces you to participate. All in all we had the best night Even if we did only manage to summon a lesser god now we need to plan how to top it next year Wolfy

A tough choice..... While 90% of the warriors will be fine in iron and a tit sword you will also need to think about lower level players that have been called in the keep the teams within the CL required. Adding a rule to keep armour etc low will make it fairer in one respect but then again.....if a 50's a/d comes ip against piter ( you know we love ya maybe ) the higher armour may give them a SLIGHT chance Wolfy
