  1. I haven't played in years but was just thinking about getting the client again to see who was still around from when I used to play. Good too see some of you are at least still forum lurkers. *waves hi*

Geez how long ago was it that I started playing? Still #21 in Manu xD

    CL!!!!! LONG TIME :D

  2. yes it would be if it was not stated to be a"safe" map during an invasion of alot of other maps c1 and c2 that were happening at the time.

also it is not a pvp map.

It is a safe map to everyone not in total war, every map but IP and the UW's in total war is a pk map...

  3. The hellspawn perk does not do what its description (at the Wraith) says it does.

    Wraith's description:

Hellspawn: Each time you go to a new map and/or enter/exit a building, you have a 20% chance of going to hell/underworld (without losing any items). Cost: -10 points

In reality, hellspawn also triggers when you use or use with a ladder/door/any other item that takes you somewhere else on the same map, which the description does not tell you.

Examples of such places: ladders in Bethel and at White Stone summoning arena, Melinis city gates, many doors/cave entrances in inside places and caves.

Either some code needs to be added to check if you're not actually changing maps, or the description needs to be changed to reflect how the perk really works.

Hellspawn: Each time you go to a new map and/or enter/exit a building, you have a 20% chance of going to hell/underworld (without losing any items). Cost: -10 points

  4. 158 votes and only 2 people admitted to waiting for prices to go up? now some of you are lieing

somewhat, if the prices went up big time id sell. But I save most of my enriched essies for whenever my CoL/armor breaks I can get another made np

  5. On another note, I just found out that there are monster dropping wolfram bars, hydro bars and perhaps finished high level goods. That can't be good for the economy either. I don't understand how it could make sense. Why would a monster have something it would not use? Items that are lower on the mix chain would be a better idea. Serpent stones, gc or something shiny. Platinum coins even.

Here is an idea. Instead of having monsters drop such rare man made things, make them drop furs and have towns and cities pay for those furs and heal you up in exchange for keeping their cities safe.

A drop rate of these is so low that it does not have any impact on economy whatsoever.

I agree however that I'd prefer to see monsters drop more rare ingredients (various stones for instance) and gold instead of anything that can be produced by players or bought from npc's.

As far as I know is it only wolfram bars now, they dropped hydro bars and I think it was steel cuisses long time ago but they got removed.

    ACW drop hydro bars now

  6. I bet someone already said, but... The sum of all NPC's in EL should be able to buy EVERY "FINISHED" ITEM ingame (not ingreds), for the sum of the price of the ingredients. That price should be determined by the actual NPC prices for ingreds. As an example, the formula written above.

That way, we wouldn't have to actually PAY for every exp we want to get on the "Finished item" skills (craft/eng/manu/tailor/alch/pot/summ). There's too many manu'ers, too little buyers. We need an item sink, and fast.

Pure fighters, imagine you have to pay money for every and each exp you want to get. And I don't mean items to degrade (I lose stuff with criticals too, from time to time). I mean, in example, 10gc per 1k exp (which is less than I lose for a leather helm in manu school, and I get around 100 exp). And on top of it, exp is slow. And you complain about the drops... I wish a leather helm dropped me 1 gc everytime I make one...

Hehe now were back to the heart of the matter. The break rate should be increased for the good of the game, and its economy. An increased break rate as I have already stated would equal an increase in demand which would eventually even out the crazy amounts of supply we have right now. The break rate is really really low in my opinion. as a fighter greater than 50's even I say that the break rate is ridiculous. It does not surprise me that the prices are as they are just by the fact that i have never had to replace one item on my iron plate.

ok gratz on making it to 50's a/d but suggesting increased break rate when you havent experienced the luxury of cyc's and all other mobs up isnt a very good idea
