The only thing I really see about that, I posted it in another thread about the problem on the webpage... Do we really want newbies and other players knowing which mods and admins are online?? I don't see a problem with letting them see which NH's are online, and some of that comes in handy with the whole #hide and #unhide commands, but shouldn't there be a rank setup here? If there's admin levels, there should be the same in the game for people to view who's who. I would think it better that the NH's have access to the #mod list...Newbies can type #mod, but only the NH's show up in it. If an NH is online and on duty, s/he can type in the #mod and see which mods and admins are on that they can go to if they need extra help with something, i.e. blockers...

Well, first off, if that's the name you're using in the game, I haven't seen your posts in the Newbie Channel... If you need to ask questions in the game, please type @ before your posts so that they're seen in the newbie channel, and I'm sure someone will be on to help you...

I wondered about that...LOL couldn't figure out WHY Entropy was posting something

I hate it when that happens... *blinks* Entropy...aren't YOU suppose to fix stuff like that?

They all do that...I've done all the close quests so far and pretty much they all say "boy"...Bakart...etc... I figure Entropy hasn't worried about distinguishing male from female in the game... too many male players and not enough female..

You know, I might try that one...I have about the same probs, everything is WAAAAAY too dark on my monitor (even though I have the latest drivers for computer as monitor and my brightness is already at 100%).. I'll try that some when I get home...

M'kay, I know we have the correct drivers installed for mine, updated and everything because we (Jakuren and I) reformatted my computer not too long ago when I bought another harddrive... but my video card is: NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 Model 64 Pro on a Samsung SyncMaster 570V TFT flatscreen monitor... Now the monitor has some weird drivers w/ it that I only have 2 options for screen resolution, either 1024 by 768 or 800 by 600...and like I said, the viewing angles for my monitor sucks where I can't see anything when the game gets dark... Either way, that's my info on my stuff...

I get a LOT of lag, too...(plus, I can't see my monitor at night time, and I have it turned up as bright as it will go)... I get down to about 1-5 most of the time...all my pings are only in the 260's... Isn't there more we can turn off besides clouds, shadows, and reflections that aren't really viable to a person's playing experience?? I mean, the rain is kewl...it looks kewl, it sounds kewl...but I don't feel like playing in the desert all the time just to escape the rain...that seems to lag me down a lot (though, not as much as people summoning near storage or at beam).. I mean, it's great the game still plays at 1FPS, but barely...I end up resyncing with the server A LOT...
