I do like the idea of bringing more meds to the game, I like when there are alot choises.
Need a med that gives +2 acc +2 dmg +2 def, +2 armor, Then you have all the stats other meds got, in one Medallion. Moon/Uni/Star/Sun Meds + Binding stone + some enriched ess ? Would be cool
should call it smooms med to remember your legacy cause whenever we thought we knew your stats they were higher
Anyway, let's please stick to original topic, okay?Do I made myself incomprehensible gentlemen?

Please read the posts above, what about the people with ten thousands with them? There HAS to be some sink here, new vials are coming in greater numbers than they are disappearing due to fails. This needs to be solved, otherwise, we'll get overwhelmed by empty vials all over the place...
After you will be playing this game longer, you will also get more and more empty vials and believe me, you won't be able to sell them, there is too great supply over the demand at the moment.
-
Note: Break actually
I say again: this won't affect the content of the vial at all! The idea is that only empty vial after using the potion has a small chance to break apart!
-
@Bear: I think you misunderstand me Bear, the effect of the potion remains! It's just that you won't get any EMPTY VIAL for it, that is the idea of it. I AM NOT TRYING TO BREAK THE WHOLE POTION AT ALL! All you will suffer is that you will get approx only 75-90% empty vials back, not all of them.
@Sparhawk: I am afraid, I do not understand you. You sell potions and after the buyers use them, they will return the vial? Afterwards? I though, the price with vial means, that buyer must provide them in addition to gold coins.
EDIT: typo

When i was not anti i used to make reasoning pots and sell it to Mira.Maybe its a good idea to sell some other pots to her...
Apart of reasoning potions, there are not many worth the effort of selling to Mira. Either they are too expensive to sell them to Mira (her low price) thus not worth making, or they are unstackable or even worse, unsellable to her. And I think we need some vial sink in general to control the income of vials from FP potions.
-
u can buy potions cheaper off mira if you use a vial too, only 1gc cheaper or so, but people will do it because otherwise they just got alot vials and do nothing with em
Not bad one too, these two ideas can be combined well.
-
I have like 72,000 or so. Something needs to be done with themGet 630k of bones, make 210k of bone powder and make reasoning pots, you'd get approx 1Mgc
But still, you can see, that this needs to be solved, aye?
-
Potion brewing fails cannot compensate the huge income of FP vials, because not only potioners, but all mixers use them, so I just though this may help.
-
As we all can see, there is constant growth of empty vials on the market. What to do with them? If you use potion, there is empty vial remaining, but more and more vials are coming from FP bought from Mira in huge amounts dialy. What to do with them?
I suggest a breaking rate on vials when drinking the potion, Let's say 10-25%? Only just to compensate the vial income from FPs. This will also ensure that vials will be more valuable and so will the potions in general. I do not wish maliciously break the vials for the fun, just trying to find a way out of this. When drinking the potion, people could have receive a message like: "When you used the potion, the vial slipped from your fingers and broke on the ground"
What do you think about it?

Hey, i already said this in another thread. ^_^But, there are a moon medallion and a sun medallion, why not a sunny_moon med?
Sunny_moon medallion:
Ingreds: 1 gold medallion, 1 silver medallion, 1 polished sapphire, 1 EME, 1 binding stone, 10 fes.
Nexus Required: 5 Artificial 5 Magic.
Food cost:-36
Required Skill: crafting 50, magic 40
Gives you +3 of attack, +3 of accuracy and +3 of armor bonus.
It would be elite. What you think?
Lol, I was thinking it was a joke back then...
I though sunny_moon is a scammer and DonPedro summoner
Anyway, let's please stick to original topic, okay?
-
Don't get it wrong please. Every bonus has its cost and if there is some pros and cons, it gives more strategy to them. You have to choose carefully and it's not only about who has bigger numbers.
I also agree on tweaking the values, these were just only to show the idea and give some place to discussion...

I want my own gravestone in the shape of Thor's hammer
-
Very good ideas!Oh! What about making it so only those who are serving the medallion's god and has come up to a specfic rank can only wear them?
And those who have godless cannot wear them at all? Muahahahaa... LOL
- Sistema.
Evil
But this would give even more strategy:
Let's say: barbed to manufacture god, volcanic to alchemy god, glacial to potions god, glowstone to harvesting god, eagle-eye to attack god and armadillo to defense god?
-
We are getting little off-topic, please let's stick to the topic of more medallions, thank you...
-
Ye, harvesting is really hard work, one click then goes afk.Umm, nope, there are many events that prevents to go AFK for long...
-
You speak my mind, Ringa is not enough, there is a huge supply of lower level crafters. Just if polished gems could be sellable for 10gc (20gc for diamond)...
-
As a devoted dwarf (=harvester), I definitely agree. My level is also not so low (57), and still I am breaking pickaxes at a terrifying rate...
-
Very true, but possibly just an idea, make a *better/higher statted* uni/moon med like you make RoP's original way. while you make moon/uni meds(which i dont anyone actually makes uni i got 30 off ants) random chance to make the new medallion, that would be cool.
Just a question? What about the surplus of moon medallions that would come this way? There is no demand for them, at least not huge.
-
This is great!
-
I know moon medallions are popular of their attributes. But these are not meant to replace them, they serve as a higher level and an addition to current medallions. I did not intend to replace any items. By this, you can tacticize. Either get some accuracy/armor bonus, or get higher damage.
EDIT: I have added two more of them, as a higher stage of moon/unicorn medallion. But I am afraid, that if they will replace them in attributes, noone will want the old ones. Even if they are more expensive, they can be afforded easily by most of players.
Meds should not be expensive? Why not? If you cant afford one just dont use it, and use yours old moon or uni meds.Cannot agree more, there is no rule, which says: "medallions are to be cheap," it's like with armors. Either you use chain amor and you won't be worried about possible loss, but you will have lower attributes than the person who wears plate armor, who puts in a risk of losing it and it's rewarded by higher attributes.
-
We need more medallions, no doubt. Medallions are enchanted with powerful magic, no doubt. Magic is hard to tame and requires lots of energy to tame, no doubt. Lots of energy requires lots of powerful resources, which are expensive. I don't understand why medallions should stay cheap. They are permanently enchanted objects, thus very difficult to make and very expensive to buy. With power comes price. Many people are fed up with only moon medallions for fight and unicorn medallions for PvP, I think that something like this (not necessarily exactly these) could bring more strategy to fighting, don't you think?
EDIT: typos and last line added

Harvest, harvest, harvest, harvest and once more harvest. If you need quick money and you don't care about experience, just harvest lilacs/lupines.

Agreed, but I can imagine what storm of complains will come from pure fighters if they would need to spend their pickpoints to magic nexus
