I would like to hold our next meeting this Sunday at about 8PM GMT, I will talk to our members ingame incase they don't see this. I'll let members know where the meeting is.

Since a few people have asked, I decided I'd better post here with an update. El Girls club is still going but how active it is depends on both me and the members. The meetings will only happen with members who are attending when we have agreed they will take place. It isn't possible to hold meetings and have everyone present every time because of time differences. We always welcome non-members but unless otherwise agreed you must be a girl (ingame and offgame). If you want to be a permanent member (but it's okay if you can't attend every meeting) just ask me ingame or on here. I would like to hold group projects during meetings and maybe occasionally at other times. Best time for me for any projects is about 2PM CST (almost any day) which is equal to 8PM GMT (my timezone). Everything made will be shared out between those who take part but if you leave sometime before the end your share will be smaller. I think these projects will be good for the XP so we could even have a fighting project to increase A/D. Also we will occasionally have contests for either males to find us, or me (or maybe another member) hides and the others have to find me/another member by asking questions about our surroundings and we will give them a prize/prizes for finding us. We had one of these yesterday where I hid and the other meeting attendees had to find me. As we only had a small gathering, everyone got some prizes from me inc. the one who didn't. Permanent members will be added to our exclusive chat channel (not the same as the numbered channels) so we can talk on there at any time. I love the hats, especially the King Graham one (so I'm not the only KQ fan!) Once it's in the game, I'll be getting it for when I feel like going exploring or hunting. How about some hats for ladies as well?

We had our meeting on Sunday although IMO it wasn't our best (various reasons probably at least partly my fault). We got 2-3 new members, depends if we can count one who was with us at least once before. Next meeting I suggest to hold on Sunday at 7.30pm GMT. The reason is that I have to go about 9pm so then there's a bit longer for the meeting. Before the meeting I will try to reach people via our special channel or PM (from the list of members I have on paper). I will decide on the location before then and pm on Sunday evening as I like keeping it a surprise until just before the start. If any ladies/girls have any ideas for things we can do or discuss please let me know soon as possible by pm ingame or pm through the forum. I would also like to talk to Serene ingame about where she was going with the club before she stepped down.

I voted LOTR series but another (on-going) series of books I love is Charmed - not sure if this fits into your fantasy topic as it looks more like fantasy sci-fi mostly here. I don't go much on fantasy sci-fi as the technical details tend to take over and bore me. I tried a Dr. Who book once and didn't understand it so never finished it (I was in high school so I wasn't too young to understand). I haven't tried reading Harry Potter books, but maybe one day.

No, I meant that I was in the tavern when I crashed after harvesting some veg. We had been talking about my getting hit twice while harvesting (I didnt say what I was harvesting afaik) so when I got back I asked if I missed anything. I feel it would've been funnier if I'd taken a screenshot of my loc with the chat on.

I'm still working on getting the club right. I only want to keep it a bit private so we don't get loads of guys coming along and ruining things. We did have one contest on a channel for guys to get clues and find us but only a few people took part. Projects are fun IMO but other members might disagree in which case we won't do any. I have no idea how Serene wanted to run the club but maybe she could talk to me ingame and it might help make the club better. I love making contests by the way (but I've only ran one so far) so maybe the girls club could organise one and we can work on some prizes for non-members to win. We'll discuss it on our channel ingame. Sunday evening GMT works fine for me most weeks but ocasionally I go away from EL to stay with a friend who can't run EL (and we play a "Z..." game anyway). Maybe we can work out another day that works for when I can't make it on the Sunday.

We had our meeting about 8.15pm GMT Friday but only 2 members turned up and I forgot to PM to check if other members were coming. We had agreed on that date and time though. Sorry I was a bit late, RL distracted me. Please remember our special channel for communicating ingame on as I will talk through that when the meeting is coming up. If you are a genuine girl/lady, you can still join, pls pm me or Jhlightning ingame and we will request for you to have access to our special chat channel. You don't have to join the channel just use the command to chat on it (which you will get when you are accepted) and any other members online will recieve it and reply. We are always looking for new members, so please let us know if you are interested. Also please can anyone who knows update us on the progress of clothes for females ingame. It's an issue that several of us are very interested in. I think I found the topic for it (about masking) but not everyone reads these forums. At the moment I'm unsure which date and time is most suitable for the next meeting. I would suggest that from next weekend we go back to Sundays 8PM GMT until the next time I'm unavailable then. I need feedback on that to know if members can attend then.

Because: 1) Friday is my favourite day of the week 2) It's a good day for any timezones near GMT as it's not generally (with exceptions) a school/work night 3) I can't chair the meeting Sat or Sun evening GMT as I'm away for the weekend 4) same as reason 1 LOL

Next girls club meeting is on Friday 16th Feb at about 8pm GMT (we usually wait until everyone has arrived). Please pm me before then and I'll tell you where we will meet, it makes it more special if the loc is a secret. I'll try to keep it away from monsters to make it easy to get to. Also it will probably stay on C1 unless members are okay with meeting on C2. We may also have an essence project then. Thanks to Ttlanhil for the chat system, it seems to be working well.

Why am I never on when the mods are being entertaining?

If jh wants to get involved with this as well (since she's like a best friend to me in EL anyway), we'll both talk to you when we're both on later, in a private channel. One of us will let you know the channel no.

You're a bit early for April Fool's Day, Roja. I hope there will be a more believable joke for that day though (last year's was quite believable). If EL was aimed at younger kids, I would take this new development more seriously.

I hope you're feeling better now. Maybe you can make the next meeting this Sunday. If people can PM me (Lu05) ingame (before or on Sunday) I can take down names then PM you with our meeting location on Sunday near the meeting time. This is to try to avoid any unwanted visitors although I can only take your word for it if you say you're a girl/lady and check with Gossip.

You missed it again. I tried to find you but it didn't seem like you were on. I will be able to hold another meeting next Sun night about 7.30pm GMT, it's the one after that I'm away. Also, we really should start doing projects either after the meeting or at a different time. The EL Girls club will become more organised in time. I will see if I can set up a forum for us (never done that before).

Would any girls like to make essences together today as part of the meeting? We would share the end quantity equally between all involved. Meeting for 8pm GMT today (Sunday) and in the same place as last week unless anyone objects. I won't be able to host the meeting next Sunday.

Can we have one Peace Day a week as well please? The PKers need a rest once a week!
