I think there should be a tutorial that teaches noobies how to gather and cook meat, this could involve harvesting wood, making an fe, lighting a fire, killing a rabbit and cooking the meat. Tutorials should teach players how to play the game and things they will need to do to progress. Some of the more advanced quests are more fun and useful.

IMO, Grandnight was the greatest player since I met her. She was very friendly, helpful and generous and ran MkvL guild so well while she was in charge. Not surprising it went downhill after she left permanently.

Channel 4 because it's interesting what you can hear there, channel 6 to see where it's safe for people like me to work (non-fighters) and also to have fun working out answers to the riddles, and channel 24 for Irilion chat and cos most people there like me.

About a month after I started EL, I had harv 20 IIRC so I wanted to join a guild. An English guild were interested but noone was on when I wanted to join so I went to MkvL instead, recruited by the wonderful and generous Grandnight (not Granknight who I don't even know). I quickly rose through the ranks for being a decent player and became GM while Grand went on holiday. But things happened and that GM ship stayed although I wasn't asked if I wanted to do it. Someone else took charge then the guild died down so I left. During about an hour of play in MkvL I was upset about a member leaving and went to my friend's guild of -DD-. I was there for an hour before Grand persuaded me back to MkvL. Last year I joined RICH because I'd previously met some of the members making bars and the guild looked like a lot of fun (and more active than MkvL). Most or all of those members I met have left for other guilds now but I remain in RICH because I like it here and still have some friends left. I may leave eventually but don't plan to yet. I have so many ex-guildmates spread out in EL now, it would be hard to know where to go next.

Thanks for making the update and also thanks for releasing it on my birthday! I have yet to discover any changes to maps.

Mostly, I just watch the event and have fun trying to work out answers to riddles/find me's. I enjoy the challenge of trying to decipher the riddles. I'm not very interested in prizes because I can either save up GC for things or make some of the things myself. I'd rather work hard for things than win them (there's too many people to compete with in contests anyway).

Thanks to the developers of Gossip. I always use her to see which Guildies are online but lurking I send some messages via Gossip but I never have very confidential messages to send and have never had problems with anything I passed on via Gossip.

Seems to be ok for me so far, no lagging. Game might load a little faster for me but not much. Harv effect looks cool and so far hasn't upset my game. Still UVP 1.

How about a long winding pathway between C1 and C2 that takes about 30 mins ingame time to finish walking along? And part of it is PK

I think it's nice to give people a rest from fighting (and a rest from causing any harm) occasionally, like we get a rest from harvesting on green day (and there's not exceptions on that day may I add). Also on Day of Fasting, there are no exceptions to the rule of no eating, are there? I vote for keeping Peace Day and disabling the mines etc for that day, otherwise there may as well be exceptions to the rules on the other days too.

Seems to be working fine for me. Still 60 FPS (not sure if I need it any higher as it's quite smooth). Worked well on the test server not mentioning the problems which were known about there. If I get any problems, I'll post again.

I just want to think the people who don't approve of any harm being done on Peace Days, thanks for voicing your opinion even if some people might laugh. I'm glad to see me and Jez aren't the only ones who don't approve of harmful events happening on Peace Days. It might be making Radu think to see that quite a lot of people disapprove of certain things happening at certain times in EL. Maybe we should team up with bows and arrows (once implemented) on a NDD day in PK against the other side to let out some of our stress!

At first, it seemed most people on here thought ruining peace day for non-pkers was cool, now I'm glad to see a few more people who didn't like it. We don't all play to fight/pk and some of us want to occasionally visit dangerous places on peace day otherwise we'll never get to see them so we'll be punished forever for not being really strong. El is good in that it isn't just for fighters so please keep it a little like that. I have a few names now that I want to at least try to hurt with arrows/mines in the future but it won't be on Peace Day. I occasionally do fighting but never wanted to hurt any players before now.

I'm with Jez on this. When I saw people dying in that NC cave I had to leave what I thought would be a safe and peaceful cave during peace day. What's the point of peace day if people can still attack indirectly?? I mentioned it on ch4 and people just laughed. Not everyone enjoys getting hurt and peace day lets us go to places we can't usually which makes a nice change for us non-agressive people. I hope people who can't keep with the spirit of peace day can get in trouble for their actions.

I had that same problem. Would like to see what graphics card you have if it's similar to mine.

I'm finding that when I want to harvest flowers, I can only click a certain bit of the flowers for the harvest icon to come up, is this a bug or a change to make us more accurate when we harvest?

I would say yes but with restrictions so it doesn't make the game too easy. For example, a non-crafting alt could get rings or meds from the main but can't be used as a mule for the main. Unsure how you would enforce restrictions though. Now I will wait and see if Radu responds with one of his funny forum pics.

Thanks, I've sent Curia an offline message via Gossip to keep my iron sword prize for the next party/contest prize fund. I also want to do some more manuing to make more prizes for that.

If you're in a guild see if your guildies will help you get snakeskins. I agree with Naralik too but the grass gets in the way a lot.
