to tell the truth...i would like a karma system very much... but not as an attempt to get the economy back on track. a karma system should not automatically punish fighters...and lvl-differences often have nothing to do with the moral evaluation and thus seem not an adequate lever to help implementing it. i think most players consider bag jumpers, scammers and looters the real bad guys in EL, and some1 who punishes them when he meets them in a pk map rather a good guy. so indeed the karma system should differentiate between WHO you kill, a "good" or a "bad" guy. just looking at the stats is by far not good enough. ...is that unicorn thread still on this server ? i think i remember some good ideas regarding a karma system in it... (more later )

as you (who know me) may have guessed i was there too, but afk of course... and i been there at least since friday night, cuz i had too much RL going on and could only do the occasional harvest... well many great fighters came and went and always were polite and never some1 just took over this spawn before. they all had the patience to wait a few rounds, or asked or got asked to share the spawn. but you guys come in and steal the ogre rightaway if you can't even ask if the 1 who is training there already wants to share you don't deserve to train there at all ! and then having the nerve to coplain about mcdull....geeee, i better stfu before i get angry

the fruits and veggies there do no harm to the game and its economy, why do some ppl always try to make everything harder all the time? opening up the shops in Nordcarn is a very good idea, put there another storage too ! with MORE ppl coming and playing, which i think is what ent tries to achieve, we need not LESS infrastructure but more. nothing is easy anymore, we have no old players with high stats anymore, with all this food and essences and no coal anywhere near anything and all those changes i don't think macroing is possible anymore too, so why can't we expand instead of trying to put still more stones in the way ? - just my thoughts -

ok, i posted this right after my first steps on the test server already and said it wasn't too bad... well by now it really gets annoying ! :evil: i can't talk on channel, since "@" is typed [AltGr]+[q] on my (german) keyboard, and this combination closes my client. i know other german players have the same problem. We would really appreciate getting help there, copy and paste is really time consuming and annoying in the long run...

actually the german word for Sulphur/sulfur is Schwefel :twisted:

too true toy, i'm very close to 100 % german, but my family from my fathers side came to germany from scandinavia back in the 13th century, and the family from my mothers side were germans living in the area where the czech rep is today for a couple hundred years, so there is some slawic in my veins too. Funny thing was 4 years ago in Canada 2 drunk guys thought i was a native american... *winks to warder*

ok, i tried to read thru all bugs, haven't seen this one, if it's known already, sorry my client closes when i try to talk to channel (typing @) this is on a windows pc, german keyboard layout it seems to happen only when @ is first sign, as in talking to channel it started after the second Karn crash, and got from every other time to every single time...i can live with it, wanted to report anyways 8)

Ooooohhh... beautiful idea, A Karma System !!! i love it ! gods could kick you or not accept you in the beginning, if your Karma is too bad/good, and NPCs could treat you different...ohhh...this would be great ! And there could be good/bad animals/monsters, and mebbe attack or not depending on your karma...well that's prolly to hard to implement but boy would it be cool. and we could have certain NPCs that train you karmawise but accept you only when you go in the right (their) direction... cool idea Vart !
