i just crashed when leaving PL-WSC cave and trying to enter WS-map i used pipers client

it was an awesome event neoses, too bad i could come only so late *stares at aerowind* and couldn't really enjoy the pleasant conversations as long as i would have liked to the generosity you guys showed (altho i was kinda prepared thru some posts here) was just plain baffling me (in a positive sense, just to make sure everybody gets it ) thanx to all who were involved

well i have to disagree everybody who hasn't played on the old server is definitely a newbie ppl that have been around most of 2004 can consider them middlebies... those of them who had at least a few llvs above 50 before the partial wipe and have played on the testserver then are experienced middlebies...(myself belongs into this category aswell, btw) and OLBIES are really only very few ppl like moonie and leeloo and aki and some others, they have been around most or at least a large part of 2003 already...*bows full of awe* disclaimer: this post is an hommage to the real oldbies, and not intended to piss of ppl who consider themselves oldbies and are only newbies by this definition

i love it trop and the quotes are really reminding me of many happy days and great players...and wow so many of the were ore are in *CO* :) only thing i would look into again is the font. on my screen (1400x1050) the readability is not very good the design is awesome tho, grats a lot

Regards. no teh banned 0n3na i did not tell him about it. i doubt he would care or even mind tho. nobody is immune against getting ill, and the fact that he told his sister to log on and visit our channel, altho she doesn't even know or play this game, just to inform us about it, while he can't even eat or drink tells me it was important for him to let us know. and as i said before, i don't think some emails from ppl who care will hurt. his sister prints them out and takes them to him into the hospital btw.

i liked the idea at the beginning...but i do think it would hurt the comunity aswell. i like P2P maps on the same server much better, mebbe some of them combined with minimum-lvls, so new players don't get hurt and oldbies can go there to have some newb-free relaxation...maybe that would make them be even nicer and more helpful to new players when they are on the "old" maps... ...just a thought

i would like to get our bot approved Name: EternalBroker Guild: EternalGuardians, EG Location: was IP, new: IP if possible, but doesn't really matter Occupation: trading AGENT, ppl pm him their buying selling orders and look for orders of other players why he should be approved: he never trades himself, nor does the guild benefit from him. he announces only 1 order on market channel at a time, and only 2 orders per hour. (that is IF he can get approved like this) once again, he is there to serve the comunity. he does not trade nor does he make money in anyway. the sole purpose is providing a platform for Ppl to find trading partners. thnx for your considerations, any answers will be appreciated, preferably positive ones

that would be UBER-COOL !!! and you get get there by teleporter, which could be in a convenient (not too much so tho ) distacne to a storage... mebbe this could be used for training purposes too, lower lvls might like to PvP, too... it could be like with trade, on this map you can only fight other players when BOTH players attack, in case of an event the mods could turn this feature off then... awsome idea leeloo !

of course i am the bad guy again, but 10 minutes, 4 stops (events), and 3 broken picks for 120 tit ore is NOT acceptabel. harvesting lvl 77, btw.

i have no idea what that formula means and i bet most who voted for it do neither. and "nothing" was the favorite for the reason that ppl don't care for the serverside harvester, that's a gimmick for devs, not for players. autoclickers and harvester worked fine. i suck at maths, but how about (IF at all) making the harvesting speed depending on the harvesting lvl ?

i would love to be happy and constructive here. i just can't think of anything good about this. as some1 already stated...if you (as in the developers) would tell us (as in the players) what you wanted to achieve by this update maybe i could. my thoughts: - yes, if you want to catch more macroers, this will help. you will get LOADS of new macroers now, afk-harvesting is not avoidable anymore for anybody. - yea, if you feel it's "you" against "them", you definitely scored big time - yes again if you wanted to finally get rid of all honest non-fighters. IF these were the goals of this, gratz, you hit the nail right on the head. very sorry i can't be more constructive right now, if that was not what you tried to achive, it just really beats me.

on my first day i made it not only from newbie island to IP, but also to WS-map and i got killed by everything that moved, i am not even sure if i might have met a garg... anyways i found a bag close to WSC with wondrous things in it, and while i was still looking at them some1 came and asked if i had found it...well he got all his great stuff back...i remember a shiny sword and a brown cape...and he gave me 1000 (!!!) gold reward, i was like OMG, i'll never need to worry about money anymore in my EL-life ... that was long before the great inflation, so it was really something for a noob i could go on for hours....to make it short, i was HOOKED !!!

i would give up my fight against the useless and annoying teleporting and axebreaking events if they were finally removed

how about this: you can make weapons at a certain lvl, but you need much more time than at a higher lvl ? a uber-mega-chief-master-smith could mebbe forge the blade in 1o heat-cycles, a novice needs 100... and yes, fails would really be horrible with this otherwise, i think it's a very good idea
