What makes you think I am? I can remember some posts here and on your blog where you were talking how great you are in fixing stuff and how bad they are doing. Anyway, I think majestyk explains very well what I meant in my first post. It probably takes some time before they find the right people to fix it, there might be other bugs around that they wanted to fix first, then when the patch is ready they need to give it to the team that does the server maintenance, probably they only want to update on fixed times and you can go on and on. blah, blah, blah... all that matters is Radu pwns and WoW dev's suckz0rs, are lazy and overpaid, kk? lol Lets assemble a strikeforce to burn down WoW's headquarters

Well i guess Anshar has a point... but why not make it so that 4 random maps (2 on c1 ,and 2 on c2) turn into these pk maps for the day... that would be ok wouldnt it?

Its an ok idea i guess, and easy to implement, but why not just make it part of summoning, or make it some new spell in magic called 'beast control'... and rather make the effects last for like 1minute, or make your mana run out by 10 mana every 20 seconds of control over beast (to avoid people keeping control over creature for hours...can be adjusted for type of creature aswell). This could be quite intresting if your fighting in KF and the forest chim walks by

i can bet u an NMT cape Disturbed didnt buy pp's, and if he did it couldnt hav been more than 2 (unless he uses $$$, but then he could have just bought himself a char)... And yes strong people are together in pk guilds, but their evenly spread out (well sorta), with your idea they could all just merge and then no1 else will ever get your 'special bonus' ... and like u said if most band together the top 10 will pretty much be rewarded the same, but then their all in 1 uber guild, that kills anything that moves in pk... thats gunna increase the amount of people pk'ing no? lol ur merc guild idea just sounds silly... but as its not relevant i shall not comment on that by the 3 posts ive seen from you i can establish you do not pk much yourself, therefore i shall forgive your lack of insight into the matter... and dont take me wrong, i appreciate your effort to increase pk'ing, but your idea will just complicate things further... weaker people should not be discouraged to go into pk because they can (and probably will) lose points for their guild. this is my last post on this topic... ive made my point.

lol ok then... sorry for 'hijacking' your thread.... but in that case i vote no for your idea... it wont make me target people my own lvl, i will rather target weaker players because their easier to kill... just as stronger people will target me for points... basically every1 would be killing any1 they can for points, which would discourage lower level's(or people not used to pk) to enter pk, for the sake of their guild. Secondly: its not all about how strong you are... there are many ways to kill some1 in pk, but i shall not list them all like some attention starved n00b... Thirdly: its not just 15 people who can be in top 10... more like 150 people (actually more, if they just tried)... if u look at the current no. 10 as im typing this (Disturbed) it will prove my point, he is by the looks of his a/d rankings in high 70's/low 80's a/d and his OA isnt over 90, so he cannot hav a very high p/c, yet he has made it to the top 10 pk'ers... I think those very few players who make it to the top 10 deserved to be rewarded for it... also remember then that if a whole guild should get some bonus for the pk points, it will cause lots of strong people to band together, and then they can have that special bonus all the time... that would rock, wouldnt it? lol well i wanted to suggest double what i posted, but i thought non-pk'ers would complain...

No Drops maps/times are good ideas, but i dont think it should be implemented that way... maybe just make 1 map no drops, but you have to pay like 1k-3k to enter,and if you leave the map you have to pay again to enter (would stop the constant popping in and out of people)... if such a map was implemented i would gladly pk atleast 2-3 times a day(and i'd care less about dying), but atm a rosto is just too expensive (it takes me 2 1/2 hours of harving to buy 1 rosto)... anyways this way there would still be gc going out of the game (makes radu happy) and people can pk 5-15 times more for the price of a rosto (makes pk'ers happy)... and of course since there are still normal pk maps the people who want to pk the old way can go there to lose their rosto's, also this map would make the cost of rosto's go down (less demand) so more people will go to the normal maps too (also maybe make people not get any experience on the no drops map, so they wont PVP there), i would still use both types of maps anyway. and a brod is not the end of all pk'ing... just carry two red capes with you... i'll admit that any1 who brod's on a no drop day is a bastard, but it makes pk'ing more intresting

Good idea, but this plan has a negative side effect, the weaker people from a guild would then not go into pk even if they wanted (like on no drops), because they wouldn't want to lose pk points for their guild... How about a simpler idea, like the top 10 pk'ers for each month (that is pk points earned in that month, not total) can go redeem a prize at an NPC, something like 40k for #1, 30k #2, 25k #3, 20k #4, 15k #5, etc... just an idea. I voted no... but after reading thyralax's idea, it made me think... i like the idea for something to disable all those special items people use in (especially SoM >.<) pk... but instead of destroying them, why not just make them unuseable for 1 day (6hours) or so.. like make a them malfunction... like the rosto lost its magical powers for that time, or a therm serp is too hot/cold to touch, a cape becomes faded cloth,etc... but only for 6hours... that way you still disable the item (and i know alot of people will be really pissed if u do that to them on a no drops day ) and force them to pk in normal stuff... and to all those anti/non- pk'ers... i harv long hours for my items, and they break enough as it is (ask CelticLady/Chance how often i buy things), and i pk for fun, not to destroy my enemies' stuff... the more i can get to fight them, the more fun i have... i have no problem with a brod/mace destroying my items, atleast i can wear red cape... call me a coward for not wanting to lose 60k+ worth of items

hmmm... azurile (was named shantak) acidic zurekodw/physco/etc (think he has 6+ chars) but Markusweck the most I guess (only person who ever dared serp my spawn)... wouldnt want him to leave EL tho... killing/flaming him is fun, and the stuff he types in @4 is classic and TommyKnocker is kool

lol u still goin on bout that incident? well i prefer killing monsters... even though it is boring to train monsters, pvp is like watching paint dry, except u have to flee the whole time... also find pvp to give me less OA exp, and of course much less att exp than def (maybe im doing something wrong?) omg has a good alternative there for making training fun, having to switch between and heal monster, while at the same time heal yourself is more fun than sitting at a fluff/feros spawn, flee 3-4 times in a fight, and restore after 3-4 fluff/feros killed, its also less time spent on training (and like he said you can make up the gc spent by afk harving) although its hard to find a place where u can have several monsters gang you... i normally train feros in NRM, and carry 40 or so magic essies in the case i get ganged by feros

yea, ive called 155... i spoke to one of the technicians, but he says they havnt done anything and its probably a firewall/virus program from my side... so i gave up and thought maybe i was too stupid to find the prob myself... good thing u posted this

I saw that rule: 'If you have a problem post a separate thread, don't post on other threads "I have same problem too." etc.' but i dont see the need to start a new topic... just want to say i am from South Africa too, and i also use vodacom as my ISP... and i have the exact same problem,and it happened last week (i posted in bans forum at 1st lol) so this is not an isolated occurence... i have also tried practically everything and cant fix it... so plz if u find the answers/cure for this, post a reply here, or send me a forum pm.... once again your trying to protect your honour and not give helpfull sugegstions... but sure, i'll reply... where are u training? with the pk gear(brod and red cape), snow and tele essies my guess is Imbro... which would mean you are training in a cave with two fluffies?(its considered a double spawn) ... i once got ganged by 3 feros twice in NRM, and a few 2 feros gangs... i got 420k exp in the end of the hour... but that is not normal circumstances... u will never get 375k from feros/fluffy if you are on a single spawn... stop throwing EXP stats at us, i have no idea how you are trying to prove that 10 less coord is going to let you get more exp (what you are proving though is that TS pots give you loads more exp... not helping your case). (btw i have nothing against you, the few times we have spoken in game i got a good impression of you)

That sucks omg... but atleast u can buy a new one (unlike, say, a quest-item in some other game ) anyway, since radu makes a good point that if it had a degraded state people would train in it (lol ive seen people use full dragon+therm serp on fluffies ), maybe it should just be made a little tougher, so it is harder to break... no harm in that, it will still break, but people will have more confidence to pk in it, and Temp can find more buyers for his hard earned dragon scales just remember that people will get stronger... and the more time progresses, the more people will kill dragons at cheaper costs, and so dragon armour will get cheaper too.

seems ive missed the big arguement since my last post , but it seems to be pretty much solved by now... but I must say agis u have wrongfully attacked sufi... instead of coming up with an answer u kept going on about how wrong the -10 coord is... my a/d/p/c is very similar to sufi, and it is considered the optimum stats to train fluffy/feros (even without TS, TS just gives more exp)... but there are people with 15+ a/d than us who get the same exp per hour on the same thing, and we cannot kill them in PK in single combat... we can however get 10 more coord (from our saved pp's) which would have evened it out a bit more, because now those people with more a/d would have had to take less p/c to get better exp per hour, so the pk'ing would have been more equal... and dont sell us that BS that with -10 coord you could train forever on fluffy/feros, coord stones cost 15kgc each, i culd get 150kgc in a week... and feros do not give 375k exp (maybe if u get ganged alot and heal them, but im talking of normal training), more like 300-330k. -St

Aight... ive restarted my internet connection 3 times, rebooted once, re-opened EL a few times, and tried 3 different chars, ive also tried making a new char but that doesnt work either (i can go into making the char in that other map, but not register it), ive also tried connecting from another PC. I can also use MSN messenger/internet explorer/other games,ive also spoken to someone else from EL in MSN who has no problems logging in.... so im getting the idea im banned... if so ... WHY? I have recently made a new alt, one which i am training for DP arena, he's called HydraK... my main char is called St_ArcaNe... Soldus once tele'd to my new char to ask why i am running two clients, and i explained to him my intentions, he said its fine, just dont let them interact with each other (I.E. dont trade,pk,mule,bagwatch etc.)... i already knew that, and i havnt done anything of the sort... last night i logged off and everything was still fine, but this afternoon when i tried to log on, the 1st paragraph happened... now i can understand there could be a mistake made somewhere, so i shall try to remain calm and friendly... now... WHY AM I BANNED? If this mistake is somehow a hardware/software failure from MY side, then i deeply appologise... but it seems unlikely.

Hmm ive reinstalled EL, and ive checked all my potential firewalls, none are active... i have also not installed anything recently, nor has my windows updated. What i have discovered is i can log into the test server, but i do not get that green message when i log into the normal server... if i wait long enough it gives that pink message of 'cant connect to server '. if any mod wants to help please come to the test server, i shall give u my account password if you want to try log into the normal server.
