  1. Alternative PKing system

    Don't want to be an echo of what everyone is saying, but: 1month is a bit long... if u made it 6hours without all those bonuses i'd happily do it atleast once a week (probably on weekends). Without the bonus there would be no people just taking it just for the bonus, and therefore you would have the people who really want to PK, and not some1 who will take it so they can get the exp bonus and after their finished training in some remote location, just log off(or for the harvesting event, etc). If the time limit stays a month, then i'm sorry but i cant afford to take it... i will however pk some1 who is already pk'able to become pk'able for a shorter amount of time. Another question: I suppose if some n00b tries to poison/harm you to death they become pk'able.... but what if sum1 uses summons to kill you? If they became pk'able, then it wont work very well for normal summoners who want to summon for lvl's, and some1 who is pk'able attacks their summons(or his/her summons attack the pk'able person). All in all it seems a good idea.

    I agree... i would hate it if some1 did this to me (Markusweck actually did serp my spawns for 2 hours or so once) but i don't see it as right to call it harrasment if he just hunts you down and serp your spawn. Aside from pk'ing(that said he 1st has to go into pk)/bagjumping/healing whatever he trains on (which wuld be stupid in this case) there is nothing you can do to someone else in this game... If he didn't say anything, and only serped his spawns I think its all legal. I HATE it when people run to the mods over trivial matters... cant they sort out their own damn problems?

    Well if someone has 3 feros' fighting him i would not interupt him... i would sit there and wait till he is done, and i think it would be very rude to kill off the other 2 feros' ganging him... however, in this case you were healing them, which is not fair to the other guys in NRM, and i would most likely also have killed 1 too. I train desert chims in a similar way, but i do it at a time when Bethel is empty... and if there is some1 looking for a spawn and i know the other spawns are occupied(or i have all 4 ganging me ), i will kill off 1 of the chims ganging me for him/her... its only fair IMO

    Just for interest sake: that was exactly what happened to a guildy of mine, SmokeyD, he went into TD the day after it became no rost PK... and he got attacked by Toomass... he lost NMT/CoL and steel plate... he quit, but we got him back to EL and made a guild project to get his NMT back.     lol i agree, this is a really kool idea, could do with some tweaking, etc. but overall i like it. btw about capturing an already occupied island, ive suggested something similar to map control awhile back: a player from another guild just has to travel to the island, go talk to an NPC (can even be the storage NPC on the island) and set a time/date that they will be attacking the island(or an automatic date culd be set by NPC?) and then the guild who owns the island will be pre-warned and know when to defend their island (takes away the element of surpise i know... but maybe if the warning is just 30minutes before the the attack it could work?) anyways good thinking blodoks

    Actually, since ppl on chims need expensive armors, so gold for replace them if they break, they get even worse money from n00bs on orc. And for any1 saying " go kill trolls for drops", trolls got sucky drops, u get better gc while afk harving than from killing trolls on tripple spawn. And look how many clicks r needed for 1 hour of killing trolls, compared to 1 hour of afk-titanium harvesting Also keep in mind that no1 can steal ur tittanium ore spawn, like ppl can(and often do) with monster spawns If 20 ppl want to make money on titanium ore on the same time they can w/o a problem, if 20 ppl want to make money on killing monsters they have to serp eachother spawns. mp amen, all this is true. But personally ive grown used to afk harving for my gc... i can make my 1mil exp a day from 2hours training (if u dont know how i do it, u dont need to know ) and the rest of the time i play, i afk harv and it takes me about 90mins to regain the gc i lost in that 2hours of training... i also TRY to pk when i get really bored... but since there is no1 in pk except 2-3 merc harvers, and 2-3 totally negged yeti trainers and maybe 1 fluff trainer(who diss/tele's when i attack him), which i find in about 3-4hours of checking every pk area ...

    I agree with Saint (intresting name <.<) i also didnt get more than 2-3kgc an hour when i was on ogre even with triple spawn... but i suppose some people just get very lucky with cape drops.

    there is something called an economy. the more money that goes in the more it needs to go out. otherwise its really easy to buy all the fancy gear and it will become common while it is intended to be uncommon. as for fighting/training not being profitable its not true if you know what you are doing. I train in tit chain, aug leather pants,iron greaves, tit shield col and NMT on armed orcs female and male. I have 83/82 a/d and atm 20/28/12/12 p/c/w/v (reset) and I make 4-6 k GC a run easely without breaking more then a few bones and maybe 1 or 2 aug leather pants. with that 4-6k gc I can easely replace the 40 SR"s and the 140 HE I used. not to mention I make them myself so I only need GC for FP's. so as you can see its not true that training can not give a profit infact If my sign is negative I go to a double ogre spawn and I make atleast 20k gc / 2 hours cause of all the items. the exp is bad compared to armed orcs but its profitable. my 4 cents those are low lvl monsters, and yes i also made a smegload of gc from ogres, but wait till u get to fluffy where u have to flee fight and be content with 1 spawn that respawns every 30 seconds(provided you get an open spawn)... also if you are willing to put gc into training, you will get faster exp, and with steel plate etc. u can also hold a spawn much longer which is also more exp since u dont have to restock and look for a spawn again.
  10. Duel feature implementation

    I dont want any exp out of it either, just the ability to duel some1 for fun at the resource i'm harving at, or when i want to take a break from alch and duel some1 outside storage (for example). We sometimes do some Total War pk'ing in special guilds we made for it too just for fun, but that takes so long to fix everything up and get everyone in, and can only be done 3hours out of every 6. Anyways cycloon u know u were speaking to people who last posted here 2-3 years ago right? (it helps to check the date )

    I wanted to suggest something like that too, and unlike you i DID do some searching(and there was ALOT of suggestions like that) the dev's did start working on it but as far as i can see it never got implemented and nothing was ever posted about it again. here's the link to that thread: http://www.eternal-lands.com/forum/index.p...11736&st=60 i also posted there a week ago but i havnt got any replies, so i forgot about it
  15. NMT breakable poll

    a few months ago when i was training fluffy/feros i voted yes the cape should breakable, and that i didnt really care because i can harv to sustain my armour breakage rate(btw like fourier i never got an NMT/Arti drop from them)... but recently ive started training desert chims, and ive gotten hit alot more than i was at fluffy/feros and more stuff started breaking(faster than i could afk harv for replacing), so i decided i would save up and buy an NMT, which has decreased my breakage rate ALOT. Now that i have a cape i guess i'd like it to be unbreakable, but if it does turn breakable i wouldnt care too much, just spend more time harvesting. Honestly though, don't make the NMT breakable, just make it much rarer to drop (and its already VERY rare), even if that means they dont go out of the game, maybe they will enter the game at about the same rate new people enter the game (meaning there will still be a demand for it)... i couldnt care less about drops, at the moment i train at a loss anyway. My suggestion is: make an NPC buy them for 500k, or trade a nexus removal stone of your choice for it (no i personally do not use nexus stones, and i detest the fact that you can get pickpoints for 800kgc) ... i know i would sell any NMT/Arti cape i find to the NPC just to let less people have one, and keep them unbreakable. (i bought my cape for 325k, so prices are not going down so drastically yet)

    Well i cant say i blame Radu either, he did say he was working on a perk to get rid of it, and that it would cost no pickpoints, only 20-30kgc... and then people kept going on about how bad it was, so he got angry and decided not to implement it... Right now i think complaining about this will only make things worse, and maybe if we dont complain about what we dont like about astrology (because i'm pretty sure radu knows exactly why some of us dont like it by now) and just ask him nicely to rethink about the perk, we may still get it.... as for myself i think its too late, and even though i would have taken the perk if it came, i guess i can still live with astronomy, since its not all that bad. So please Ent, do not bother with the few people here who do not think before they posted or seem capable of saying all they think in one post, and reconsider putting in the perk for the rest of us who did not state our opinions here.

    i kinda like them to be hard to train on, and that they do high damage, that means i need higher p/c for them, so i hav a better chance in PK.. if anything make them hit harder and harder to hit \o/
  21. How to make money

    What works for me is: take neg perks like power hungry, scotty died, and antisocial,put it into fighting stats, go train st00f till u get to 60 oa or so (doesnt take long at all, ive made an alt for DP arena and its quite fast), then put everything into phys/coord.. after that, if u dont have inorganic nexus, go afk harv coal in WS Diamond cave and haul to NC... if u do hav 2 inorg nexus go harv iron in EVTR... i can make ~7kgc an hour on iron ore without having a gigantic EMU, and i can do other stuff while my char is harving. Other n00bish option: take all the neg perk except hellspawn/antisocial, put it all into phys and harv blue lupines till u hav enough gc for what u want to do, then reset and build char like option 1.

    Dug this up from the graveyard when i wanted to suggest a very similar idea.... was this ever implemented or are you still working on it (rofl) ... sry to bother, but i cant find any1 involved in this topic in-game to ask what happened, and ive bin searching forums too (well mainly suggestions and updates) couldnt find anything.

    Got any good reasons for that? #Edit - The people who don't want this to affect them should be able to have the option to not have this, or a lot of people will quit. simple reason, can you change your birthday in RL and do you know if/how the stars infect your life ? I don't but it should be the same for every one. Only thing i hope is that all sign's have the same value only have stats on different time. Because, that if it isn't and you will start an alt or new char you will start making them as often as it takes to get the right sign for your plans with it. I do not believe in that BS in real life, so why should i believe in it in a game? yes tempest it rawks when u hav good stats, and then when u hit bad stats u cant train... my training was kinda screwed up today because of a actual -5 to -10 def penalty... its gotten better now as i type this and i should be able to go train in an hour or so... and tomorow my exp per hour will be great i guess... but i dont want to HAVE to train when i have good stats and be forced to do something else if i dont... all the other things i can live with, i can wait till a good time to make my essences to get more enriched ones, and i can live with any amount of harvesting events (even though i liked the bout i had today, in which i managed to afk harv 8k iron, and 6k silver without a single harvesting event to interupt it) i'm sorry radu i dont like to complain, and this is actually a good idea, its just i dislike to have to do things at certain times... its more fun for me to do what i want when i want to do it... i would also appreciate that perk...

    That's your problem, I don't train much these days, but I don't have trouble generating the 3k-6k on DCW. -Blee i bet fourier gets more exp than u per hour.... if u kill them fast its bad exp but good drops, if u kill them slowly its good exp but bad drops anyways desert chim= good exp, but expensive... i personally dont mind afk harving for the gc lost, so i find them good to train, although fluffy/feros is probably more stable/cheaper exp... but remember that because u need more p/c to train desert chims than fluffy/feros, u can beat up most fluff/feros trainers in PK lol

    i guess u just have to do what you have the best rates for, atm harvesting is very uneventful, 2 loads of iron (240'ish each) and no events, this rawks! i can surf the forums without having to go back every 30seconds to initiate harving again. and chosen, ur stats are similar to mine, harvesting should be good for u too
