  1. *Nice idea Grum. I'm just used to tele ingame :D

Leeloo: Yeah, you're right about that, but I think the 'Common man' is going to be not so common at all. :) And he learned it from Tiwo, so we just have to let Tiwo die >:)*

    Highlights, Day 2

Tiwo told me to hunt some deers for their meat, then he went away. I don't know where he is. I'll just go hunt.

Afternoon edit: Tiwo returned this afternoon, he brought some unusual stuff with him. I wonder if this has to do with Alchemy?

    Highlights, Day 3

This day Tiwo told me to hunt foxes and rabbits, bring along their furs, bones and meat. He went away again, probably getting some more of what he brought yesterday.

    Highlights, Day 4

Tiwo didn't came back yesterday. I'm just going to train some more on the snakes here, they seem stronger as the ones I've encountered before.

    Highlights, Day 5

One snake managed to bite me yesterday. I hope they aren't poisonous. But I feel good, if you don't count the pain in my shoulder, so I guess I'll be fine.

    Tiwo still hasn't come back.

    Highlights, Day 6

This night, Tiwo finally came back. He gave me a potion to cure that bite, then he went to sleep. He looked like he hadn't slept in the past three days. I went out to get some more meat.

    Highlights, Day 7

Tiwo showed me what Alchemy is. It seems to have the same meaning as manufacturing: Putting ingredients together to create another item. Only this is different, it looks more like magic. Tiwo said those strange rocks he brought with him were called 'Iron Ore' and showed me how to make iron from it. Later on, I should be able to make swords out of that Iron, along with some other metals.

    Highlights, Day 8

An Orc came into our camp today. He stole some food. When I told Tiwo he disappeared, to reappear on the same spot only minutes later, bringing our food back. I still wonder how he does it?

I trained some more in Alchemy. I'm finally able to get that Iron right!

    Highlights, Day 9

Tiwo showed me Titanium and Silver today. They're almost the same as the Iron, only much stiffer. Maybe you can make swords out of Titanium...

    Highlights, Day 10

I'm still working on my Alchemy. It's pretty hard.

    Highlights, Day 11

Today Tiwo showed me Mercury. It seems pretty dangerous. At least Tiwo handled it with utmost care. It's used to make essences. When I asked what essences are for Tiwo just answered 'Magic.' I thought magic didn't exsist...

    Highlights, Day 12

We didn't do any Alchemy today. But I did learn how to make gloves, hats and cloacks. It's a boring job, it seems fit for women... But when I told Tiwo he said that warm clothes could be useful.

    *More coming up*

  2. Thanks guys :) And I'll have to edit that Forest of the Fall thingy...

    Dark Days, day 3

The man told me his name. Tiwo, he said. When I asked what that meant, he didn't reply. Maybe he'll tell me later.

The Training has started today. Tiwo gave me a sword and some armour and told me to kill some deers. He's nuts! Only experienced warriors can kill deers...

    Dark Days, day 4

It surprised me; those deers weren't so bad at all. I only got a few scratches, but those were taken care of in an instant by Tiwo's potions. Tiwo said I might be able to handle foxes and snakes. I hope so.

    Dark Days, day 5

I'm way to tired to write... I'll tell it tomorrow..

    Dark Days, day 6

Today's my day off. Tiwo said I should rest after yesterday. The foxes were quite easy, although one almost ripped my legs open. But the snakes were the worst. They were strong and fast. One even poisoned me. Made my whole arm turn green. I'm glad Tiwo's here to cure me once in a while - although without him I wouldn't have been here in the first place.

    Dark Days, day 7

I killed some more foxes today. And those snakes are becoming quite easy too. I'm getting the hang of that Sword.

    Dark Days, day 8

Today Tiwo said he had a surprise for me. We cleaned up the cave and started a hike to another cave we had seen. Tiwo said he would be waiting for me at the end. Before I could ask what he meant, he just disappeared... I wonder how he did that? I'm going to sleep now, and think about what he said.

    Dark Days, day 9

I'm gonna walk through that cave, although I don't know what to expect.

Evening edit: Now I know why Tiwo led me here. The place is filled with snakes and wolves. He's testing me.

I found a safe sleeping place up a few rocks. I hope there won't be any Gargoyles in here...

    Dark Days, day 10

Finally made it to Tiwo. He was waiting for me by a huge lake. He said I'm gonna learn to swim tomorrow. When I asked him how he got here he said I 'am not ready yet'. I wonder what he means?

    Dark Days, day 11

It seems I'm a natural - swimming is a piece of cake! This afternoon we swam over the lake, to the end of the cave. I didn't break a sweat.

    Dark Days, day 12

We're on a huge plain now. That cave is dozens of miles behind us. There are monsters here I've never seen in my entire life. Tiwo said they're called Puma's, Ogres and Orcs. He also said I'm not ready for them yet, so he kills them every time they spot us. When he does it, it looks really easy.

    Dark Days, day 13

Tiwo gave me a Staff today. He said it was his once, and it has magical powers in it. He wont tell me how to use them though - it seems I gotta figure that out myself.

Tiwo also told me I could try some Puma's. Man, they're hard to hit. Reminds me of those snakes...

    Dark Days, day 14

Those Puma's stay hard. I'm glad Tiwo knows how to make potions...

    Dark Days, day 15

Finally killed a Puma. Maybe I'm getting the hang of that Staff. But I don't see why Tiwo let me train with that Sword...

    Rise of the Sun

This evening I found out it's already the Rise of the Sun. I didn't offer anything, it seems Tiwo has also forgotten it... I hope the Gods forgive us...

    Highlights, Day 1

Tiwo set up a base camp under a hanging rock. He said we're gonna stay here for a while; to theach me Manufacturing and Alchemy skills. I wonder what Alchemy is?

*You guessed it, this isn't finished either!*

  3. I think there hould be another way of getting the castle: Pushing some sort of secret button/entering a special room which is waaay down in the castle, hard to find. Some other rooms should have bonus items in them (like essences, potions). These rooms can only be entered by members of the guild which controls the castle. Anyone in those rooms when the castle gets taken over dies >:)

This would enable guilds to have events in their castle, or some auction of items.

  4. *OK, this isn't finished at all. I'll be posting here some more. Roja and Ent: If you hate the idea, tell me :) Would save alot of work. If anyone (including Roja and Ent) likes it: TELL ME :)*

    Fall, day 12

It was odd today. I walked through the Forest of the Fall, trying to find that Trader who lives there. Didn't find him. But I did find someone else. Not someone who I expected to find though. He looked kinda weird. Not his face, which was much like any Elven face, but his clothes. It was more than normal armour, maybe magical. I didn't ask him about it. I just told him the way to White Stone City. 'To the West' I said, he just nodded as an answer. Still, he seemed a nice person.

    Fall, day 13

Forra asked me to deliver some flowers in White Stone City for her. When I had sold her flowers I went to the Happy Spirits Inn. The odd Elf from yesterday also was there. I ordered an ale, and went to his table. On my question if I could join him he nodded. He told me weird things. He said he was sent here by someone. I don't remember his name excactly. I think it was something like 'Aiwum'. The man said the name had an old meaning: Century. We talked a bit about the weather, but when the converstation moved to the Gargoyles which broke loose from the Castle the man's eyes got a dark shade in them. He asked me if I could get him another wine. When I returned the man was gone.

    Fall, day 14

Tomorrow is the big day: End of the Fall, begin of the Dark Days. My sister and I are going to offer our calf to the Gods. I hope they'll be pleased.

    Fall, day 15

The party was great. Although our offer wasn't as big as Forra's, we still think the Gods'll let us live till the next Fall. That peculiar man I met three days ago showed up. He didn't say anything though, but he did give me a note. 'Come to Fruit and Veggie's shop tomorrow.' Maybe he doesn't realise the shop is closed tomorrow. But I'll go anyway, I'm pretty curious. That man has something... familiar.

    Dark Days, day 1

The man did realise the shop was closed. When I got there, he told me to grab his hand. We somehow ended up in Portland, I'm not sure how. Did I black out? I asked him if he knew that Goblins roam Portland, but he didn't seem afraid of the Goblins at all. He pointed at his cape and said that Goblins wouldn't attack him. We went to a cave. There he told me to get some rest and that he would tell me some things tomorrow.

This evening I asked Tiwo what would happen to my sister. I couldn't just leave her. He told me he'd left a message. He wouldn't let me go back to say goobye in person, he thought is was too dangerous. I'm wondering what could be so dangerous about a trip home?

    Dark Days, day 2

The man did tell me things. Things I'd rather not hear. He told me Aiwum, who had sent him, was a great wizard. He could see in the Future. Aiwum had seen the Destruction of our Continent. 'Our Continent?' I asked. 'Is there another Continent?' The man nodded. 'Even more than ten others. But you aren't ready to go there - yet.' After that the story came down to that the man was going to Train me, after that I would hear the rest of the story. I'm gonna do the Training, although I don't know what to expect from it.

*this is it for now :) More is coming up*

  5. When they all were setlled down a bit, Tumaros asked: 'OK; now you can tell me. Who is that Bahamut you two were talking about? I know he's a dwarf and thats he's after your ruby, Aira. But what else?' 'I'll tell you what else.' Aira replied. 'Bahamut once was just a normal merchant, looking to buy stuff cheap and sell it with high profits. He got worse and worse, at some point he was prepared to steal, or even kill to get items cheap. Then he heard of me. I don't know how he did, but he did. He secretly entered the castle my parents held me captured in, found my room. He asked me if I would be prepared to give him my ruby. OFcourse I didn't. Bahamut went away, only to prepare my death. A few days later, when Geelef was visiting me secretly, Bahamut came in again. We thought he was my mother coming up, so Geelef had hidden himself. When Bahamut treathened me he took up a piece of wood and threw it at Bahamut. Then we used the little magic we knew to drive him off. We didn't hear from him again, until a few minutes ago.'

'Aha.' Tumaros said. 'So now were gonna finish him off?' 'That's the plan yeah.' Geelef answered. 'We will need some training though. Bahamut was strong then, he might be stronger now. If he controls this entire region, he'll probably have some minions...' Geelef turned to Nardo. 'Will you make some potions? Healing mainly, but some to easily get rid of magic effects or weak enemies would be nice too.' Nardo nodded and said: 'Don't rely on my potions only. Make sure you train, not only your magic and fighting skills, but also your reflections and athletics. Maybe he's got some maze with loads of weird traps.' For a second it was if Nardo remembered something which happened a long time ago, but then he said: 'I'll be gathering some ingredients. Anyone cares to come along?'

  6. 'Me? I am sent here, by my good master.' The Siren said. 'Ahhh, that voice' Aira said. Geelef spinned around. 'Didn't you take the potion?' he snapped. 'Just kidding man... Don't be so jumpy' Aira smiled back. 'Oh man. Will you never do that again please? You scared hell out of me...' Geelef turned around again. 'Ok, you said master. Who or what is that master you're talking about?' he asked. 'My master is a who. Not a what. He's a male dwarf, very powerful and wise.' 'Does he have anything to do with why we are here?' Nardo asked. 'Well... He does. He's bored. He wants some amusement. But because he doesn't know if you're worthy to fight him, he sends you through trials. This plain is the first out of three. But I can't tell you anything more about this, or else my master will kill me for it.' Tumaros nodded, and said: 'What is your masters name? Maybe we know about him.' 'Bahamut.' the Siren replied. 'Bahamut? That son of a (censored)!' Geelef shouted. 'Do you remember him, Aira? He tried to steal your ru- Waaaiiit. It isn't about him being bored is it? It's about Aira's ruby... Sjeez...' Aira nodded. 'Yeah, I remember him. And I too think he is after my ruby again. But we will not run. We will kill him, no matter what.' Geelef nodded. 'Yes... That's the least we can do.' he turned back to the Siren once again. 'You - You will go back to your master and tell him what we just decided. It wouldn't be fare if he thought he could trick us.' A devilish grin captured Geelef's complexion. 'Tell him, and be glad we didnt kill you...'

  7. I know its gonna be hard to implement slaves, if were gonna have 'm. But they are way from needed. And you're right about them mofo's who sue companies when stuff goes wrong - even if there is a 18yrs+ sign on tha box... Ah well, maybe we can think about it again when the game is nearly finished.

  8. This is internet; you dont have privacy here :) Take a look at this:

*noses around a bit* 'Hmmm, yeah, interesting. Was it you who killed JFK? Yeah, I knew it!'

    :)

anyway, i like the idea of having names in a healthbar. Quite easy to get long names shorter. If your name is over so many pixels/characters you would have to input a name that shows in your healthbar. So, if your complete name is 'Sir Johnathan Joseph of Queensdale' you could let your healthbar name be 'Sir John'

  9. Item prices are fine in my opinion... And I kinda like the idea of only being able to wear certain weapons if youre over a certain level. But I dont like the idea of having different skills for each weapon. That would ruin the current weapon system. Youll most probably start with gloves, as they are cheapest. Once youre ready to buy a sword, all your glove exp will be useless, but sticking to gloves isnt an option because steel gloves do +3 damage or something. Then, once you finally convinced yourself to do swords, you wouldn't get a different kind of weapon anymore..

    Blègh...

  10. You were thinking about pets, right? Bots that help you in battle? (At least that's on the site...) Well, give the dog-bot another skin, and the ability to harvest/carry stuff et voilá: slave. I also like the idea of pissing your slave off :) Treat him well = he likes you = works harder; treat him bad = he hates you = he tries to kill you every time you walk by...

    Thinking about the disadvantages:

    1. True, but it would oon :) Maybe something for when the game is (out of) beta

    2. If you're gonna implement fighting bots, they would slow the server down too. Most calculations could be done clientside; so for the server its just like another player walking around.

    3. Like killerlamb said...

    4. could be dealt with if slaves can only be purchased if you're a high level with something, (maybe even over 75) so only really leet players would be able to have a slave. Those players prolly wont be interested in slaves, cuz they start out as noobs. (it would be like starting all over again...)

But hey, if we wont have slaves, we can always convince our little brothers to act like one >:)

  11. (Good youre willing to post here anyways, Aira :D)

Geelef, who had been staring at Laena all the time, finally looked up. He too tought the human girl was pretty, but not as pretty as Laena. Then, in a split second, Geelef realised it: this was no ordinary girl. It was a siren. 'Okaààày...' He turned towards the girl. 'If you say another word I'll tear you apart. Wait till I'm done, then speak.' Surprisingly, the girl nodded. 'What the... Why are you so rude?' Aira asked. 'I'll tell you Aira. This is not a mere human. She's a Siren. When she speaks you all will fall under her spell. You are already affected by it. Just take a look at yourself.' Aira looked at Geelef, then at the girl, and back at Geelef again. 'You mean she isn't human?' 'That's what I mean yeah. Sorry.' Geelef turned towards Nardo and asked him: 'Would you be so kind to make a special potion? This is what you need...' Geelef put his hands in front of him, palms up. Two seconds later all kind of weird ingredients appeared on them. 'Just need that octopus blood you have with you.' Geelef said. Nardo nodded. 'I know which potion you're thinking of...' While Nardo was mixing the ingredients, Geelef turned back to the Siren, his drawn sword hovering in front of her face, ready to strike when the Siren opened her mouth. Minutes passed, but the Siren didn't say anything. 'Ok, done.' Nardo's voice said. 'Just take a nip of this and you're immune to her magical charm.' After he took a nip, Nardo passed the bottle to the others.

'Ok, now you can speak. Why are you here?' Geelef asked.

  12. I dont know about Micheal Jackson - never really checked up with all the facts :) But I DO know about the little f*ckf*ce called Bush (prolly shouldn't say that too hard, or I'll get the CIA in my house or something like that...). Bush just wants a *carreer* in politics, just like his father. But he's waaaay to aggressive. 'stop tha terrorism' 'If ya not for us, then ya against us' 'DIE SADDAM DIE' weird-oh...

Which doesn't mean i'm making up for saddam, what he did was bad too..

  13. Geelef drew his sword, still shining from the spell he cast on it long ago. 'Nardo, gimme your sword please, I got an idea' he said. Nardo looked at Geelef, thinking what he wanted to do. 'You aren't gonna slash his legs off, are you? You wont have the time to do it.' 'That's why I am going to use two swords.' Geelef replied. Nardo nodded, pulled out his sword and handed it to Geelef. 'Cover me, please' Geelef said. He started to run towards the Inferno, the each sword in one hand. In seconds all sorts of spells were fired at the Inferno. When Geelef almost reached the Inferno, he could feel a spell hitting him, at first he thought someone had a bad aim, but then he realised he was hit by a protective spell. Thanks, Nardo... he thought, smiling. With a huge sweep he drove both swords into the two legs of the Inferno, sending fire, water, poison, air, electricity and what more into the Inferno's body. The Inferno went from greeny red to purple and fell down again. 'Ok, let's get him!' Geelef shouted.

  14. Sh*t. I just wanted to chew on grass to get my head back on :) How about ill take your head instead?

Gee's body walks to Tropicano, rips his head off (no sound ofcourse, except for the 'shhhr' of trops head) and puts it on his own body. Then he sais, with Trops voice: 'Muhaha, eat that :P And there's no way you can get your own head back anymore LALALALALA'

  15. 'What he means,' Geelef said. 'His that THAT monster-' he pointed at the Inferno, who was closing in on them a bit, 'is going the set us aflame if we dont stop him.' He raised his hands, conjuring an enourmous ball of water. 'Come on, give me a hand, will you?' he asked. They nodded, and seconds later the waterball was glowing with poisonous, electric, earthly and air magic. 'Ok,' Geelef panted. 'Lets send that Inferno to hell... He'll probably like it.' With great force he pushed the energyball towards the Inferno. When the ball hit it, great steamy clouds erupted from the Inferno's body. The Inferno roared with pain, but stood his ground. Aira, who had been standing aside, now used some of his magic. The Inferno fell down, and the magic ball dissappeared over the horizon. 'Well, that was kinda easy.' Killerlamb said. 'Don't say that,' Nardo said. 'Just look at it.' Killerlamb looked at the Inferno, and was shocked when he saw the huge leg move a bit. 'Uh oh...'

  16. Yeah, trop oons joo -.o

Although i must say he is LOST :) NP with that, i am too...

... 'WHOAAA!!!' Entropy looks back at Gee, opens his mouth and starts screaming too. Tropicano, who was wandering around white stone, runs to the noise, but when he sees who are shouting he only sais: 'Having a go at it again you guys?' 'Yeah, I just found out i screwed up my French test' Geelef said, just before he started shouting again...
