    As for the topic, I went buck wild on no break day yesterday (Even with all the red capes on I don't think I ever got off so many branch hits in such a small time period) and my brod didn't break at all. Brod Hit rate was nice too. :P

    personally I like the way things are run now, the benevolent dictator thing seems to work well. and the community having too much control kinda scares me :P

     

    I agree the community as a whole would involve many people who should not be voting yet...

     

    an example would be the age restriction at 18 in the USA to vote... had children been able to vote parents would get strict fines for making them eat vegetables, school would be optional, etc...

     

    maybe if a forum account would have to hit a certain "age" or time period first that would be a good idea.

     

    but in an overall democracy with no limitations I'd trust a dictator more than a newbie... History has shown large groups of stupid people who don't know any better to do horrific things :)

    It just seems that to have the opt out perk is kind of admitting that it has a detrimental effect, when in fact....

     

    1. Players work hard for their stats (not just fighters) and they deserve to play on the char with the stats the earned....

     

    2. players play to have fun. in most cases (it is never all cases since we are all different) this is not welcomed and is ruining the fun of the game.

     

    3. The perk to remove it is also a "you might get screwed." You can't win.. because if they see every1 take it

     

    A. they might do something to make it give someone a severe advantage in a particular sckill one day since there is a 500$ fee to remove it a money player will happily pay

     

    B. Even if greed is not the motivator out of spite it might be done too...

     

    This should have never been impleented Just like the Darkness BUT there are Many yes men in the game and they wont leave or shut their mouths unfortunatelya nd it gives devs the wrong idea of what ppl like...

     

    I would imageine someone worked very hard on this stupid idea and i assume thats the logic used when in any bad update they NEVER remove something bad they just make a undo/crappy fix like night vision goggles lol..

     

    This makes the game less fun not more for atleast 9 out of 10 players u can deny deny deny all u want but maybe your just the 1 in 10 that lieks it ;) or maybe ur just a yes man too :)

    The game has gotten to a point that i only play on my harvest alts more then my main fighter. It's not fair to the guild to have a GM that never plays so I gave Corpus Opis guild to EvilGeorge.

     

    I'll be buying a name change and privacy soon too when the new owner is ready to take Luciferx. I am not quitting EL though, I will always have a n00b char of some sort harvesting or something to chat with my friends.

    Take harvest orders or make fire essence to sell... thats the most profitable way to make money in this game.

     

    Even serping yetis and arcti chims for an hour i might make 20k but the degrade a 20k+ weapon or armor.

     

    They did a good job making it so u have to.. as you said it yourself... put money in or a lot of time in. especially with the astronomy implemented every1s just gonna spend more to make less.

     

    Maybe one day they'll learn you catch more bees with honey than with vinegar. Til then tough it out.

    I know this should go in BANS but please read. ....My characther is DeirdreLaFaye. I have tried to send a personal message regarding my charachter to Aislinn and have been un successful, I cannot PM any administrators either. I get an Error stating that I do not have permission to use that service. PLEASE HELP ME! I have been banned and have no clue as to why! I was trying to get white listed and am not able to post either (I get the same error). Please please, I love EL and have spent alot of $ in the store too. Tell me what I did wrong I will never do it again i swear! I have alot of friends in game who can vouch for me Pyewacket, Brendal, Joshyboy,Sapira, Drkhwk, and LaNora. Please don't take EL away from me!
