  1. Will vs. Vitality

    For a toplevel pure PKer, will is slightly better IMHO. Lets say you take 16 vit instead of 16 will, it will reduce you 3-4 dmg from each hit. If your enemy is high p/c+ high weap, he/she will hit you much more than that, so 30 hp bonus (from will) isn't any worse. Plus, in PK, you need to calculate not the full HP, but the effective one, because you don't restore at 1 hp, but rather at 60-70 or so (depending on taste ). So, if you take low phys (32 or so), your total HP might be a problem with vitality. In short, if you take 2 chars with identical amount of pp, low phys+ some will+ all coord char would beat vitality one at PK. Also, will is +XP everywhere. As for summons, TempesT, where are you pulling that 80% from? It's like 12% (with 20 vit) instead. Of course, it still may be important if you are lucky That said, vitality may be a good option for cheaper training, also good for killing dragons if you add phys for HP, good for summoners and so on, so any1 is free to choose
  2. Harvesting speed

    Well, good point Ghrae, but you should stop feeling those fails. People with decent alchemy level fail less than 1% on essences and bars, so if it's the same with harvest, you won't feel it. And indeed, I measured how many silver ores I harvest in 60 secs, it's almost always 60 ores (30 harvests), so you shouldn't feel any difference between harv lvl 60 and 100 for silver IMHO

    I have a medium harv lvl (66 atm iirc), but I harvest silver ore at the same 1 harvest/ 2 seconds (+- 2%). So, most probably, all people harvest at the same speed, for example 0.5 harv/ sec for silver. At low levels you harvest slower because you fail to harvest often.

    In ideal case we should see what players are doing in a realistic way, for example, some leather on the ground, player holds a shoe skeleton and nails pieces of leather with a hammer. But this requires significant amount of work in design/animation
  16. How to make pk maps crowded

    The suggestion wasn't good, but I agree Zamirah raises important points, that is, fighters are now not fighters, but flower harvesters and coal miners. Fighters should fight evil monsters and use money to buy armor, essences, clothes, potions, summoning stones. Now they can do this only if they are capable of killing yeti+ fast. I think there should be monsters that give good gc at various levels, not only 120+ a/d. They may be dangerous, like spells, big random damage, special effects etc, but if you manage to take risks, you should get decent money/ hour, at least more than you do by simply muling flowers to the shop without any risks. Nowadays only maybe phantom warrior and white tiger are examples of what I mean, but their drops are still low. Also, as scarr said. Add even more profitable monsters in PK maps. Personally, because fighting is not profitable and there is lack of interest in PK, I started other skills, with focus on summoning

    If we really stop getting xp from monsters (or maybe only from monsters in non-PK zones ?), there is one big problem. A/D leveling changes dramatically, so new players may be at a big disadvantage (or advantage if new system gives significantly more xp) compared to those who already have accumulated some a/d xp. That will result in many upset players. Also, you say That is a bit unclear, what type of A/D exp system are you proposing? If it's same as now, most players would only pvp (more for defense I think). If it's based on the time you fight, hmmm interesting. How does it depend on the level of the fighters?

    Sounds cool, but I doubt I will be playing there. I'm not spending much time on EL atm, and leveling a new char would definitely require some. Also, EL player base is not very big, and splitting it into two pieces might be somehow harmful.
  19. Training Question.

    Monsters are usually better xp, when you make good training. But if there are no monsters suitable for your a/d/p/c, pvp is good way to get some exp

    Personally I hate lies a lot, if you promise something (like CoL for harvesting lots of stuff), you should pay it if the work is done. Markus may hate dekke, ok, but then he shouldn't make contract at all. Anyway IMHO it was quite stupid to agree to work for markusweck, he is a known outlaw.

    I disagree Learner. For example, you need to type #killme yes/ #reset twice. Luckily we have protection for these commands. Same should be for stones IMHO
