fred_penner Report post Posted September 7, 2004 I've posted a couple of new in-game maps at elrocks.com. Portland and Naralik are now available. Remember, download the .BMP files (not the .JPG) and place them in your \el\maps\ directory. And I make no guarantees, so backup your existing maps first. fred_penner Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Like I said in the PM: I'm not sure what you're saying exactly, but I think you mean you want to create a binary installer that will copy all the maps to someones \el\maps\ directory, right? And again, my response is: Why? Why would someone want to d/l one hugh file with all the maps in it, more than once. They won't compress very well, so you're not saving much. Also, why would anyone want to d/l all the maps over and over? They can just go to the site and download the new maps as they're posted. And finally, do what you like and let me know what you come up with. I don't mind at all.
