Issues with character creation

Hi,

 

I installed Enternal Lands multiple times and the same problem arises everytime. It works great until I click new character then it goes through the load bar and CRASHES.

 

Anyone have an idea what to do to fix it?

In these cases the trouble often lies in the graphics card.

Two things you can do:

- update your graphics drivers from the manufacturing website (see elsewhere in this thread how to do that)

- BEFORE clicking create new, click 'settings' button and in the 'troubleshoot' tab, select 'poor man'

If the poor man trick works, then turn off all advanced graphics features. deselect poor man and slowly turn the advanced features (like shadows, sky and special effects) on one by one.
