Guest Guest_Justin_* Report post Posted November 20, 2008 Hi, I can see a few people have this same problem but I haven't found an answer quite yet...I have a Power mac G5 and I downloaded game, opened the folder, and opened client and it begins to load but then crashes along with an "unexpectedly quit" message. I'm not very computer savvy and have looked for the el.ini file so I can replace the 1 with a 0 like the download thing said to. Will someone please tell me where I can find el.ini? Thanks alot. -Justin

Guest Guest_Discordya Report post Posted November 20, 2008 I am running Windows XP SP2 and I downloaded and installed the windows client.. I get the exact same error. I click the icon created on the desktop, it loads for maybe 3 seconds then I get a crash message " Erernal-Lands Client has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Then has Debug, Send Error Report and Don't Send buttons.

If that doesn't help, try to move or rename the shaders folder in \Applications\Eternal Lands\ (or where ever you installed EL). Standard answer: update your graphics driver ^^ Also some system specs would be helpful, especially for the graphics card/chip.
