kl4Uz Report post Posted April 10, 2006 Hi Ortak! I just downloaded your text adventure and gave it a try. One thing I noticed is that it's really a lot of text and no break between the text. this is just an example: will not voluntarily fight with you, you should travel south to the town ofWhite Iron. Some of the darkness has crept up to it, and I'm sure that when you get your strength back you will be a great help and will have a chance to prove your valor. As a Warrior, you have your own unique abilities, but you can also learn other skills by speaking to many different trainers. Also, I'm sure that you want a weapon. What skill would you like to focus on? unarmed, knife, sword, axe, staff, blunt, bow, or throwing. sword Then here is a bent sword. Don't forget to equip it, and good luck to you, hero Emulgator. A shadowy room. No one is here but you and there is a strong sense of magical energy. Golden Fields: Save Room(7, 4). Exits are: South You have a new quest! It's sometimes pretty hard to figure out where the old text ends and where the new one starts. Maybe you could do a CLS after each new command or draw a line or something like that. This is just a first impression, since I didn't have the chance to play the game long enough (which I will do some time this week!). - kl4Uz
Ortak Report post Posted April 10, 2006 (edited) Good idea Klaus, I'm going to implement that. I look mostly at the forum for Darkened Dreams when I'm getting ready for an update, but I'll try to not to forget this one. Oh, and the game is software based. Right now just text, but I plan on upgrading it to 3D later on, and then into an MMO Edited April 10, 2006 by Ortak
