The problem here Trojan is that it was more than just one bad decision... he has shown to me that he has no respect for other people..and it seems that there were others that had issues with him as well. It is true that honor can take some time to gain/show but can be lost in an instant... And the simple fact that he has not really tried to defend his actions seems to show that he knows he has done the wrong thing...and nothing he says can change that...(he may have also realised that a post of the things he said would do more harm than good to his case). My attitude towards him may change if he makes a heartfelt public apology for his actions (by making a seperate post in general chat)..And I believe soad7777 would be happy if he returned xanters rost..But I wont be holding my breath......

Yeh especially when they are spotted buy large guilds..who then GM who they saw and where...and may even IG their friends/allies to share the fun

Unfortunatley in this world there are bullies than pick on those weaker just for cheap thrills...they probably get a kick out of being posted in outlaws too..These cowards are usually not strong enuff to fight the honourable players in pk areas..so they think they are great by killing noobs..when in reality they probably still get killed by black bears (in fact some may still get their backsides kicked by female armed gobs... ). Luring noobs is breaking a game rule...problem is most noobs would not know this...or know how to provide the proof that it happened...But all we can do as a community is turn our backs on these bullies..and the mods can make them Pkable as punishment...that is always a laugh for us...they are not so tough without their swords and plate and capes.

Errm so you say the first was missclick..ok benefit of doubt goes your way... But because OTHER people abused you you decided in your ultimate compassion to take it out on the person who you 'accidentally' killed in the first place....and keep the DB's....Now that sounds like a load of crap.. Why didnt you just ask all those people who abused you to come in to arena and shake your hand?? And as for your second 'reason' it sounds like somebody elses problem that you decided to tag on..If you have a valid reason...show proof in your defence that Lady did you wrong..

Sorry ManHunt.. I don't know your reasons (as many others would not). But personally if somebody publicly attacked me for such an action by posting in outlaws..and that person was on my PK list..I would defend myself..(with proof or something). Like if I just went and pked Tristran (even twice) and he posted me on outlaws..I would then put the post up (that is on the other link...) defending myself.. I dont really know you that well so it is hard to see both sides of story.. ***edit ... surely if you have such issues with lady_blackstone she would be aware of them? if that was the case why would she even go near you in PK area...(and twice to boot?)

If its other people training you are normally safe...(not just sitting around waiting..). But as with ALL pk areas caution is still required.... just because a place is empty..dont get lulled into false sense of security..You just never know who might stroll by.

I hope you made a pitstop at votd on way back and put away any valuables you had left.and healed yourself.. But that was another sly attack..and unfortunatly a common occurrance if you read back through some older outlaws postings.. And remember that the most successful con-men seem like the nicest guys in the world.....until they sting you.

Can I pay in Australian dollars? (actually I would rather pay in New Zealand dollars ). If not then it looks a little less enticing to me. And I dont like that Paypal thingie...and I can see where the people who cant afford or dont have credit card would be disadvantaged...But then again they are getting game free...(not like other mmorp's that could be mentioned).. so they cant really complain too loudly...

Errm Im not sure who is taking cheap shots dragon ,,,but I will take him on with his thermal ...I've never owned a magic sword. ..(at least i could relieve him of a few Roststones...) With luck I may get him to break his thermal on my iron helm.... As for fighting him..the first (and only ) time he fought me he was naked and hit me with 20gc ... (I also was naked..but only because i removed the armour I was wearing).... The second time I went to fight him at his request (this time he had full plate,,and at least a serp)...he ran away... ***Edit... quote mistake..

This is why I said to add a statistical analysis.. it will NOT give individual information..but it would give population data, so you would see at a glance where you stand.. you would have a mean (average)gc per player figure...A bottom figure (0 gc)... a maximum figure (who knows how many million gc)...A median figure (look it up)... and a breakdown.. like 0-1000gc bottom 10% of population .... 1000000gc + top 10% (even 5% increments). If you want to know where another player stands...ask them... that allows for the best privacy feature... **Edit I realise you were not interested in others gc... i did not mean this comment directly to you Torg.

I vote NO. The list would be pointless.. I go from 150k down to almost nothing on a weekly basis just leveling manu... The list would be fluctuating so wildly that it would never give an accurate assesment of where people stand.... what about people that save for a specific thing like a COL and a couple of magic swords?? they are deemed rich untill they buy these items then they are 'poor' again. And if a privacy feature is added where you dont have to display your level of GC then again..whats the point..it would never be a true indicator... I think the dev team would be better employed making a general population curve..The classic bell curve...(this would be a link on the main EL forum). where a daily/weekly statistical analysis could be displayed... Then each person could personally assess where they stand when compared to the general population (of EL ). Then if the person likes they can brag to their friends that they are say in the top 10% of EL in wealth (for tuesday of week 32 at 12.30pm).

LOL yeh your sitting on both of them... I just have one question to ask about this...why bagtrade at storage?? why not just use trade feature? The only thing I leave in bags at storage are fruit/veg or occasionally wine.

Yes I have not said anything due to the fact that I had not seen or heard anything bad about WoC as a whole... and some of my guildmembers were surprised when I mentioned the first incident as they said they know you and you were a good person (knowing that you were a high ranked member..but not believing you could be from the same mould as Tristran)..so to keep the peace I held my tongue...... Just after the wolf fur trade incident I pmed Tristran to tell him I would be recommending to my guild that they dont trade with him (I specifically said him...not WoC).. he then told me that WoC would pk Dao members...I had to pull the reins and say.."hold on... a trade ban on you is not a pk on sight order on your guild..." At this he backed off his PK all dao approach (well he said no more on that topic anyway). That was when he started calling me out to fight him..(that was first time in wsc arena... not the latter at nc arena...at first I thought he was trying to scam me..like lead me into trap or say no armour but pull out a weapon on attack....not that that would have saved him anyway ). Im sure you would not remain guildless for long... There would be many guilds that would welcome a player with your thinking with open arms.

Well Tristran is a pain and a timewaster..... He stuffed me around on market once saying he had 1000 or so wolf fur to sell..set price..then kept me waiting at votd for half an hour....turns up and just stands there ignoring all trade attempts or PM's.... Then I call him out in local and he calls me a noob and wants to fight me..(Im about double his stats...).. after a putting up with his insults etc calling me a coward for not fighting...I meet him at wsc arena...he turns up naked...gets another player to attack me..to see my strength (I was cool with other person..they died and had rost..so no drama..) finally he attacked me and was sent to hell in 2 hits..He dropped 20gc and thought it all a laugh....so I forget about it.. Fast forward a few weeks (or a month) and he sees me in nc storage.. wants to ff at arena... I say no Im too strong... he says he wants to ff with his plate and weapon (serp) and says he has rost.. I still say no..he keeps on about it...Then he goes out with another player to ff (cant remember name..would have to check log).... I think..well if he wants to lose a rost I will oblige...I head to nc arena... as soon as I turn up he runs off..saying "ive waited 5mins im not waiting anymore"..lol **Edit the person he went with told me they had a ff..Tristran had to diss twice... He probably didnt want to lose another diss ring on me ** I call him chickenshit in PM... then I accidently pm him when i was telling someone else what he did...he pm's me back with abusive comment...Insults my mother and then ignores me. At this point I would like to say I have nothing against WoC guild..(i dont really know any others ) but I know that Sundulana is a friend to some of my guildmates and I only hear good things about her...And I would not have posted this except it seems Tristran enjoys annoying people and stirring trouble..As far as I am concerned I will not waste another minute of my time on him...(that includes trading etc..).

You said that its ok to roleplay...Im sure the high ranked characters will love roleplaying.. as gangsters and 'police' slayers. How exactly will you poice these areas?? by saying "STOP" or I will say "STOP" again? or will you take it in your hands to PK anyone who dares to pk somebody who is harvesting on pk map? Well I do wish the pk maps were more 'populated' with the people I consider my enemies..Pity most of these are just loudmouths who would run like rabbit if they saw me in a pk map. any1 who can't take some1 about thier own health, (even the rules in my guild allow a difference of 1/4 health,) seriously needs to think about the makeup of their character and what is wrong w/ it. I dont understand this statement..It does not answer the question. Who cares about same health or whatever.I was brought up to believe that you never send another to solve your problems. If the problem is beyond you..then yes, seek assistance. Otherwise deal with it yourself. Problem is you want to populate the PK maps but then whinge and moan when people get pked... Not everyone who pk's another is an outlaw... And if you read the outlaw posts..The community at large does not consider PKing in a pk map as outlaw activity. If you want to continue your crusade for a set of ethics rules in PK..then good luck to you...You are doomed to failure...Things will not change..And issues will be dealt with on a case by case basis here in outlaws as they have for ages (well at least the year I have been on...and probably since game began). That is the purpose of the outlaws forum...If somebody feels wronged..they say so..and then the person they complain about has the right of reply.. (which can often show the original complainant up to be the true outlaw..) **Edit.. Still I bet if you dropped your wallet in real life with you credit cards ,license and a hundred bucks or so... you would be most apreciative if the person who finds it returned it to you. ! It is easy for players who have been around a while to brush off losses..even plate (i just make another).. But if you recall what it was (is?) like as a noob to put a lot of effort in to buy a sword/armour/whatever and then lose it....it is a good feeling to have the stuff returned. Then again if you got all your stuff as a noob by taking from bags.. you may feel inclined to justify your actions by saying that you dont care if others take your stuff too. Im sure the good lord looks favorably on those who perform charitable acts in real life... just as the EL community at large appreciates the players who act as good Samaritans ingame.

Technically he is not breaking game rules (although i think there is a post elsewhere where he lured a noob into pk...but proof would need to be provided). As it stands now I think most people put out a Guild message warning when he is seen lurking at spawns..and if I see him I tell those that I see fighting nearby to be cautious.. The best punishment for these types is to just refuse to trade/deal with them,,,,, pk him at every opportunity ...and generally give them a hard time (While staying within game rules yourself....so no abusive pm..chat etc,). When they get a real bad name they either dissapear (Legolas?) or change their approach to game and turn over a new leaf..(even though that may take a long time..as mud tends to stick)..

Erm its not picking on somebody.... I dont think you understand what it means to be added to somebodies pk list... If they are weak that is their problem.. they should show more respect... I know that If i was told by somebody much stronger than me that i was on their pk list... i would expect to be attacked every time that person saw me..and thus I would take care not to get caught..and if i did and i got killed then that would be my tough luck...I would take it like a man..(and not go sniffling off moaning about it). **Edit... And if somebody weaker than me told me i was on their pk list.. i would say .."ok..I will be in arena in 5 mins..see you there.." (But I dont think that happens very often..) And what kind of man gets he friends to take care of his problems??? what are you saying..send a weak friend to go fight your enemy and get him killed ??..that sounds pathetic to me. The long and the short of it...If you (not you personally ) go in pk expect to be attacked (by anyone)... if you are weak then stay away until you are stronger...If you get killed (wether you are weak or strong) take it like a man/or warrior woman ..and learn from the experience. There are plenty of places that are safe to train if you are willing to travel. If your sole reason for hanging in pk areas is to train..then go train on monsters... at least you get a more balanced a/d skill levels.. (instead of a heavily defence biased fighting skill).

if they're that much weaker than u, yeah. but u could get a friend or guildmate around the same material points as them (only reliable measure considering the privacy feature) to take them out and keep doing it. Yeh poo to that.. If somebody is on my PK list they are there for a darn good reason... I dont care what level they are..I will personally kill them...thats the idea of putting people on your PK list. Maybe when they get sick of you killing them they will get the message to either make amends (like apologise or repay db or whatever) or keep the hell away from PK areas untill they can defend themselves. If I had no gripe with the person they were PvPing with I would offer my apologies to that person and explain why I just sent their PvP partner to hell.. (I would like to point out that I do not have that many on my PK list...and most of them are on multiple guild/players lists).
