  1. What a forerunner our master truly is.

I've started with work from our predecessors. Continued with Stephen Hawking, Continued with Penrose and Kip Thorne and Lawrence Krauss. Goin on along with String Theorys Brian Greene and Edward Witten. Listening alot lately to Arkani Hamed. But when i got upon Erik Verlinde and hes probably fearful venture into Gravity as an Entropic force i found excellent citations like these:

If everything in the universe is affected by Entropy then the energy in vacuum must also be. Since the only way to effectively dilute that energy is to spread it over a larger area then that is why the universe is expanding and 'dark energy' is just a name for what's happening.

    So before his time.

I truly belive Entropy is holding the key to ToE.

    Please comment.

Here's a laugh for everyone. Odd theory of the day. If everything in the universe is affected by entropy then the energy in vacuum must also be. Since the only way to effectively dilute that energy is to spread it over a larger area then that is why the universe is expanding and 'dark energy' is just a name for what's happening.

  2. Perhaps a solution to this problems could be to increase the amount of non rare materials needed to make the great swords? (and other rare products?)

    Cutlass example:

2 serp stones and 1 binding

but approx 250 steel bars * 8 = 2000 iron ore and small amount of tit ore.

But do you get 1 binding stone for every 2k iron ore. No far from it.

So should more raw materials be needed? What do you think?

Im not sure if this has been suggested before and the conclusion was its a crap idea. If so just ignore me then lol :)

  3. Ingame name: Gastion

This is the last from error_log.log:

might be related or not, i dont know.

  4. Check your storage again

    Check your inventory again

Check you never dropped it into a bag

Check you had it in the first place

Check you weren't trading with someone

    WTF!!!

    Someone did edit my mess...

What i said first: "I played this game for a very long and very seldpm made any bug reports so ofdcourse i rouled oit all of that possibilities you counted up.. This was indeed somethinge else happened."

I played this game for a very long time as Graviton(ingame name) and this is one of the first bugreports i ever did.

But indeed it was something else that happened besides from what LabRat suggested.

  5. when I move thing from my storage to my inventory it just disappears.

Just now i watned to move 8 iron ore from my inventory my storage with 10 silver ore that went fine but my iron ore it went wrong (perhaps he thoughtend he would move 10 but since i only had 8 in storage som confligt arrouces.).

If this bug would happen with some much more valable it woould be very sad fpr thoose involved.

    So please look att this.

    Thanks for your time

    /Alexaander

  6. On the test server the cave between Nordcarn and Tarsengard is PK.. But perhaps it is supposed to be again like it was a couple of months ago?

Also the fence around Idaloran Cemetary is harvestable but i cant find it in the harvestable.lst file. (I cant harvest the fence but the harvest icon appears). (Just found out this is also the case on the main server with CVS client)

The banner in south-west Kusamura says; "please walk closer to the sign." I dont know witch banner it is, its one of the new, with a dragon above a red roses field

  7. Very interesting thread.

Is it really that important that we have missiles flying over fences? I think we should just implement a basic method first see how it works...

I think it could be done working great without adding a z high factor that i think _alias is talking about.

  8. Unfortunately that will happen. The data is saved when the client is closed cleanly, or when you log in again after disconnecting.

This isn't a bug in itself, it's a side effect of other bugs in the development client.

Yes, however the client crash for me everytime i exit thru alt-x. And this started when counters.c/h was added yesterday or if it was the day before that.

I cant debug it either to see whats wrong, cause i just updated to MSVC2005 and havent properly configured it yet.

I have also tested deleting the counter_something....dat file.

One suggestion: save the counter data atleast once per hour.

  9. If the client crash, statistics does not save. Also after a client crash today all of my data was erased. All kills, alchemy etc., all is gone.

I have had several crashes the last couple of day when i press alt-x to exit. So i guess that the data loss and data not being saved is due to this crash...

  10. Why is this patch no longer in CVS?

    o.O

Do you mean why can't you find it in the list? That would be because its been accepting, merged and committed. It is no-longer a patch, but part of the CVS code. If you are meaning something else then I've no idea what you are talking about.

when kills.c/h weas changed to counters.c/h there was a new #define; COUNTERS

so now its like it should be again :-)

  11. Begs the question as to why you play the game? And more so what type of players play the game.

You may want nothing more than to be a collector. In which case, such information seems valuable to you. Others may be explorers, in which case, finding that info themselves is valuable.

In either way, the game is not here to just put things before you. One way or the other, you will have to work at it. Even if that is paying the Explorer type for the information. Or *gasp* being patient until it becomes more common knowledge.

And think about this thread... if you ask me, one way to create renewed interest is the teasers. Everyone is now eager (and in some cases drooling) over what is going to be added. There are threads and conversations and no doubt some opportunists out there posed to take advantage of any and all info as it is released.

If you ask me, it sounds like the game is working just fine with the way the deal out information.

As I said, even if u players were in minority...

I was then referring to that most other mmorpgs have this kind of information of what u can do and what u cant do, what their stats are and what they're used for. I dont say i read a whole manual before playing a game. But no reson to get upset when some players ask why this game not provide all and/or delayed information.

I'd be interested to know where you got your statistics from.

If u read again, maybe u can see that it wasnt a statement.

  12. Now if that aint spoiling some of the players fun, then what is?

Can't please all of the people all of the time. No matter what we had decided, a group of people wouldn't like it. Sometimes we just have to make executive decisions how we want to do things and this is one of them.

And even if the dislikers group is in minority; no information or help is fair?

  13. I agree with Vitez and would like to add that if u like to search for things, maps etc. like some ppl here mentions, u can choose to do so by not looking in the 'changelog'.

You all have to agree that u have seen ppl get angry and mad for the ridiculous answears like 'no i cant tell u where second continent is because its a secret'. Now if that aint spoiling some of the players fun, then what is?

  14. then if we want to go to c2 we need to switch servers...

no, this is done by the servers itself

Entropy and I have also had discussions on splitting the work between multiple servers without splitting the the game itself. It will be a while before that will be needed ... I could see a server upgrade being able to handle 5k players easily based on the current figures I've seen.

    sounds good :P
