I believe that 39 is sort of a hell level or something... the exp to get to 41 was less than to get to 40 if I remember correctly. EDIT: Oops I was a little slow on the draw...

I voted no because I like being able to find what I'm looking for.... If the 'spawns' had between 50 and 100 of the ore... and they wern't too rare... it might not be too bad... I would love to try it out on the test server... see how it would work out...

I have a question before I vote... Currently someone who has to characters and drops something in a bag for their other character is cheating and breaking the spirit of the rules.... Will they now get amnisty, and be allowed to make those bag trades? If I make a bag trade with the guy who rents a room in my house, do I have any assurance that I will not be acused of breaking the spirit of the rules? If those bag trade may later be considered breaking the spirit of the rules, then I would have to vote to allow 'illegal multiplaying'... This really is a question of gaining security at the cost of some liberties... and is a difficult question.

Could probably even fit the full install (for windows) and source code. So people could do a more permanent install when they were ready.

Do you get an error msg... if so what does it say? If not, have you downloaded the game?

Welcome to an awesome game... Ways to get food... *You can sell furs and raw meat to the tavern and use the gold to buy food there. *You can now take raw meat and place it in the fire just NE of the Tavern using the fist icon. (This is a new and exciting addition to the game.) *There is a bread spawn on the West side of the island... ask for help finding it in local chat or the newbie channel. *And later when your Harvest level is higher you can gather your own fruits and vegetables... Don't be quite so negative.... It has some serious technical challenges and may not even work... but it's worth thinking about. The live CD versions of CD's could write to a temporary folder on a HDD couldn't they... and I'm sure that a script could be written to detect, at least the most common vid cards/LAN setups (would not be easy, but could be possible). There are some other serious challenges.... They would have to have the server update the client on every load automatically... (that could add up to a lot of bandwidth). Would never be able to work on Every computer that the full client install would work. Any significant upgrade to the client, even new maps and such, would mean a new release of the CD (and brand new coasters) Et Al. I think it is a good idea when the game is out of beta and is 'finished'.

If exp lost was indexed to level somehow, I think that would be better... even 100 exp is a lot to a newbie, but it is only 0.1% of an OA level to me right now...
