  1. Crafter's Strike

Mortar & pestle is a tool. And I think alch doesn't need to be slowed down. Most Ess and bar prices seem pretty stable to me. Think about the HE, there is no need to stop mass production there because they are used in masses. Sometimes when people try to buy HE and SR on market, they try for like hours, and don't get any. No problem there.
  2. Crafter's Strike

I don't think that would matter much, since this would involve a lot of clicking to get the ingredients of another product into the manu window. And you would only be able to 2 - 3 different kinds of products at the same time anyway.
  3. Crafter's Strike

Well, that's why I thought of the tools to have the cooldown. The coding shouldn't be too different, as I understand it. And yeah, with pots we don't have a problem either. Sometimes, when ppl get really desparate, you can even sell for more than the NPC price, since they wouldn't have to take them to storage like 30 at a time and/or got antisocial.
  4. Crafter's Strike

Well, actually I kinda like the idea, but this way it doesn't seem to be balanced right. Right now, I'm sitting in the mines to make HE. I can make 400 of them and that takes about 180 fruit. It takes about 20-30 minutes to make them all. If I could eat only once in a minute, this would take me 3 hours, which would be more than boring. And I don't think we really have a problem with HE, they are made by the thousands and used by the thousands. Wouldn't it be better to have high cooldown values on tools like hammers? The rings could be changed to require some sort of jewelry hammer to be in the inventory. So each item category could be adjusted by itself and wouldn't have any side effects on others.
  5. Some ques.

I would suggest not to use the name eBay, though. I don't know if eBay does this, but companies sueing someone over such things is not unheard of.
  6. Market website

Probably, yes. It would at least get you off the suspicion that you are fishing for passwords. I haven't tried it, but if you implemented or are planning to implement features like listing one's offers and deleting specific offers through the bot, you could build on that.
  7. questions about linux

If you just download it, it won't do anything. You have to install it, which means you have to make some partitions on your hard drive to install it on. Probably you won't have any free space (not taken by any other partition) on your hard drive. To just try linux and look what it's like, it's a lot of changes to your computer. My suggestion is to try Knoppix. It's a linux distribution that boots from a CD, doesn't make any changes, and lets you try and see what it's like. I haven't tried it myself recently but it's supposed to have very good hardware recognition. Just take a look at the ->Knoppix homepage<-
  8. A Few Minor Changes

They can't do that because part of the game is to teach Players how to navigate on their own. Player's need to know how to reach places by navigating the map and not just have the game automatically do the work for them. Errm, isn't something like this already in the game? I mean, how much different is opening the map and clicking on the spot where you want to go, especially with the elrocks maps? I mean, there already is an autowalking feature in the game, why not give us the ability to autowalk to a specific set of coordinates. If would just use a different kind of user input.
  9. Market website

A lot of people re-use their passwords for different things. I think they do this, so they don't have to remember all the different passwords for all the different things. So if you ask for passwords, you'll surely get some that work with those people's EL account. Or their mail account, bank account, whatever. Edit: I think I forgot to make the point that re-using passwords is a stupid thing to do.
  10. A Few Minor Changes

I'd like that, it would add some fun to the game. But I don't think it's a "minor thing", at least considering the work to be done. I'd really like that one. It would also make it a lot easier to recover your deathbag. Just go back to the map you died, type in the coordinates and walk to where you died. Of course, you have to know the coordinates, but you can get them by clicking on the compass and checking the console windows if you die. No more guessing where to go and adjusting the walking direction when you get there.
  11. Purple Lightning FLashes

I'm having this problem too. But I think at least in my case it is due to overheating. I got it after switching to a new case, for which I have no fitting fans. EL is using all the CPU time it can get. If I switch to another desktop, it uses less, so I can keep playing as long as I want. But that is just a workaround until I find the time to buy and install some new fans.
  12. Ok, I did't read all of this thread, so i may repeat some other's statements, but I'm gonna give my opinion. First of all, concerning the EFEs, instead of making new formulas for existing items, it would have been better to introduce new items that use them, like steel plate using 2 EFE and titanium plate using 3 EFE. And instead of Trik not buying iron shield any more, it would have been better to introduce titanium shields (using 1 EFE), that he is not buying. I think a lot of people would have liked that, and very few people would have complained. Harvesting: It is really boring as it is right now. It should get faster with a higher harvesting level, so it would be all right if the harvesting limit would be set to more than 120 successful harvests/hour or even dropped completely. It's too hard now to get to a useful level in harvesting. Alchemy: It just takes to long to make FEs. How is anyone supposed to get the EFEs to make even a single iron plate mail? Especially if you consider the time one has to spend on harvesting. I hope this update will get adjusted some more, like the last harvesting update has. Right now it really takes the fun out of this game.
