I said YES With how close it is, I don't think either decision should be made right now, I believe that it should be kept and played with longer before another vote or maybe tweak is made.

Personally the no drop day doesn't hurt me much, I'm more into exp anyway. Though looking at the whole picture, what about new players that happen to join on a day like today, or one of the other bad days that prevents you from say fighting a monster, or not getting any drops. How would you expect them do to the tutorial npc quest to get some armor? I believe that a character should be a certain amount of days or say a week or two old before the random days affects it, because new players could become confused, and upset if they aren't able to do certain things when they first join the game and might be immediately turned away. Just an observation.

Magpielee you know there is a #day command to show you if it is or not. Maybe I'm not understanding if you want more from a #date command.

Personally I like the cooldown at how it is, there are some minor things that could be tweaked but I think its done well so far.

As I said, I'm not against random events at all, I think that it definately sets EL apart from other games because its personally the first time I've experienced this type of thing in a game. Though what I was getting at is trying to accomodate for new players or players that just like to do one thing. I know there are players that just love combat and basically nothing else, and I think it could put a damper on those players if they can't do what they would like to. Yes I know it is rare for the "peace day" to happen, though I'm just trying to possibly help improve the idea.

I believe that completely preventing people from attacking monters is taking away from a huge part of the game, what about people that just join the game, how would you expect them to accomplish much of anything. If your going to have that, you might as well add days in which you cant to potion, alchemy, harvesting even and I doubt you would get much support for that. Some of these ideas are fine, but some of them I'm surprised are even being used.

Question about fasting days, will you be able to take feasting pots to get your food lvl up? Because if for 6 hours you can't raise food level, that totally would kill doing stats like potion, alchemy, or researching a book.

Haven't posted in awhile, been kinda busy, still checking up on the game though. I'm gonna be having some more time to play coming up so I figure I should post this First off I'd like to say hey to those that still remember me and played when I did, game has really changed a lot, love the new looking interface. Anyways, I was possibly looking for some new player "tips" I guess you would say. Like where to train fighting skills basically, and possibly some other skills. I used to know a lot about the gaming having been an Eternal Guard member back when it started, but since then the game has changed dramatically. So any helps/tips for a "new olbie player" would be helpful Cya around, Pyderz
