I have read the thread. I am not a computer Guru. What did I miss please, I would love to enjoy the sky client as much as MOST people here do. I have been frustrated to near baldness since skyclient version 2 and am willing to try whatever you suggest, I even reread the thread.

1 May 2008 Oh wow! This is totally awesome! Or was for a minute or two, then I got the weird rainbow of colors again, but so far it hasn't crashed the client but still would be unplayable. But then crashed the client when leaving Nordcarn storage. Will lurk and see what comes of it. 2 May 2008 Tried it again, didn't get any screenshots because as soon as I started moving the client crashed. What I saw before it crashed was lovely, it is a shame I cannot keep it working. Rainbow effect is same as pictures posted in the Test2 version, streaky rainbow lines on various planes merging and making it impossible to see anything else.

I had some difficulty with the Tutorial NPC quest. I was "born" during the evening (gargoyles were awake) AND it was a No Drop Day! Needless to say, it took me several hours to complete the quest. On another note, the Tutorial NPC states that there are five types of flowers on IP, I have located a sixth that is not asked for during the quest; white asiatic lily. Is there the possibility of doing a check on those that wish to leave the island via boat, a warning perhaps that states something to the effect of "if adventurer is new to game (perhaps check by how long they've played), then warn them of the dangers of gargoyles in Whitestone when they attempt to board the boat at night." Something simple like "Gargoyles roam Whitestone freely at night, are you sure you want to go now?"

Toshiba Satelite laptop, Intel ® Core 2 CPU, T5200 @ 1.60GHz, 1.60Ghz, 1.49 GB Ram (I know, I know, had I known before I bought it I'd have bought something else), 945 chipset, can't update the software for it and can't install any other video card for it. (really wish I'd known before I bought it). Microsoft Windows XP, Media Center Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2 Not sure what other information you need or how I'd find it. The game has been rendered unplayable (at least with this new client) as it keeps crashing within moments of attempting to move or do anything. Installed, crashed upon bootup. Rebooted client, made setting changes per your instructions, crashed. Working on the Potion Quest, I went to check Michael's order. Second sentence of Michael's reply has the word received incorrectly spelled as recieved instead. Easy way to remember the correct spelling is "I" before "E", except after "C". Same typo is also discovered further in the quest when Erokin complains about the mixup in his order.
