  3. This is the entire list of options you can put in the different tags. It also includes the new area attributes. For many of the cases, 1 means Yes, 0 means No (as usual), so assume that's the case unless I specify differently. Default: 1> Based on the line allow summoning, it seems that summoning can be turned off for the whole map can it be turned off for smaller areas only? If yes, what would be the correct wording/format? If summoning is turned off for the map, or a small area, could summoning stones still be used? If summoning stones can still be used, is there a way to turn them off also? If yes, what would be the correct wording/format? Thank you for any information that can be provided Ice
  4. Guild map question (Summoning)

Thanks for the quick answer reply! Ice
  5. Bot marketplaces

I have not read all the recent threads, but I like the idea of a new area (map) created as a market place. If the new area was created and all new bots had to populate that area, that would solve future problems. The current bot owners would have option of moving their bot(s) to the new area. Picking the prime locations on a first come first serve basis. It would be nice to have several of the current maps to have an entrance into the marketplace, but only one or two exits... IP for C1 and Anitora for C2 (you could create another npc to charge entrance onto the C2 map. The central part of the map could have a storage, but not allow mixing or spell casting on the map at all! People could use the market place to get around the scotties dead perk, but you still can't use beam anytime you want, and if you create a maze it would not be a big advantage. People could use this map as a central meeting place for deals, and would be a great central place to purchase items needed! This is just a suggestion that I came up with while thinking about this all weekend! A few new idea's to add The bots closest to storage might be able to access storage, and renting one of those premium spots could cost more! just a thought. Also if the area was created without local chat allowed.... that would be nice, I hate some of the silly conversations, and petty bickering that goes on around storage's. JusT a few added thoughts!
  6. Man (player) eating leopard

Sounds like an interesting idea, will the creature be more likely to stalk people that are walking around with 50% health? Most predators would chose to stalk wounded prey as it would easier to kill? Maybe if you keep you health up, would mean less chance to be attacked?
  7. Mage class, Fighter class

I suggested this a long time ago, but how about adding an Arcane Nexus, that would be needed for Mages. Spell Level 1-10 level - No Nexus 11-20 - 1pt Arcane Nexus needed 21-30 - 2pt Arcane Nexus needed 31-40 - 3pt Arcane Nexus needed 41-50 - 4pt Arcane Nexus needed This would help separate the class's and if you really wanted to make it difficult for the dual class battle mage, then require that the arcane nexus be subtracted form the highest human nexus armor. If you were wearing a thermal serpant sword you would need an arcane nexus of 10 to cast 1-30th level spells. It's JusT a thought.
  8. EMP weapon

Hmmmm want to think about this.... first gut reaction was it's crazy. Second though was well the mecury harvesters will have a way of screwing with fighters.
  9. Infinate Slots in Storage?

Love the update, and love the new hats, that can only be bought from EL store.... but I storage strategies will not allow me to purchase any
  10. Infinate Slots in Storage?

I ressurected this thread, not because I want infinate storage, but because it's a thread about storage space. Yes I like using strategy in the game.... Organizing storage based on projects and skills is a pain, and many high price items, I save up for a big push, or at least to make multiple items instead of 1-2 at a time. As the game improves, with each new update, some items you have stored, might have little use at the time and could be very important later. I have given alot of stuff away because limited space, just to find out a week later that I needed it. I really just wanted to see if other felt the same way I did about this topic!
  11. Infinate Slots in Storage?

I know this is an old/ancient topic..... but do ppl still feel the same? I did some quick checking, am sure I missed a few items! 260 different books 194 Items that can be made/manued 63 harvestable items 35 buyable only items maybe more 552 items, and I'm sure I missed a few things this does not include the recent engineering skill manuable items It's just a question, plz don't get bent out of shape!
  12. Vista

I will be able to purchase 1 copy of vista for $5.00 throught the college, but I will not install it for a 6-12 months. I prefer to allow time for more of the bugs to be worked out before switching over.
  13. doing a matter essence project in MM, and WeeTodd Jumpep on our bag removing some matter essences.... the essences are not that big a deal, but figured would be nice to warn everyone what kind of player he is!!!!
  14. Red Dragon

This was using giants summoning stones. had 12 giant stones several fluffy and sslessar stones . 4 giants were able to take the dragon down I think lost one giant, and severly damaged another. Dragon respawn time is several minutes. Trying with only one dragon does not work... need the combined hits of multiple giants to do the job. 1st drop was 23gc 2nd drop was 743gc 3rd drop was 456gc No items were dropped
  15. Client RC available.

Zirakinbar map [61,263] through [61,245], and [64,265] through [64,246] the bridge walkable tile's are 4 wide, but it looks as though you a balanced on the bridge rail, with one foot walking on air. At [61,245] your standing 1/2 way inside the pillar.
  16. bot owners...

Same problem exist with the Axe of Freezing.... at least that is what I heard
  18. So are we (the summoners) happy now?

I understand that, and completely agree, my point was, that the summoning stones are way to cheap! With the current NPC prices, the cost of purchasing a stone versus the cost of ingredients to make a stone, are out of proportion. Titanium Plate armor (the most difficult ingame item to make except Yeti, Artic Chim, and Giant summoning Stones) recommends level 62 to make, cost of ingredients: 5 Hydrogenium Bars 40,000gc 30 Titanium Bars 1,500gc 4 Enriched Fire Ess. 14,000gc Estimated cost to make 55,500gc NPC sell price 100,000 This allows a great chance to profit form it’s manufacture. Giant Summoning stone recommends level 75 to make, cost of ingredents: 1 Enriched Magic Essence 4,400gc 3 Enriched Life Essence 8,751gc 1 Binding Stone 7,440gc Estimated cost to make 20,591gc NPC sell price 22,000gc This allows very little if any chance to profit, bassed on failure rate
  19. So are we (the summoners) happy now?

I love the idea of summoning stones, I really do, but with this new addition, it removes the need for a guild to have a high level summoner. With the NPC cost of high level summoning stones, the time and cost, in gold coins, to develop a high level summoner is not worth it. You would be able to buy hundreds of high level summoning stones with that money instead. If you get to level 65 summoning, and take god blessing to get level 75 summoning, you now have a 50% chance to make a giant summoning stone. If you fail, there is a ?% chance that you will lose ingredients. Currently the ingredients for creating high level summoning stones are: Yeti Summoning Stone: 1 Enriched Water Essence 3750gc 1 Enriched Life Essence 2817gc 1 Binding Stone 7440gc Estimated cost for creating a summoning stone: 14107gc NPC price 12000gc Artic Chim Stone: 1 Enriched Water Essence 3750gc 1 enriched Life Essence 2817gc 1 Binding Stone 7449gc 3 Extra Mana Potions 1200gc Estimated cost for creating a summoning stone: 15307gc NPC price 15000gc Giant Stone: 1 Enriched Magic Essence 4400gc 3 Enriched Life Essence 8751gc 1 Binding Stone 7440gc Estimated cost for creating a summoning stone: 20591gc NPC price 22000gc The price's of the essences were taken as an average of the following trade bot prices: C2_Trader, ShrimpTaco, Thor, Charn, Iduna, Richery, Shari, and Luxe It can be argued that the price's of ingredients can be argued, but I feel that the prices listed are a pretty good median. Considering the estimated cost of ingredients above, you only save 1,409gc for making a giant stone, instead of buying from NPC. This indicates that a high level summoner would need to make 15 giant stones with only one critical failure to break even with the NPC price. All this being said, summoners have no need to go in to the battle field. To summon a giant on the field uses the following ingredients: 5 Enriched Life Essences 14585gc 2 Enriched Magic Essences 8800gc Estimated cost for summoning 23412gc It’s cheaper to buy the stone, and the stones only takes 1 slot for how ever many giants, where the summoner will fill 4 slots, as well as a lose of 60/40 mana per giant summoned. You ask for an opinion from summoners, well here is mine. I’m not saying it’s broke and needs to be fixed, or (if) people think it’s broke, how to fix it. I’m just stating the facts as I see them. It’s way to cheap/easy for fighters to carry a few giant stones in inventory as an (in case of emergency). Again these are just my opinions, dismiss them if you wish. Edited for spelling errors
  20. So are we (the summoners) happy now?

    1) I noticed that counters do not keep track for summoning stones, would be nice if they did. 2) I have heard much talk about cooldown. I would like to suggest a warm up period. You click the summonin stone and it takes 10-20 seconds to release(wake up) the summoned creature. If you change maps, would have to start over. this would keep anyone from jumping on pk map using a stone and jumping back out. It would also allow true summoners an advantage if carried the ingredents with them instead of stones.... JusT a though! Edited for spelling
  21. Buyable nexuses

I also voted NO! The people that will benefit form this the most are the straight line fighters that spend 7 in Human nexus and maybe 2 In inorganic... I guess a few might splurge and have spent 4 in Vegetal also. These players already put most of their PP's in P/C, and could now start "buying" the other nexus they want. If you do this it will not be fair to everyone unless a global PP reset is done, and this will not be fair to people that have just reset in the past few weeks. Straight line fighters can easily pk and sell/trade their prize for the bars. To those players that have always wanted to do everything, or already spent the Nexus PP's for being able to do all skills this would be very unfair. YES, all the all arounders could reset and build their levels back up, but that's not fair either. The fighters would not need to reset.
  22. Manu School

I was making iron helms in portland manu school, got the 2x exp but it never showed up in my view stat's window counters (manufac) page.... I do have an entry for "Steel Bar" that showed up after making the helms, with 18 this session, which was my successe rate for the iron helms. Steel bars was what I had made just before going into the manu school and making the helms. Now when I make helms in the manu school, nothing is updated on that page. Made one in storage and created the field properly as well as total. Went back into manu school and started keeping track of iron helms being made as intended. Tried the same with leather gloves, the field was already present but would no udate it. untill I made a product outside school then worked fine. Logged out and back in, will not update current fields again. I hope this is enough info to solve this problem if it's worth worrying about.
  23. guild map spawns

This would be cool, definetly make the guild maps more interesting This is already happening, players with cash can buy the new special/unique armors for $$$ I could care less if it happens or not, but could be a great source of income for the developers. Instead of buying spawns, you rent them on a monthly basis. This might cause a bit of trouble to keep track of, but every month a scheduled update could occur spawn rental starts at begining of month and extends till next scheduled update. I've never had to much trouble finding spawns, and if they are busy, or someone's being an jackass then I go do other stuff. Thnaks for the new spawn's will have to go looking around again and see what has changed
  24. joining a guild

I partially agree with this one, what if the guildmaster could invite you to avoid the spelling issues? From a role playing point of view it would be nice if all this was done in a dialogue similar to the trade window, ie you have to see eachother ingame to be able to join a guild. Great idea,
