Here's hoping this is the right section for this post. Today, both bots of our guild LotN, were essentially robbed of their gold coins by a tiny glitch in their code. It's being looked into as we speak, so for now we'd recommend all who use the deathadder bot code to disable trading from their bots and look for the latest update with the code as soon as possible, to prevent your bots from being "robbed" as well. What if you can only use it on people who are on the same screen as you, or within so many squares/tiles/whatever? That would prevent summoning friends to gang somebody, because if they're already on the same screen as you they can pretty much jump in any time anyways.

Too easy to avoid... set "AFK Time" to 0 and server will never set you as AFK...and nobody would willingly type #afk if they thought they might get items stolen...

I'm running Firefox 3.0.4 with all the latest updates, and playing EL at the same time... no problems. My Firefox has 8 open tabs, one of which is Youtube at the moment, which I imagine would use quite a bit of bandwidth/CPU usage/whatever it is I'm talking about again Anyways, my CPU usage is averaging something like 28%, but it jumps from about 13 to 40 sometimes. Task Manager shows 39 processes running (including EL and Firefox)... and Commit Charge is averaging about 1/3. Just figured I'd put my stats into this... Firefox causes no problems to me. [Edit] FPS usually runs at 39 (my cap) unless I'm in an area with lots of people or objects, but that's often solved by rotating camera for me. [/Edit]

Sorry, Silver is worth 3gc each now? Shucks, I've been wasting time with iron. Just pointing out that perhaps silver bar wasn't the best example. (I thought price was 2ea, so it would be 16+6+12=34.. which is some profit for making the bar.)

It occurs to me that it would be easier to ask multiple questions here than channel 4, so: (I'll re-list the questions I already asked, so others can see I guess) As per the "Random" part - will every harvestable is numbered and a random number is generated? Would there be some sort of system so that a harvestable couldn't be "removed" twice in a row? (though this is unlikely) Will some items be exempt from the possibility? (Like the level 0 or 1 harvest items?) Will there be a notification of what item was "removed" or will the player just find out when they try to harvest it? How? Sorry, just confused Will there be situations where more than 1 item cannot be harvested during that time? Example: All types of mushroom can't be harvested (including red toadstool), both types of lilly can't be harvested, or all types of quartz can't be harvested. Apologies for any questions answered while I was slowly typing away at this Edit: Usl, I like your version also particularly this part: It'd be like paying taxes to the government so they will fix the roads/etc and we can get where we want to go

I've decided I want to improve my a/d experience, for faster O/A levels. What I don't know, is the best way to do this...so I'd like some advice. WITHOUT having to reset, what are your opinions on where to go from my current stats: P/C/R/W/I/V 16/28/4/12/6/8 A/D 40/48 Note: Godless character I've been training on female orcs for my last ~8 levels. Can't seem to advance to males though. (Females do less than 10 damage average, males do about 50-70..) Usually wear: steel chain/iron greaves/steel shield/augmented pants (Another note: I don't want to be pure fighter with many neg perks.. I just want to be able to get more than 10K exp per hour )

I was wandering the treetops in Willowvine, looking for things to shoot at with my bow, when I noticed a Cockatrice walking very near me. From past experience I know that they can hurt me when I'm in the treetops (I don't have monster magnitism), so naturally I stepped farther away. However, the cockatrice kept coming closer, and stopped right next to the fence below the treetop bridge. I was afraid to move, because I thought I'd found a safe spot, so I waited for the cockatrice to walk away first...but it never walked away, and my guild members + myself could shoot at it without harm. Long story short, there appears to be a bug(?) where a monster can try to attack somebody without monster magnitism, but being unable to reach the player, stop at the nearest possible location and become "stuck". As long as the player stays in sight of the monster, it won't move. I really think this is a bug... It appears I can recreate this "bug" at almost any point in willowvine. I can get screenshots if necessary, but I think coordinates would be hard as it can happen in so many places. If its not a bug.. sorry for posting here.
