    I was playing EL and I made a smart comment a bought the rules of EL to a mod so I got the "read the rules" "dont argue with the rules" thing.

    When I started playing again my character was a female!!!

    Please can I have it changed back?

     

     

     

    Nobody changed your character to a female. You chose a female avatar. A number of us saw you running around with a female avatar.

    This is beyond ridiculous, def_rhymz. If you have to ask if doctor has played before it underscores that you should NOT be posting to the bans section of this forum. I suggest that you refrain from posting further until you read the forum rules.

    If you are catching occasional range bans, that may be the case.

    it wont help to just say very..tell them what happened and why and if you have proof of why it wasnt against rules and then they will take a look at it, and if you can prove it they may unban you unless you make up excuses and if you dont get your account back its because i believe their trying to teach you a lesson..(not meant in a bad way not to offend you or nothing=) ) and maybe you will get your account back and if not just try to get a new account and just start again i supose even if it was hard to get the stats back up near you old ones...

    Spamming is not a very effective way to get unbanned. Perhaps there's something of substance that you'd like to say?

    Hopefully a quick post because it's the same old discussion again.

     

    I've been a top manufacturer longer than most of you posters have played the game.

     

    I've spent time in the top 20 of every skill except a/d (top 30.)

     

    We as individuals all need to take stock and accountability for our actions and behaviors. You might like for manufacturing to be easier but what effect will that have on the game and everybody else? You might complain about crafters having it easy, but did you know that crafters complained about manufacturers having it easy for ages?

     

    This is not a real life economy. But in a way if we view the game economy in the right frame we might learn something. Do you work in an attempt to gain experience and levels? Do you work simply to get gold coins? If

    I'm not entirely convinced that there is a 'problem' per se. I've yet to see somebody clearly state what the 'problem' is and show me that is the case.

     

    Manufacturing is hard to level. - Yep, would you prefer it be easy and for everybody to be able to make all the items they need? Doesn't sound like a good way to make money.

     

    Manufacturing is not profitable. - There's a reason we have skill levels and not gold coin levels. Gold is simply a means to an end. Do you play to get rich or do you play to have fun and level your character?

     

    It's work, just like any other skill. It's up to you what you want to invest in it. It's also up to you whether or not you want to take your own actions into account when looking at the bigger picture (for yourself and for the larger community.)

     

    If that was too obtuse, sorry. I don't really have the time or inclination to get all explainey n whatnot.

    Anyway, best of luck to my fellow manuers.

    Personally I'd rather be left off any lists.

    This is definitely a positive and cool step in managing the game economy. Just one note of caution that there may be unforseen consequences of making too much "private" information public. What they might be... no clue, but the possibility does I think warrant some consideration.

    Is it too much to ask that you all try to understand that the game is beta and that everybody who works on the game volunteers? It's not like Ent is blizzard or some massive conglomeration with 50 coders. It was an oversight. Ent's been quick to try and fix problems with books and mixing formulas etc. How many of you said thanks with even 1/10 the fervor with which you complained when something displeased you?

     

    Just something to think about.

    I have slept little hours (for few days) in order to become a crafter!

    You see in my store and see 1k sapphire, 1k ruby ecc..ecc...

    I have past entire nights to sell flowers and to click on the same points!

    is this the punishment for my precision? If yes you must see again your system!

     

    You are the boss, it involves to you as you prefer.

     

     

    You got to be fucking kidding us.

    You were macroing for a few weeks, then finally got caught and locked.

    And please, do not deny it, we are tired of this.

    Several mods attempted to communicate with you over a period of time using various methods. It is VERY clear that you automated your harvesting. It is also very clear that you are lying.

    There is as I'm sure you are all aware, nothing we can do about the above.net routers. We get to wait just like everybody else.

    On the brighter side of life you can go get your monthly dose of sunshine so you don't have a vitamin D deficiency and get rickets. Also so you don't burst into flame the next time you walk into full sunlight.

    When you return please remember to put your cloak on. And no running inside the game with or without scissors.

    Ah yea we could certainly introduce a conceit to explain the different writing styles. Perhaps an acolyte of Lyanna's or somesuch finished the work at a later date. Might provide some interesting meta storytelling. I'll toy around with this during the week and see if I can make it workable. And I'll mull some ideas for alternates should something really cool come to mind.

    It could be the rage card. Since we just upped to a new client version there may be a problem related to that.

    Check your driver versions. Perhaps there's even an omega driver.

    Also the specific error message may help. I'm not familiar at all with the 'inverse of singular matrix'. And the specific behaviors. Also try to include the other info requested in the trouble shooting guide pinned to the top of the forum.
