    Ok, like I said I just didn't like how it was conducted. Perhaps that's just my own personal complexity. I do like your reasons but maybe it's better to be direct so that the message is without "noise". Thank you for being up front with me. I do value your opinions.

    As much as I value opinions I feel somewhat apprehensive that you would shoot off a bunch on questions in order to make a point then answer your own questions later in order to further the point. Next time can you just make a point? You just devalued my input. By no means do I mean to say we should argue the contents of each other's opinions.

    Ok lets answer the questions: 1) This skill would bring a new demension to the process of hunting making it perhaps a little bit more in depth and maybe more interesting. It would make the act of killing creatures an acual hunt rather than just killing. Ultimately it would change the users perception of the game. 2) It adds a certain amount of realism. Although it makes the game more difficult. The question to answer this question is does the game need to be more difficult? 3) It effects the economy directly and should be reflected in NPC buying prices therefore changing the overall economy. I can't see how it could be abused as long as the effect is global. 4) Only by making the good more valueable to the economy can it be a worth while skill to implement. The skill would most likely be added to the manufatureing catagory.

    I suppose my point is the information really needs to be centralized and the user should without thinking know where to look up the information. Unfortunately with the current interface the in game encyclopedia isn't apparent because of the mystery meat navigation. For it to be effective it should be apparent to the newb that the encyclopedia exists. Perhaps what should happen in the case of making the encyclopedia more prominent is that it should the first thing on your screen when you start the game. One of my favorite web interfaces was a flash page for Star Breeze game devision. In it a fairy called Daria (or something like that) would come on to the screen, wizz around, and tell you what buttons do what. It was extremely useful and stunning as it had an acual voice over. Another idea: make the wraith more useful by making it an in game guide. For instance for a certain amount of time depending on what happens it might pop up and tell you what to do. For instance your food level gets too low, the wraith avatar pops up, and a tip about "maybe you should buy some cooked meat from the tavern" comes up.

    I think I'm confused by what you mean by client side. Do you mean in which way the game client works? If so we're all talking about the same thing. Or if you are saying that the tradeing system should be all command line doesn't that complicate the matter? In any game you need an interface that is intuitive and flows. Hence the new topic.

    User decides on the interaction: User chooses items to transfer: User selects the exact amount for transfer: This concept would push the user through the item transfer process faster, therefore clearing the area around it quicker, therefore allowing better access.

    you wil meany weany!! look, if your gonna give EL shit, have some good reasons and its in BETA!!! if you cant take the BETA dont play the BETA if its so bad, donate to it, help it out in some way, or dont play, or dont complain yes its not PERFECT. Sorry not meet you convinience. But it DOES work, it may take a little time, but it WORKS. The developers are working on other stuff more important than the making it more convinient for the poor wil pwayers dont like it being crowded? donate a server dont like the trading system? Make some code that works, put into your client, and if it works, show a pic on programming forum with the code Mike you ignorant f**k. I am helping. Who else is doing sound effects? And why would I play this game if I thought it sucked? Can it. Being a multimedia developer I know a little more about beta testing than you do and I am not content as a BETA TESTER to just play the game mindlessly. Did you even know that you are essentially testing the game? Geez, you think you make a few maps and then you're all of a sudden some authority...
