A very annoying factor in Eternal Lands is that if you are not right next to something, you cannot use it. I suggest automatically approaching the target and doing the action (fight, talk, trade, etc.) instead of this message. (I am aware that doors already do this.) If the mouse button is held down rather than clicked, your character should simply approach the target until the button is released. (Doors do not do this.) This makes hunting rabbits and various other things less of an annoyance. Another suggestion similar to this goes as follows. If you click somewhere on the terrain, you will go to it. That already happens. But like the previous suggestion, [when the mouse button is held down] your character should pursue the current location of the cursor until it is released. :arrow: :!: Both of these ideas are exactly the same as in Diablo II, an excellent computer game.

I've never played Runescape, but the people here at EL remind me a lot of the people at Macintosh. Anyway, why do there have to be separate PK maps? There should just be a PK window. The window will have a checkbox. It will say PK on/off. If you check it, anyone else who has it checked can attack you. On PK maps, you will have to turn PK on, but on other maps, it should be optional. Well, not anyone. Also in the PK window will be a numericupdown. There is the level range you can fight. There would also be a checkbox allowing any level player to fight you. PS: Of course there are levels in EL, goatsgomoo. Even though I have not played for a while, I am quite sure that has not changed.

You all seem to like the Smilies quite a bit... Most of them are made from They have 1 or 6 frames, I believe. Draw upon them with this color pallete, and create your own smiley. I realize that there are some smilies that have different templates, (Black, blue, green, and pink) but all I could come up with so far is yellow. If this forum had ratings, mine would probably be skyrocketing now.

Potions?! Manufacturing?! How about a tailor sells you clothes/boots, and a magic shop sells you heads/hair? It should be like, 1 gold to change one thing in your appearance. *Talzon looks like crap now, but when he gets his armor and cape, he will be the coolest thing "evar"!* PS: Holy smeginators! I lost nearly 2 posts per day in the time I stopped logging on!

Maybe we could have it so a player drops a scalp when killed by another player. It would be called <name>'s Scalp, and can be sold to a Bounty Hunter NPC. Every time a player kills another player, the value of his own scalp will rise. However, if his scalp is collected, and then its value rises, the scalp collected will not rise in value.

The value of your scalp resets to 1 if a player kills you.

Take the thing to the blacksmith and pay for a repair, or mix it yourself!! Why is it so difficult to implement? The suggestion has been around as long as Eternal Lands!! -
What if we had new elixirs from monster drops that are super uber hard to get? Elixir of Physique- Permanently adds 1 to Physique. Elixir of Coordination- Permanently adds 1 to Coordination. Elixir of Reasoning- Permanently adds 1 to Reasoning. Elixir of Will- Permanently adds 1 to Will. Elixir of Instinct- Permanently adds 1 to Instinct. Elixir of Vitality- Permanently adds 1 to Vitality. EDIT: The number of each elixir the character has ever used will be stored in the character file, so if you #reset, the elixir effects hold.

I agree. F2P can have the same quests, but less quest rewards. Also, #3 is evil. Speaking of rich kids, it is not hard to sell equipment, alchemy items, gold, potions, etc. on eBay so you can make money on P2P rather than lose it. Entropy does it; we can do it too. Entropy probably does not use eBay though. :lol: *Points at Marketplace Forum*

A player who has never killed a player would have a scalp value of their overall level. Every time you kill a player, the value of your own scalp could increase by the value of the killed player's scalp. But then two friends could keep killing each other to make themselves worth more, and get money themselves. Here is a suggestion. The NPC who buys scalps could be in the center of White Stone, so it will not be easy to get to it. And also, you will be able to hold one of a player's scalp at a time. This will greatly discourage collection of each other's scalp. And also, there should be a record of every time you ever killed someone, your level when you killed it, and the killed player's level, just for fun.

The price is that you have to walk to the hospital. They could be quite remote, too. As for gold, my vote is 0.
