It didnt have to do with the dns it had to do with the config in .elc it was set to port 200 anyways I think el.cfg should be in the data dir of el it would be nice Oh and thanks so much.

Again this morning I tried it, I even installed a fresh copy of EL in another directory. I made sure the data dir was correct. Then when I ran it.... Sorry Cant Connect to server Help

I was playing EL and I made a smart comment a bought the rules of EL to a mod so I got the "read the rules" "dont argue with the rules" thing. When I started playing again my character was a female!!! Please can I have it changed back?
