  1. More weapons

Isn't that almost exactly what I said only I didn't say the failure part and you didn't say the experation part?
  2. This was the problem i was attempting to address. With these probability ratios there is only a 5% chance that the destroyed items are in your dropped bag, meaning you actually lose 55% of your inventory.
  3. More weapons

Nonsustainability, eventually then everyone would have a bonused weapon that would be worth keeping and would hold the bonus forever and everyone would just forget about the normal weaponry, causing the armorists to not sell anything.
  4. It took me a while to read the whole thread, and i'm not sure i cought all of it but here goes. Spontaiously destroying items can result in the player not having a weapon to fight the monster with or even get to a safer place, pretty much dooming them to a nice trip to hell. Degrading the item due to use seems a very good idea, as long as the items could be sold to an npc, since noone would want to keep the dammaged goods. Permanitly removing items at death seems like a good plan also but that would just compound the player's fear of more difficult monsters as all of the present suggestions would kill the stuff in the bag, decreasing the chances of recovering lost items. To solve this I propose that the percentage of items dropped in the bag at death be decreased, as well as where the items come from be changed. I haven't died too much but takeing the items that are manufactured and sold over the items that are just harvested would decrease the total manufactured goods.
  5. Incorperating a different game into the game seems kinda odd. Maybe creating a way for people to interact while playing the main game would be better, but i'm not quite sure how to do that. Possibly a chain of mosters that no one person can kill alone or specializing the races to different abilities. Like only the dwarves can mine at a reasonable rate or only the humans can manufacture armor or something that forces an increase in trade and relations.
  6. More weapons

The game doesn't necessarly need more weapons. Maybe a temorary weapon upgrade, like a stone droped from a monster that, once refined or something, upgrades a weapon for a fixed amount of time. Of course there would have to be a limit on the amout of upgrades possable.
