Well, resumin all the discution: picking one distro is like picking your favorite soccer team... it is a matter of taste. I think debian is a great distro, but fit for hard work, like a server, not for common desktop work. SuSE is my choice, it may be somewhat slow, too big to download (5 CDs) and space consuming when compared to other distros, but it has a great advantage: it is complete. It is easy to install, easy to manage, and come with almos every software you may need. You dont have to waste time looking for packages, compiling, managing dependencies. But as i said, it is a matter of taste.

Guys, i have noticed that EL does not have a full ASCII working. Looking at Font.bmp, i see that there are many letters missing, like "ã", "õ", "á" (but "é" is there, what makes it inconsistent). Is there any way to fix that? Probably it is a matter of only changing fonts.bmp, does not seem that coding would be much necessary.

In the last few months, a surge of guild controlled bots has been taking over the EL market. Offering easy-to-buy and easy-to-sell products, a question arises: are they one of the reasons for the excessive lowering of prices at the market, or are they just floating with the main stream?

There is a fairly big portuguese-speaking community in EL, and most of them speak english poorly. I am interested in translating not only the in-game lines, but also the quest texts and NPC messages, because that would help them a lot and keep some of them of abandoning the game. Is there any possible way to do that? I was told that these texts are only serverside, and that it was only possible to translate whats in the .xml files. It seems to me that to this translation of the NPC messages would be usefull only if a change on the server is made to support several languages.

Lyanna, Aren`t players the real "soul" of a game? Since this is a beta, our oppinion should count for something. If the majority dislike something, then something IS wrong. The way this new sistem was imposed, made everyone think that its a final step. You are right about the effect it will have on economy, but at what cost? This new update is stimulating ppl to stay AFK, because its really boring to watch it. Here is my suggestion to make the game more interesting: Instead of making harvest slower, set a limit of harvested stuff. In real life, mining dry up, a tree run out of fruits, and etc. This would let ppl free to do other stuff before they can harvest again. []'s Me

The formula in the testing server is great! I think its a reasonable harvesting speed.
