thats why i said "until recently". I disagree with most of what has happened recently in Iraq, because there are so many civilian killings and horrible things going on. But I also said "Their commanders are to blame for 99% of the wrongdoings, not the soldiers themselves." 99% of the wrongdoings. You only mention the bad things in Iraq and a few other times. Like i said earlier, these wrongdoings do NOT add up to the good that has been done by the US. The things that have happened in Iraq have been bad, but the overall goal is not to opress others. A few soldiers here and there may want to die for this, but the overall goal has been to rid Iraq of Alqaida (spelling?) and set up a democracy. This obviously went completely haywire, but you can't only look at the bad in things.

^^this is where you've been wrong all along, and you don't seem to be getting the message: the american army is given orders, they don't just sit around and think up horrible things to do (until recently). I agree with you 100% that the leaders of the army (the president, the army commanders, etc) should not be highly regarded, because much of their commands end up causing far too many unnecisary deaths. But dont say that the american soldiers lost their lives to opress others, because they didn't. the american soldiers lost their lives to follow out the orders of their commanders, or their president, because at the moment, they were told that this was the right thing to do. the soldiers do not go into war thinking "alright how can we piss of another romanian". they go into war with a pride for their country, and they do what they are told, because they believe that what they are told is the right thing to do. Their commanders are to blame for 99% of the wrongdoings, not the soldiers themselves.

guess thats where u get it from.. :? my point in disagreeing with you all along ent wasn't to get all political and try to prove or disprove what america has or hasn't done. my point in disagreeing with you was to stick up for people like queenjenny who have to sit here and listen to people like you treat them like they're dirt, just because some of their fellow soldiers act like dirt. like Kira said, there ARE bad americans, but not all americans are like that.

ok there have obviously been bad things that the US, maybe even the soldiers, have done. But that gives you no right to disrespect all of the good things that have been done, which far outweigh the bad things. I know the US isn't perfect, but neither is any other country. People make mistakes, but today wasn't a day to put down a whole group of people for the mistakes of a few of them. Today is a day to remember the good that's been done by those who truely chose to represent the USA for what it really stands for. I dont care how much bad we've done, because we've done so much good for the rest of the world that there will always be something to remember and be thankful for.

^u took the words right out of my mouth. what ent said was very disrespectful. i'm not a soldier, i'm only a kid, but i understand what this day means to my country and what it should mean to me. sorry u had to hear ent's remarks and i hope he's sorry too. as for memorial day, let's not allow it to be ruined just because of one person's one-sided views.. happy memorial day to all!

hey i just downloaded the game onto another comp, with windows xp, the download went smooth, but when i log in someting weird happens.. there are three thick vertical lines that seem to 'freeze' the colors that they first show, and they don't change.. so when i walk, there are three vertical lines that are fine, but three that are screwed up.. sometimes they're black, sometimes green, i'm not really sure why tho... the only dif. between the new comp and the old one is that the new one is xp, and the old one is me (ME worked fine) oh and the error log says the following: Error: Problems loading texture: ./textures/fontv.bmp
